CONSEJOS PARA UN RENDIMIENTO ÓPTIMO DEL APARATO
Para un buen rendimiento, la distancia mínima desde una pared u objetos debe ser
de 50 cm.
Asegúrese de que, mientras esté en funcionamiento, el agua en el tanque de agua no
exceda el nivel MÁX y no caiga por debajo de MIN.
Mantenga limpios los filtros. En condiciones normales, los filtros solo deben limpiarse
una vez cada tres semanas (aproximadamente).
Dado que los filtros eliminan las partículas en el aire, puede ser necesaria una
limpieza másfrecuente, dependiendo de la calidad del aire.

CÓMO FUNCIONAN LOS ENFRIADORES DE AIRE EVAPORATIVOS
El enfriador de aire enfría el aire por evaporación. Cuando el agua se evapora en el aire,
el resultado es una mezcla de moléculas de aire y agua. Este cambio químico requiere
calor que se toma de las moléculas de agua, lo que resulta en un efecto de enfriamiento
puntual.
- La humedad relativa recomendada para un funcionamiento óptimo es del 60% o inferior.
Un clima más seco permite un enfriamiento más notable.
- El enfriador por aire evaporativo no debe usarse en espacios cerrados o sellados.
Tampoco en espacios con todo abierto con demasiada ventilación.

DIAGRAMA
INSTALACIÓN
Esta unidad se puede mover fácilmente de una habitación a otra. Mientras mueve la
unidad, tengaen cuenta que siempre debe mantenerse en posición vertical y luego

PANEL DE CONTROL
OPERACIÓN
Presione para encender / apagar el enfriador de aire.
Presione para cambiar la velocidad del ventilador entre baja, media y alta.

panel de visualización frontal.
Presione para activar el enfriamiento por evaporación. Asegúrese de que
el nivel del agua sea suficiente para la operación. Cuando esta función no
está activada, la unidad funcionará como un ventilador / purificador de
aire.
MIENTRAS LA UNIDAD ESTÁ EN FUNCIONAMIENTO: Presione

se puede ajustar manualmente. El símbolo Swing se iluminará cuando la

CONTROL REMOTO
El control remoto le permite controlar las mismas funciones que el panel de control desde
una distancia de hasta 6 metros. El control remoto debe apuntar hacia el receptor en la
parte delantera del enfriador de aire.

ATENCIÓN:
•No mezcle pilas viejas y nuevas o diferentes tipos de baterías.
•Si no se usa durante un período prolongado, se deben quitar las
baterías.

FUNCIÓN ENFRIAMIENTO / HUMIFICADOR
Antes de activar la función de enfriamiento o humificador, debe haber agua en el tanque.
El aparato se puede usar sin agua siempre y cuando solamente se use el modo aire.
Para llenar el tanque, abrir la tapa en la parte trasera del aparato y llene el tanque de
agua lentamente. Después cerrar la tapa.
Solo usar agua limpia del grifo y no llenar más allá del nivel máximo.
También se pueden insertar cubos de hielo en el tanque superior para enfriar el agua a
medida que circula.
Nota: Es completamente normal y nada peligroso si nota un ligero olor las primeras veces
de uso. A medida que lo va usando, el olor va desapareciendo.
LIMPIEZA DE LA SUPERFICIE

LIMPIEZA DEL TANQUE DE AGUA
•Desenchufe el aparato y luego retire los tornillos que aseguran el marco del filtro trasero.
•Levante los marcos del filtro para retirarlos de la unidad.
•Drene el tanque quitando el tapón en la parte inferior trasera del tanque.
•Con un paño (humedecido con un detergente neutro), limpie el tanque de agua y
enjuáguelocon agua.
•Recomendamos vaciar el tanque y rellenarlo con agua fresca si el agua ha estado en
eltanque por un período prolongado de tiempo.
MANTENIMIENTO Y CAMBIO DE LAS ALMOHADILLAS DE FILTRO HONEYCOMB
El aparato se suministra con un conjunto de almohadillas de enfriamiento / filtros
Honeycomb. La frecuencia de limpieza de los filtros depende de las condiciones locales
del aire y el agua. En áreas donde el contenido mineral del agua es alto (agua dura), se
pueden acumular depósitos minerales en el filtro y restringir el flujo de aire. Si quedan
depósitos minerales en las almohadillas, el filtro debe retirarse y lavarse con agua.
Recomendamos limpiar el filtro Honeycomb al menos cada dos meses, según sus
necesidades.
Para obtener mejores resultados, permita que el filtro se seque después de cada uso,
apagando la función de enfriamiento durante 15 minutos (con el tanque de agua vacío)
antes de apagar la unidad.
Desenchufe el cable de alimentación, luego desenrosque los tornillos que sujetan los
marcos del filtro en su posición. Retire los marcos del filtro del aparato y saque el filtro del
marco. Con un detergente neutro y un cepillo suave, frote el filtro, limpie con agua y seque.
No sumergir en agua.
MANTENIMIENTO DE FIN DE TEMPORADA

TIPS FOR OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE OF THE DEVICE

HOW EVAPORATIVE AIR COOLERS WORK
The air cooler cools the air by means of evaporation. When water evaporates into the air,
the result is a mixture of air and water molecules. This chemical change requires heat
which is taken from the water molecules, resulting in a spot cooling effect.
- The recommended relative humidity for optimal operation is 60% or less.
A drier climate allows for more noticeable cooling.
- The evaporative air cooler should not be used in enclosed or sealed spaces.
Nor in spaces with everything open with too much ventilation.

