Before pricking, keep selected puncture site
clean or disinfect by using an alcohol swab.
Turn the Dial to select the desired lancing
depth. The FINETOUCH Lancing Device
allows you to choose between 5 levels of
lancing depth. (Fig.1)

Soft or thin skin (shallow lancing depth)

Caution in Use
• Do not set the Lancing depth indicator
between two depth markers.
• Make sure that the Lancing depth
indicator is pointing at a Scale-bar on
the Dial. (Fig.2)
• Start with the shallow lancing depth to
nd the appropriate lancing depth.
Insert the lancet into the FINETOUCH
Lancing Device. Twist and pull the lancet
cap to remove it from the lancet. (Fig.3)
Caution in Use
• Only use Lancet for FINETOUCH.
•
Do not use the lancet when the
packaging is damaged, when the lancet
cap is previously removed, when the
lancet is damaged or any defect is found.
LancetLancing Device
• When you insert the lancet into the
FINETOUCH Lancing Device, be careful
about the direction of the lancet and
insert it straight.
• Insert the lancet as far as it will go until
you hear a clear “Click”; make sure not
to push the Push button. (Fig.4)
• If the Push button is pushed
accidentally, keep the lancet attached
and pull the Set lever until you hear
"Click". (Fig. 5)
• Once the lancet is detached from the
FINETOUCH Lancing Device, do not
reinsert it. If you reinsert the lancet,
the needle will remain exposed,
without the “Click”. Replace detached
lancet with a new one.
Place the lancet gently against the
selected puncture site and push the Push
button. (Fig. 6)
•
After pricking, gently squeeze around the
puncture site to obtain a drop of blood.
• Before pricking, keep selected puncture site clean or disinfect by using an
alcohol swab.
•
Make sure that blood or devices contaminated with blood, including tissue paper
and other items you have used, do not come into contact with any other person.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not store the FINETOUCH Lancing Device with the lancet attached. It can
cause malfunction of the lancing depth adjustment.
With regard to Lancet for FINETOUCH, please be careful of the following
precautions.
• For single use only. Do not reuse. Do not resterilize. Do not reprocess.
• Reprocessing may compromise the sterility, biocompatibility and functional
integrity of the device.
This product is intended for capillary blood collection from the ngertip, earlobe
or heel using a disposable Lancet for FINETOUCH. Please read carefully before use.
Caution in Use
• Blood will clot when it is left in the air. Immediately after taking the
blood sample, proceed with blood testing.
•
After using the blood sample, wipe the puncture site with a dry and clean
tissue paper. Stop bleeding (for example by using sterile adhesive tape).
Remove the used lancet straight from the FINETOUCH Lancing Device.
Please dispose of used lancets and contaminated materials appropriately
to a special container immediately after single use in order to avoid
accidental needle-stick injuries or contamination to others.
Caution in Use
• The needle may come out from the tip of the lancet if there is a strong
impact on the lancet before disposal.
• If product fails to operate correctly, please stop using and replace the
FINETOUCH Lancing Device.
• If the FINETOUCH Lancing Device is deformed or damaged, stop using
and replace the FINETOUCH Lancing Device.
■Cleaning instructions
Clean the FINETOUCH Lancing Device as required using a mild liquid cleaner or
a soft tissue moistened with water.
In addition, the FINETOUCH Lancing Device can be disinfected by wiping the
surface of the device with ethanol, isopropyl alcohol or chlorhexidine
gluconate according to the instructions of the disinfectants manufacturer.
Do not immerse the FINETOUCH Lancing Device completely in liquid.

Avoid exposure to water and direct sunlight.
Do not store at extreme temperatures and humidity.
