PRECAUTIONS
Always turn off lantern before charging, otherwise it can not be efficiently charged.
Never use solvents containing benzol or petroleum for cleaning the unit.
Wipe off dust and stains with soft damp cloth.
If you have not used the lantern for more than 2 weeks, remember to recharge before reuse.
Exposure of the unit to temperature over 80°C may damage the plastic case.

OPERATION FOR RADIO
1) Select AM/FM/WB (Optional) broadcasting by rotate the BAND switch( 4 ).
2) Rotate volume knob ( 6 ) to turn on and desirable level of the radio.
3) Rotate the tuning knob ( 3 ) to the desirable station.
4) To rotate your telescopic antenna ( 9 ) for better FM or WB band frequencies reception.
5) To rotate the unit for better AM band reception.
OPERATION FOR LANTERN / LED LIGHT AND EMERGENCY LIGHT
1) For operation of lantern, press the Lantern level control button knob ( 7 ) to turn on the light and continuous pressing to
selection for three level of brightness.
2) To use the siren and blinker simultaneously for emergency purpose, push siren button knob (8) to turn on the siren
sound and red LED blinking light.
OPERATION FOR FLASHLIGHT
For operation of flashlight, push the flashlight button knob ( 5 ) to turn on/off flashlight.
CHARGING PRECAUTION
For hand crank dynamo and DC charging, make sure “OFF” power for better efficiency charge.
HAND CRANK DYNAMO CHARGING
To achieve a partial charge, hand crank the dynamo speed about 120n/m for any time storage power to built-in
rechargeable battery. No batteries is required.
Hand crank the dynamo in 3 minutes can provide 15 ~ 20 minutes to lantern full light illumination.
Hand crank the dynamo in 3 minutes can provide 30 ~ 40 minutes to flashlight illumination.
Hand crank the dynamo in 3 minutes can provide 30 ~ 40 minutes to radio for half volume setting.
Hand crank the dynamo in 3 minutes can provide 2 ~ 3 minutes to siren and blinking.
Hand crank the dynamo in 3 minutes can provide 1 minute mobile phone taking time and 45 minutes standby times.
Notice: It is hard to full charge the unit to 100% by dynamo recharging system unless to use AC / DC adapter.
DYNAMO CHARGING FOR OUTSIDE DEVICE
The dynamo charge out for your mobile phone charge, plug the connecting cable into the ( Ø 3.5mm ) DC-OUT jack on the
unit and make sure the polarity is correct. Then Crank in moderate speed for charging.
When the unit is fully discharged, the function of the unit can also be operated from immediate dynamo charging. Usually the
purpose of dynamo charging is for temporary or emergency use while the rechargeable battery is discharged, it is not
recommended to use dynamo mainly for full charging the battery.
Notice: To use the dynamo, always cranking handle speed about 120 turns per minute in moderate speed to prevent damage
of the gear box. When Cranking, the green LED light of the lantern is on to indicate the dynamo is working.
DC CHARGE BY EXTERNAL DC JACK
To use 6V/200mA AC/DC adapter for external DC charging, plug the connecting cable to the ( Ø 3.5mm ) DC jack at the side
of the unit door. (Consult your local dealer for a suitable voltage adapter. Do not charge the battery with the AC / DC adapter
for more than 24 hours.)
EMERGENCY SIREN AND BLINKING
Press SIREN (13) button to on or off the siren tone with light blinking.
HOW TO REPLACE THE BACK-UP BATTERY
To open the back-up battery compartment door ( 14 ), put 3 x “AA” size regular or alkaline batteries into the battery
compartment and make sure the polarities are correct. In use the “AA” battery power, slide the switch ( 18 ) to [ ] position,
unless set to [ ] position for use of rechargeable batteries.
Note: 1. Do not mix the old and new batteries.
2. Do not mix standard and alkaline or rechargeable batteries.
HOW TO REPLACE THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
Open the rechargeable battery compartment door ( 17 ) inside back-up battery compartment, you can simply un-plug the old
rechargeable battery to replace the new one.
IMPORTANT
If the unit has not been used for a long period of time, the rechargeable battery may be completely discharged into a “sleep
mode” condition. This is the characteristics of all the rechargeable battery. For the first time to recharge (to wake up) the
battery, it is recommended to use AC / DC adapter to charge for a period not exceed 24 hours. This will bring the rechargeable
battery sooner back to it’s normal function mode.
BUILT-IN WITH ULTRA BRIGHT LED LIGHT
The ultra bright LEDs bulb is the energy saving light and it can perform long operational time with low power consumption. The
life time for LED light is very long and it is firmly built-in and is not necessary to be replaced.
CHARGING INDICATOR / SIREN LED LIGHT / LOW BATTERY REMINDER
When the colored LED light is on, it indicates the dynamo charging is taking place. When the red LED light are blinking, its
show the emergency light is working, but when the red LED light is weakenly on (not blinking), this indicate the voltage of the
rechargeable battery is getting lower. If the red LED light is weakenly off, the rechargeable battery is starting to go into the
“sleep mode” condition.
