Camera Set-up
1. The device should be installed in an area with 16 °C to 28°C ambient
temperature.
2. Insert the NTC (Negative Thermometer Coefficient thermistor) before
turning ON the device.
Note: The device will not turn ON normally or will not display
temperature if NTC is not connected
3. Plug the power supply.
Note:
3.1 The camera should not face heat sources such as human body,
human faces, or other hot objects.
3.2 Make sure that there are no obstacles in front of the camera.
3.3 It is recommended to face the camera to the ceiling during boot
up.
4. Connect the power cable to power port
5. Connect the network cable to network port.

Notes:
5.1 Standalone : Temperature Screening will start once the power
adapter and power cable are connected. The camera is ready to use.
5.2 PC Connection: The ethernet cable is necessary for connecting
directly to a PC or through a router. This will enable image recording on
the PC. Downloadable software is necessary for PC Connection.
6. Wait for the camera to boot up. Camera to display 111 to 999, then
camera will auto scan and display ambient temperature.

PC Connection Set-up
1. Install the provided TMS (Thermometer Management Software) in a
Windows PC.
2. Select preferred language (English or Chinese).

3. On the software window, click “Dev. Search” to find the device info.
4. (a) Select the device to be added though the serial number behind the
chassis with corresponding IP address segment set on router and (b)
click DEVAdd tab.
Note: IP segment setting can be disabled on router to stop online viewing7

5. a) Double click the added device. b) This allows to change device
name, User and password. c) Click “Dev Add” to save the changes.

Set the Group Name
1. Click the blue icon (a) to add a Folder to the device list. Type in group
name (b). Click “ADD” to add group name to group list.(c)

Note:
Group name management enables easy traceability or tagging of multiple
installed devices.

2. (d)Select Dev Group where you want the device to be added then
(e)click “Dev Add”.

Temperature Calibration Setting:
1. Select Work Mode and click “Set Mode” button to set.
1.1 Calibration Mode –Click when using black body / human body
to calibrate the device (this is a factory procedure)
2. Set the calibration temperature.
2.1 Black Body Calibration - Set the black body temperature
to 36.5°C. After the black body temperature stabilizes, this
temperature can be used as the calibration temperature.
2.2 Human Body Calibration - Use a reliable forehead
thermometer to get the average of human body temperature
at least 3X, and use the average as the calibration temperature.
3. Set the human body / Black body with in 1 meter in front of the
thermometer camera and click Calib button to start the calibration.
Note: Human and black body should not move during the calibration.
4. At the start of calibration, the device will prompt a “DEE” sound and
will beep once the calibration is completed.

Viewing Temperature Measurement Photos
1. When the Temperature Screening Camera is working normally, the
software will record a message and save an image of each person
measured It can be viewed through the software installation path.
2. Click System Control, select System Configuration, Select file to view
the software installation path.
2.1 Picture Folder Saving Format:
➢Picture Folder
➢Year and Month Folder (YYYY-MM)
➢Date Folder (DD)

Checking Temperature Record
1. The software only displays the temperature measurement records for
the current day. The information and photos before 00:01 in the
morning are not displayed. It can be checked in the “”Event
Management”.
2. Click Event Management and select Event Query.
3. Scroll Device Name, Scroll Start time and End Time.
4. Temperature Data can be viewed on Software or can be exported to
excel file format.

1. High Temperature Alarm at 37.4°C
The device will prompt five times of “b—b—b—” sound and two alarm
lights flash at the same time. When connected to a PC, the image with
alarm temperature information shall be uploaded to the management
platform software.

Suggested Procedures for High Temperature Detection:
1. Person with high temperature should step aside and proceed to a
holding or isolation area
2. Temperature may need to be verified using an alternative medical
thermometer.
3. If high temperature is persistent, appropriate measures should be
taken immediately

Caution and Daily Maintenance:
1. Before using the product, be sure to read this manual in detail and
operate it according to the procedures in this manual. Keep it well
ventilated and avoid rain and direct sunlight. Do not use in high
humidity above 75%.
2. When cleaning the equipment, do not use volatile solvents such as
alcohol, benzene, thinner, gaseous organic solvents or water to clean
the equipment, so as not to scratch or damage the surface coating of
the lenses and the equipment. Use appropriate lens cleaning
materials.
3. Always turn off device during maintenance.
4. Do not drop, shake, knock or hit the product vigorously.
Warranty Policy:
1. Warranty does not cover misuse of device or use of any procedures,
settings, or software not according to this manual.
2. 12 months warranty period from the date of shipment.
3. During the warranty period, shipping and necessary tariffs are not
included and shall be paid by the client.

Exclusion of rights
Licenses or other rights of whatever nature particularly the right to bear
the name of the company, and rights to patents, device model and/or
marks or other protected industrial rights, are not granted by this
Agreement and no corresponding duty to grant such right shall arise from
this Agreement.
Exclusion of Liability under Data Privacy
Testech, Inc. does not control and is not liable on how the user collects,
stores, uses, transfers and deletes the data. Under this terms and
conditions, Testech, Inc. is not responsible for the unauthorized third-party
access, any offensive, inappropriate, obscene, unlawful, infringing or
otherwise objectionable or illegal capturing of video or photo using the
device. The user has a sole responsibility to comply and maintain the
infrastructure, IT security during online and offline use as mandated by the
Data Privacy Act of 2012 or any applicable laws. The user shall establish
its own Data Privacy Compliance Management, registration to appropriate
government or acquire its own software license to use the product, if
applicable.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, Testech, Inc. and its
Directors, officers, employees, agents and supplier hereby exclude and
disclaim liability for any misuse of data, noncompliance to Data Privacy
Act of 2012, any losses or expenses of whatever nature and however
arising without limitation, any direct, general, punitive, incidental or
consequential damages, loss of use, loss of data , loss caused by virus,
loss of income, loss of damages to property, claims of third party or any
losses of any kind of character. The user assumes the total responsibility
for establishing necessary procedures for data backup, protection from
any data breach, virus checking as you consider as necessary. This
limitation is based on contract and tort which includes negligence.

In connection with the foregoing exclusion and disclaimer, the user shall
hold Testech, Inc., its Directors, officers, employees, agents and supplier
free and harmless from and against any claims, liability or action for
damages brought by any third party arising from such unauthorized, illegal
or misused of such data, and shall indemnify Testech, Inc., its Directors,
officers, employees, agents and supplier for any expenses incurred from
such claims, liability or action for damages, including attorney’s fees.

Rapid Thermal Scanner
This non-contact Rapid Thermal Scanner checks your
body temperature. If 37.4 degrees C or higher, the
camera emits a sound alarm and flashing lights,
please step-aside for further verification.
Note: This Rapid Thermal Scanner helps comply with
COVID-19 health guidelines for workplace safety and
has image capturing capability for reference, when
connected to aPC. This information is retained in
accordance with Data Privacy Act of 2012. For the full
