right antenna for your location. You can use the Antenna
Locator on the terk.com Web site. You can also use the
Reception Center guide available at many consumer
electronics retailers. Then, we provide a full line of antennas
to choose from. These vary from long range, multi-element
antennas to satellite dish clip-on antennas, and an
indoor/outdoor antenna great for under the eaves of your
roof. Lastly, we provide the installation hardware to quickly
and easily install them.
WANT TO KNOW WHAT’S SO
COOL ABOUT HDTV?
Everything! But to get free local HDTV programming you
need an off-air antenna. Imagine seeing the expression on a
wide receiver’s face as he catches the ball, or even seeing
the details on the faces in the crowd. That’s HDTV. It’s high
resolution digital television (1080-line interlaced, or 720-line
progressive) that’s 6x sharper than regular TV, with the
ability to display widescreen 16x9 theater style content and
Dolby® Digital Surround Sound. Today there are 1000
stations and close to 200 markets broadcasting DTV (digital
television) signals. Many of these local brodcasts can’t be
received through satellite dishes or cable. You’ll need to
complement those systems with an off-air antenna. Having
a quality outdoor antenna will make getting local HDTV
programming possible. It will also make it free.
