1 Purpose: N8800 motherboard replacement.
2 Procedures:
Remove the N8800 Motherboard
2.1 Please prepares (Crosshead) Screwdriver
2.2 Using screw drive to cover panel’s screw.

2.3 Overlook of inside
2.4 Remove the Riser Card
Without the riser card

2.5 Remove the BP board
Lift it.

2.6 Remove all the connector.

2.7 Here’s without any connector and remove MB’s stable screws.
2.8 Remove the DOM.

2.9 Remove the CPU’s cooler and DRAM.

2.10 Install the N8800 Motherboard
Reverse above steps 2-1 to 2-9 to assemble the NAS unit with new motherboard.

3 Warning
3.1 When attach cable connectors to the motherboard in step 2-6, make sure the pin1
location.
3.2 Beware 2-8 DOM pin location in the middle of the bracket, otherwise the DOM may
be burnt
3.3 Make 2-9 CPU pin 1 location should easily & smoothly installed.
