steam during use. Proper precautions must be taken to prevent the risk of
burns, fires or other damage to persons or property.

WARNING: To avoid damage to property and injury to persons, NEVER store the Treat Maker
without first having 2 MATCHING upper and lower baking plates properly assembled and
locked into position.
4. Set the appliance on a dry, clean and flat surface. Keep the Treat Maker closed until use.
Operating instructions
1. Pull the handle latch lock up to unlock. Lift the lid to the open position.
WARNING: To avoid injury to persons and/or damage to property, NEVER plug the
Treat Maker into any electrical outlet without first having your chosen 2 MATCHING
upper and lower baking plates properly assembled and locked into position.
Please see “Before Using for the First Time” section of this instruction manual for
complete baking plate removal and assembly instructions.
2. Before baking the first mini cup cakes, mini donuts or waffle sticks of the day, use a pastry
brush or paper towel to apply a generous coat of oil to each of the cavities on the upper
and lower baking plates.
3. Close the lid. Fold the handle latch over the handle. An audible click can be heard as the latch
locks the Treat Maker closed.
4. Plug unit into a 120V AC electrical outlet to preheat. The red POWER ON light will illuminate.
NOTE: When your Treat Baker is heated for the first time, it may emit slight smoke or odor.
This is normal and should disappear after 1 or 2 uses. This does not affect the safety of
the appliance. However, as it may affect the flavor of the first baked goods prepared in
the Treat Maker, it is recommended that these be discarded.
5. While preheating, prepare batter.
6. After approximately 4 to 5 minutes, the red READY light will illuminate, indicating the unit
is preheated and is ready for use.

9
7. Using the batter squeeze bottle (included)
• The squeezable bottle is light, and easily controlled with one hand.
• Fill batter bottle with any thin (runny) batter to fill molds.
NOTE: The batter bottle can also be used to add your favorite glaze.
See glaze recipes in the “Recipe” section of this instruction manual.
8. Filling the batter squeeze bottle
NOTE: Do not use the batter squeeze bottle for very thick batters.
Instead, use a tablespoon to scoop batter into molds.
• Remove the lid from the batter bottle.
• Use a funnel or roll a piece of wax (or parchment) paper into a cone. Insert the funnel or cone
into the batter bottle. Slowly pour the filling (batter or glaze) through the funnel or cone into
the bottle.
or . . .
• Pour the batter into a plastic storage bag, trim a corner and slowly squeeze the filling
into the bottle.
• Allow air bubbles to escape from the mixture by tapping the upright batter bottle against
any hard surface.
WARNING: Do not fill the batter bottle more than 2/3 full with rising batter, as batter
may expand as it sits. Remove the funnel or cone.
• Replace the batter bottle top, twisting it firmly to seal.
• Wipe any excess filling with a paper towel.
9. When the red READY light illuminates, the Treat Maker is preheated. Using the batter
squeeze bottle or a tablespoon, add the suggested amounts of batter to each cavity on
the lower baking plate.
IMPORTANT: Cavities should be almost full, depending on batter consistency and rise.
The optimal amount of batter to produce a full-shaped baked treat, without overflowing,
will vary with different batters. Recipes may vary in bake time and brownness; lighter batters
with more sugar will brown quicker. Note the perfect bake times and batter quantity needed
for each recipe for future use.
SUGGESTED BAKING CHART
Treat Batter/Cavity Suggested Cook Time
Mini Cupcakes 1 heaping tablespoon 5-8 minutes
Mini Donuts 1 heaping tablespoon 3-4 minutes
Waffle Sticks 2 tablespoons 5 minutes
10. Use the handle to lower the top lid. Fold the handle latch over the handle to lock.
11. The red READY light will cycle on and off as the unit maintains baking temperatures.
12. At the end of the suggested cook time, check for doneness by inserting a dry toothpick into the
center of the mini cupcake, mini donut or waffle stick. If it comes out clean, the baked treat is ready.
13. Wearing oven mitts, wipe the outside with a clean paper towel or cleaning cloth if necessary.
14. Wearing oven mitts, remove the baked goods from the lower baking plate using a non-metallic
utensil or a small plastic fork. Place on a cooling rack before decorating, glazing or dusting.
NOTE: If additional treats are to be baked, keep the Treat Maker closed to retain heat.
Always wait until the red READY light illuminates before baking a fresh batch.
NOTE: It may be necessary to adjust to shorter baking times as baking continues because
extra heat has been retained.
15. When baking is complete, unplug the power cord from electric outlet. Unlock and lift the top lid
to expose the baking plates and allow unit to cool.
WARNING! ALWAYS UNPLUG UNIT WHEN COOKING IS FINISHED. OTHERWISE,
THE TREAT MAKER WILL CONTINUE TO HEAT UNTIL UNIT IS UNPLUGGED.
WARNING: Do not remove or change the baking plates while the Treat Maker is hot. Do not
clean inner body or baking plates until Treat Baker is fully cooled.

10
User Maintenance Instructions
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it
yourself. Contact a qualified appliance repair technician if the product requires servicing.
Care & Cleaning Instructions
CAUTION: Unplug from electrical outlet and allow to cool thoroughly before cleaning.
1. The Treat Maker body does not disassemble for cleaning.
2. Allow unit and baking plates to cool fully. Following the detailed instructions provided in
the “Before Using for the First Time” section of this instruction manual, remove baking plates.
WARNING: Use both hands to ensure that the upper baking plate does not fall onto
the Treat Maker during removal.
3. Never immerse appliance in water or other liquids. Never place the Treat Maker in dishwasher.
4. Brush baking plates with a clean, soft pastry brush or cloth.
5. To condition baking plates: Brush a generous coat of vegetable oil onto each of the lower and
upper baking plate cake cavities. Spread oil with an absorbent kitchen towel and wipe off any
excess oil. After a time, if baked treats show signs of sticking, recondition as needed.
6. Carefully follow suggested cleaning procedures below. To protect the premium quality
non-stick surfaces, use only plastic, nylon or wooden utensils.
7. To remove any batter baked onto the baking plates, pour a small amount of cooking oil onto
the hardened batter. Allow to set for 5 minutes, then wipe softened batter off with a paper
towel or soft cloth. Remove stubborn stains with a plastic mesh puff or pad. A clean round
kitchen brush or a toothbrush works well to remove baked-on batter from the cavities.
For best results, use only products with directions stating they are safe for cleaning non-stick
cooking surfaces. Do not use steel wool or coarse scouring pads.
8. The exterior finish should be cleaned with a non-abrasive cleaner and a soft, damp cloth.
Dry thoroughly.
9. Assemble clean upper and lower baking plates before storing. See “Before Using for
the First Time” section in this instruction manual for a complete description.
Storing Instructions
1. Make sure unit is unplugged and fully cooled.
2. Always store the Treat Maker with 2 matching upper and lower baking plates properly
assembled and locked into position.
3. Close the Treat Maker. Fold the handle latch over the handle to lock.
4. Use the cord wrap on the bottom of the Treat Maker. (See Figure 7.)
Figure 7
Figure 8
5. Do not put any stress on cord where it enters unit, as this could cause cord to fray and break.
6. Store Treat Baker in its box or stand unit on its end for easy and compact storage.
(See Figure 8.)
