WELCOME
Hydra-Masque™
With age, hyaluronic acid levels in the skin begin to deplete and
collagen production slows, causing the skin to sag and show its
age. Hydra-Masque takes a stand against ageing – combining an
electrically conductive hyaluronic gel masque with active micro-
current rollers that drive the active ingredients into the skin for
intensive hydration and skin firming. You’ll love the plumping action,
while your skin is left glowing and revived.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND HYDRA-MASQUE
GALVANIC THERAPY
Galvanic technology has been used in salons for many years as a powerful tool for holding back the signs
of facial ageing.
Infusion (Iontophoresis): The micro-current infusion treatment pumps the active ingredients into the skin.

YOUR HYDRA-MASQUE
Hydra-Masque has an inbuilt skin detect function.
The galvanic technology will
only function if both side plates are in contact with your fingers and the
roller treatment head is touching your skin.
This is indicated by the blue
treatment light illuminating.
During treatment, always hold the main body of the unit so that your fingers grip the
side plates, as illustrated.

PATCH TEST
PATCH TEST ✓
Important: Always do a patch test with the Anti-Ageing Masque on an inconspicuous area of your skin for
possible skin reaction. To test, tear a very small corner on one side of the gel masque pack. Remove a
small amount of the liquid surrounding the masque and dab on your skin. Wait 24 hours. If irritation occurs
do not continue treatment.
BATTERY INFORMATION
To fit the battery, release the clip and open the battery cover. Connect a PP3 9V alkaline battery
ensuring the + terminal is as shown. Ensure the battery release ribbon is underneath the battery and
replace the battery cover.
• If the unit is left unused for a long period of time, remove the battery.
• Do NOT use rechargeable batteries.
• Please ensure that used batteries are disposed of in the correct manner in accordance with local
authority requirements.
Low battery warning
The LCD will display to indicate low battery.

TREATMENT
Important: Before using Hydra-Masque, cleanse your face thoroughly. We recommend using Rio
Gentle Facial Cleansing Gel to ensure all traces of make-up are removed.
1. The Anti-Ageing Masque is packaged in two separate sections – one for the treatment of the
upper face and one for the lower face. We recommend treating half the face at a time and treating
the upper face first.
2. Hold the foil packet with the masque facing upwards and the tray underneath. Carefully tear the
foil and remove the individual plastic tray.

3. Lift out masque, unfold and place on the face. We recommend that you recline slightly when
applying the masque, such as lying propped up on a bed or sofa. Ensure you have a tissue or
towel available to absorb any excess liquid from the masque.
Tip:
To ensure correct positioning, have a mirror to hand when applying the masque.
4. Press and hold the power button to turn the unit on. The LCD display will illuminate, ready for you
to select the intensity level.
5. Hold the main body of the unit so that your fingers grip the side plates.

6. Apply the roller head to the masque. Increase
the intensity by pressing the (+) button.
We recommend using a low intensity level
(1–3) for the first treatment. On higher levels,
you may experience a mild tingling.
7. Switch the unit off by pressing the power
button for 3 seconds. The unit will beep and
turn off.
Note:
If at any time the tingling is uncomfortable,
decrease intensity by pressing the (–) button.
Some users may experience a metallic taste; this
is quite normal.

Treatment Zone 1
Starting above the eye socket, apply the rollers to one side of your forehead and slowly roll from the
centre outwards, from your brow to hairline.
Once complete, repeat on the opposite side of your forehead.
Finally roll from between your eyebrows upwards towards your hairline.

Then move to the under eye area. Gently roll outwards under the socket, following your natural bone
structure and ensuring that the roller is at least 1 cm away from the eye.
Continue onto the cheek area, repeating on each side of the face.
Move onto the nose, gently rolling downwards using one side of the roller head on
each side of the nose, then roll down the middle of the nose. Use small vertical
movements or alternatively roll from side to side.
