TDC1000 Ultrasonic “Test Cell” Assembly Instructions

Supplies required:
1. CYA glue w/Latex
2. CYA Accelerator
3. Plastic “test cell” container
4. 400 grit sandpaper
5. Alcohol
6. Hot glue gun
7. Ultrasonic transducers w/attached wires
8. Spray duster/ air gun
Assembly Steps:
1. Roughen 1cm square area on lower side of plastic container with sandpaper
2. Degrease with alcohol
3. Dry area with air gun
4. Apply CYA glue to 1cm square area

5. Attach transducer to glue spot with leads out to side of container
6. While applying gentle pressure to transducer to hold it in place apply “CYA Accelerator”
to transducer.
7. Wait approximately 15 sec for glue to cure. Blow off excess Accelerator.
8. Apply alcohol to clean area. Dry area with air gun

9. Apply hot glue around the circumference of the transducer
10. and continue covering transducer until it is completely covered in hotglue
11. Use air to gently cool glue.
