INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
for Fluorescent Luminaire Disconnect
LD2P and LD2WP Push-in Wire Series
(catalog numbers may have alpha and/or numeric sufxes)
NOTICE: THIS PRODUCT IS TO BE INSTALLED
BY A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN IN ACCORDANCE
WITH NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE OR CANADIAN
ELECTRICAL CODE REQUIREMENTS.

ONE-TIME USE ONLY — DO NOT REUSE
INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect power before installing.
2. Verify the voltage and current ratings of the luminaire are
equal to or less than the disconnect (4A, 600v)
3. Strip wire insulation to 3/8” minimum, 13/32” for 12 AWG
(Figure 1).
4. If stranded wire, straighten and uniformly group (Figure 1).
5. Insert the wires completely into the wire entries marked
“B” for black or hot lead, and “W” for white or neutral lead.
Slightly twisting stranded wire while inserting helps keep
strands together.
6. Insert black ballast lead (18 AWG solid) into the black
marked wire entry (also marked “B”) and ballast neutral lead
(18 AWG solid) into the other wire entry (marked “W”), on
the ballast side of the disconnect (Figure 2).
7. Insert supply line and neutral leads into the line side wire
(entries marked “B” and “W”) of the disconnect making sure
the wire leads are in-line and match the ballast leads on the
ballast side.
8. Energize the circuit and conrm the luminaire is functional.

To separate the disconnect, squeeze the top and bottom latch
with your ngers and then pull the two halves apart.

INSTALLATION
1. Couper le courant avant l’installation.
2. Vérier que la tension et les caractéristiques du courant du
luminaire sont égales ou moindre que celles du sectionneur
(4 A, 600 V)
3. Dénuder l’isolant du l sur au moins 3/8 po, 13/32 po pour le
calibre 12 AWG (Figure 1).
4. Si le l est toronné, le redresser et le regrouper uniformément
(Figure 1).
5. Insérer les ls complètement dans les entrées marquées « B »
pour le l noir ou actif « W » pour le l blanc ou neutre. Appliquer
une torsion au l toronné en l’insérant aide à retenir les torons
ensemble.
6. Insérer le l noir du ballast (18 AWG plein ) dans l’entrée de l
noir (aussi marquée « B ») et le l neutre du ballast (18 AWG
plein) dans l’autre entrée de l (marquée « W »), du côté ballast
du sectionneur (Figure 2).
7. Insérer les ls de la ligne d’alimentation dans les entrées marquées
« B » et « W » côté ligne du sectionneur en veillant à ce que les ls
soient alignés et correspondent aux ls du ballast côté ballast.
8. Mettre le courant et conrmer que le luminaire fonctionne.

Pour ouvrir le sectionneur, presser sur le verrou supérieur et
inférieur avec vos doigts et séparer les deux moitiés.
