1. Features
The TT-MTC2-4Ais an electronic timer-thermostat with preset temperature control, which allows a load to be
switched over a preset period: 2, 4 and 6 hours. The controller senses the ambient temperature in the room
and maintains the room temperature to your desired ‘Comfort’ setting during a ‘timer on’ period. The
TT-MCT2-4A also has the added feature of a ‘Backup’ temperature setting. This allows you to set a level where
if the room temperature drops below the ‘Backup’ setting the heater will come on and maintain that set
temperature even outside a ‘timer on’ period. This reduces the heat-up time when the timer is turned on and
offers frost protection as well. You can also use the TT-MTC2-4A as a timer only, this may be required if you
wish to control heaters mounted in an outdoor undercover location.
NB: If rooms are to be unattended for long periods of time (weeks) and you are in a cold area you may wish to
turn off the heaters at the switch board or isolator to prevent unnecessary “backup’ operation.
