IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be
followed, including:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Remove all bags and packaging from appliance before use.
3. Make sure the appliance is thoroughly cleaned before using.
4. Make sure appliance is turned to OFF before plugging cord into the
wall plug.
5. Make sure the appliance is turned to OFF before unplugging the cord
from the wall plug.
6. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of expe-
rience and knowledge unless they are provided with supervision and
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
7. This appliance is intended for household use only.
8. This appliance should only be used to mix soft ingredients such as
flour, cream, eggs or creamy liquids. To avoid damaging your Mixer,
do not attempt to mix hard ingredients.
9. Avoid contact with moving parts. To reduce the risk of injury to per-
sons and/or damage to the appliance, do not put your hands, hair,
clothing or other objects near or in the Mixer during use.
10. Always make sure the voltage used is consistent with the nominal
voltage of the Mixer.
11. Make sure the Mixer is set to “0” (OFF) before and after use.

12. Always make sure to turn off and unplug the Mixer when leaving it
unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
13. Do not remove any parts while appliance is in use or plugged in.
14. When using any extension cords, make sure the electrical rating of
the wire is compatible with the Mixer.
15. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug.
16. If appliance malfunctions, discontinue use until problem is resolved.
17. Refrain from using any accessory attachments that are not recom-
mended by the appliance manufacturer, as they may result in fire,
electric shock or personal injury.
18. To prevent the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury, do not
place the cord, plug, or unit near water or other liquids.
19. All components included with the Mixer are compatible with this
product only. Do not use these parts on other similar products.
20. Do not use the appliance if any of the parts are damaged.
21. Do not place appliance on or near a hot gas burner, hot electric burner,
or in a heated oven.
22. Do not remove any parts while appliance is in use or plugged in.
23. Do not leave the appliance unattended when in use.
24. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug does not completely fit in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
Do not modify the plug in any way.
WARNING: Do not use mixer on any setting for more than a 10 minute

duration. Recommendation is to allow motor to cool down between con-
secutive uses to avoid overheating.
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Unwrap the device and the various components and check that each
part is in good condition.
2. Remove all stickers and labels on the product, apart from those bear-
ing the mandatory information on the base of the product.
3. Read all these instructions carefully, adhering to the usage and safety
guidelines. Keep these instructions and inform any other potential users.
4. Clean the device with a damp cloth and a small amount of washing
up liquid if necessary. Dry carefully with a dry cloth. Do not use any
aggressive cleaning agent, nor abrasive sponge, so as not to dam-
age the product.
5. Before using the device for the first time, or after a long period of disuse,
it should be cleaned with fresh or soapy water.
6. Never place the base of the processor in water. This risks damaging
the motor and could cause electrocution
HOW TO USE
WARNING: Do not put hands or utensils inside the Mixing Bowl while
the appliance is on and the Beaters are moving. Make sure the machine
is OFF and unplugged before proceeding.
1. Place the device on a flat surface.

2. Press the motor unit release button and move it to the position indi-
cated in the product description diagram above.
3. Set the bowl on its base. To tighten and lock in position, hold the turnta-
ble base and turn the bowl clockwise until locked. Once the device has
been switched off and unplugged, hold the turntable base and turn the
bowl counterclockwise to unlock the bowl and remove it.
4. Insert the dough hooks or whisks as shown in the image above.
The hooks and whisks display the letters ‘L’ and ‘R’ for correct
placement. The unit itself has the ‘L’ and ‘R’ noted on the under-
neath of the motor head next to the holes. With the product facing

you, the ‘L’ hook/whisk goes on the left and the ‘R’ hook/whisk goes
on the right. When you hear the click, the hooks/whisks have been
properly set in place (figure A).
5. Ensure the speed regulator is set at OFF before plugging unit in.
6. Place the ingredients in the bowl and select a speed from 0 to 6, with
0 indicating that the product is off and 6 being the maximum speed.
7. In order to add ingredients while the mixer is switched on, reduce the
speed to 1 or 0 and push the adjustment lever down and then slide it
right or left, depending on the starting position of the adjustment lever
(figure B). By sliding the adjustment level left and right you will also
be able help with the mixing process of your ingredients.
8. If necessary, turn off the device and use a spatula to move the ingre-
dients back into the centre of the bowl.
9. Once you are satisfied with your culinary preparation, move the
speed regulator back to 0 and unplug the device.

10. Use the utensil eject button to remove the whisks/dough hooks.
Never push this button while the device is in operation.
NOTE: If you are making cookie dough (thicker than normal dough)
you may feel the bowl vibrate. If this should happen, realign the bowl
and ensure the dough is in the centre of the bowl, continue.
DEVICE MAINTENANCE
1. Always unplug the device before cleaning and remove all the accessories.
2. Clean all the accessories with soapy water. Do not immerse the motor
unit in water, nor allow water to get in through the motor air vent.
WARNING: DO NOT SUBMERGE THE MOTOR IN WATER OR ANY
LIQUID. THE MAIN BASE IS NOT DISHWASHER SAFE.
DISASSEMBLY AND CLEANING
1. Turn the Mixer to the “0” (Off) setting before unplugging and cleaning.
2. Tilt the Motor Head upwards and press the Eject button to remove
Beaters.
3. Turn the Mixing Bowl counterclockwise until it detaches from the Main
Base.
4. Wash both Mixing Bowl and Beaters in warm, soapy water.
5. Wipe down the Main Base with a damp dish cloth.