The cooler should be located near a single open window and everything else
closed. The opening of the window must be just enough to channel the air that enters
from the outside towards the appliance, as far as possible.

INSTALLATION
This unit can be easily moved from room to room. While moving the unit, keep in mind that it
should always be kept upright and then placed on a flat surface.
• Remove any packaging, keeping the air cooler upright.
• Make sure all parts are present and the unit is assembled correctly.
• WATER TANK: Fill the water tank through the rear cover, making sure that the water tank does
not exceed the MAX level.
• Make sure the filters are inserted correctly.
• Connect the plug to an outlet and then press the power button.

CONTROL PANEL
OPERATION
Press to turn the air cooler On / Off
Press to change the fan speed between low, medium and high. The
currentlyselected fan speed will be illuminated on the front display panel.
Press to activate the evaporative cooling. Ensure that the water level is
sufficient for operation. When this function is not turned on the unit will
operate as a fan /air purifier.
WHILE THE UNIT IS RUNNING: Repeatedly press the timer button to
select in howmany hours the unit should turn off, upto a maximum of 12
hours.
Press to change the Sleep: The fan speed will decrease by 1 level every
half hourand then remain at low.
Press to activate the swing mode. The airflow will gently swing from left to
right. The vertical direction of the airflow can be adjusted manually.
The Swing symbol will be illuminated when the function is active.
Press again to turn it off.

REMOTE CONTROL
The remote control enables you to control all the same functions
as the control panel from a distance of upto 6 metres. The
remote control should be pointed towards the receiver on the
front of the air cooler.
ATTENTION:
Do not mix old and new or different types of batteries
If not in use for a prolonged period the batteries should be
removed.
Please note: Design of the remote may vary.
COOLING / HUMIDIFIER FUNCTION
Before activating the cooling or humidifying function, there must be water in the tank.
The appliance can be used without water as long as only the air mode is used.
To fill the tank, open the lid on the back of the appliance and fill the tank with water slowly. Then
close the lid.
Only use clean tap water and do not fill beyondthe maximum level.
Ice cubes can also be inserted into the upper tank to cool the water as it circulates.
Note: It is completely normal and nothing dangerous if you notice a slight odor the first fewtimes
of use. As you use it, the smell disappears.

• Disconnect from the electrical current before cleaning the device.
• Clean the plastic casing with a soft, damp cloth or feather duster.
• Do not use chemical or abrasive products as they can cause irreversible damage.
• Make sure that no water enters the control panel.

WATER TANK CLEANING
- Unplug the appliance and then remove the screws that secure the rear filter frame.
- Lift the filter frames to remove them from the unit.
- Drain the tank by removing the plug at the bottom rear of the tank.
- With a cloth (moistened with a neutral detergent), clean the water tank and rinse it with water.
- We recommend emptying the tank and refilling it with fresh water if the water has been in the
tank for a period length of time.
MAINTENANCE AND CHANGE OF HONEYCOMB FILTER PADS
The appliance is supplied with a set of honeycomb cooling pads/filters. Filter cleaning frequency
depends on local air and water conditions. In areas where the mineral content of the water is high
(hard water), mineral deposits can build up on the filter and restrict airflow. If mineral deposits
remain on the pads, the filter should be removed and washed with water. We recommend
cleaning the Honeycomb filter at least every two months, depending on your needs.
For best results, allow the filter to dry after each use by turning off the cool down function for 15
minutes (with an empty water tank) before turning the unit off.
Unplug the power cord, then unscrew the screws that hold the
filter frames in position. Remove the filter frames from the appliance and remove the filter from
the frame. With a neutral detergent and a soft brush, rub the filter, clean with water and dry.
Do not submerge in water.
END OF SEASON MAINTENANCE
- Empty the tank and clean it with warm soapy water.
- Dry the tank and clean the Honeycomb pads.
- Store any ice packs you may use in the water tank
- Cover the unit and keep it in a dry place.
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE
Before storing the appliance until the following summer season or use,
clean the water tank and all the filters well.
Once the filters are clean, let them dry completely.
Do not store the device with wet filters as they can breed harmful particles
to health by not perspiring well and an annoying musty smell.
