SYNOPSIS/PROBLEM:
This kit contains the parts needed to install a new hopper prop rod on the model 8010
sweeper/scrubber.
Please follow step-by-step instructions.
SPECIAL TOOLS/CONSIDERATIONS:welder,temporaryhopperprop device

PREPARATION:
(Referto FIG.1,2 and 3)
FORSAFETY:Beforeleaving orservicing machine,stop on levelsurface and setparking
brake.Thenturn off machine and remove key.
1. Open hopper cover and engage existing prop rod.
2. Create a temporary prop arm from a wood 2x4 or stronger material aproximately 4’ to
5’ (60”) long.
INSTALLATION:
(Referto FIG.1,2 and 3)
3. Support hopper cover with temporary prop arm placed under the left side of hopper.
4. Remove and discard all parts of existing prop rod.
5. Using dimensions from FIG. 1, weld bracket (8) to the top right side of the hopper.

6. Mount cover support plate (5) with four hex screws (6) and washers (7).

7. Once weld has cooled, mount cover rod (1) to bracket (8) using hex screw (2), washers (3)
and nylon hex nut (4). (RefertoFIG.2 and 3)
8. Remove temporary prop arm and check stability of new hopper prop arm assembly.
9. Disengage prop arm and close hopper cover.
