SAFETY
Indicates an imminently hazardous situation that, if not avoided, WILL result in
DEATH OR VERYSERIOUS INJURY.
Indicates an imminently hazardous situation that, if not avoided, COULD result
in DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY.
Indicates an imminently hazardous situation that, if not avoided, MAY result in
MINORINJURY.
Identifies special instructions or procedures that, if not strictly observed, could
result in damage to, or destruction of the machine, attachments or the
enviroment.
NOTE: Identifies points of particular interest for more efficient or convienient operation
or repair. (SG-1)

A safe and careful operator is the best operator. Safety is of primary importance to the
manufacturerandshouldbeto the owner /operator. Most accidentscan be avoided by
beingawareof yourequipment,yoursurroundings, andobservingcertainprecautions.

protecttheoperatorand bystandersfrominjuryor death. Read andunderstandthese
SafetyMessagesbeforeassembling,operatingor servicing this mower. This equipment
shouldonlybeoperated bythosepersonswho have readtheManual,who are responsible
andtrained,andwho know howtodososafely and responsibly.
TheSafetyAlertSymbol combined with aSignalWord,asseen below, is used
throughoutthismanual andondecalswhich areattachedtothe equipment. The
SafetyAlertSymbolmeans: “ATTENTION! BECOMEALERT! YOUR SAFETY
IS INVOLVED!” Thesymbolandsignalword are intended towarntheowner/
operatorofimpendinghazards and the degreeofpossibleinjurywhen operating
thisequipment.
Practice all usual and customary safe working precautions and
above all -- remember safety is up to YOU! Only YOU can
prevent serious injury or death from unsafe practices.
