Connecting to Power Source
Connect the included AC adapter to the DC jack located on the back of the unit and connect the other
end to a working wall outlet.

Display
Backup Battery
Your new Timex Clock includes a built-in battery backup system that will maintain the time and
alarm settings during a temporary power interruption. Remove the battery pull tab located on the
back of the unit. When the Low Backup Battery Icon glows on the display, it is time to the
replace the backup battery.
To silence a sounding alarm and reset it come on the next day at the same
time, press and hold the Snooze/Night Light Button for 2 seconds.

Setting and Using A Sound Alarm

Press and hold Alarm Button until the display flashes and one beep sounds. Release the button.

Press and release the Minus Button (-) as needed to adjust the hour.
Press and release the Plus Button (+) as needed to adjust the minute.
NOTE: The PM indicator will light on the display when the hour is set for PM. There is no AM indicator.
Press and release the Alarm Button and two beeps sound to confirm
settings. The alarm icon will appear on the clock display to confirm the
alarm is armed.
Press and release the Snooze/Night Light Button when the alarm sounds to
silence it for 9 minutes. Snooze can be used several times during an alarm cycle.
SNOOZING THE ALARM
1. Keep unit connected to AC power when replacing
the battery, or you will lose settings.
2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to open the battery
backup compartment door located on the back of
the unit.
3. Remove exhausted battery and replace with a
fresh CR-2450 battery, making sure the ‘+’ side is
facing up.
4. Replace the battery compartment door. Do not
overtighten the screw.

Tip: Press Alarm Button while in Time Set Mode to toggle between 12/24 hour display.
Press the Time Set Button to finish. Two beep
sounds to confirm settings.
Product Care
• A protective film is attached to the front of the display. It can be removed by peeling it off.
• Place the unit on a level surface away from sources of direct sunlight or excessive heat.
• Protect your furniture when placing your unit on a natural wood and lacquered finish. A cloth or
other protective material should be placed between it and the furniture.

To Arm: Press and release the Alarm Button twice. The alarm icon will appear on the clock display.
To Disarm: Press and release the Alarm Button twice. The alarm icon will disappear from the display.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please heed all warnings, read and follow all instructions and keep these instructions handy for future
reference.
1. Do not use this product near water.
2. Unplug unit and clean only with damp cloth. Stronger cleaning agents, such as Benzene, thinner or
similar materials can damage the surface of the unit.
3. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
4. Heat – This product should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves
or other appliances (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
5. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
6. Unplug this product during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
7. Damage Requiring Service – This product should be serviced by qualified service personnel when:
- Plug has been damaged.
- Objects have fallen into or liquid has been spilled into the enclosure.
- The unit has been exposed to rain. The unit has been dropped or the enclosure damaged.
- The unit exhibits a marked change in performance or does not operate normally.
8. No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on this product.
9. Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal. Many electronics retailers
now recycle batteries and other electronic components at no charge. To find a drop-off location near

10. This product is suitable for use in tropical and/or moderate climates.

- To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this product to rain or moisture.
- Do not dispose of batteries in the household trash or fire.
- The mains plug of power adaptor is used as the disconnect device, it shall remain readily operable.

Limited 90 Day Warranty Information
Timex Audio Products, a division of SDI Technologies Inc. (hereafter referred to as SDI), warrants this
product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal use and conditions, for a
period of ninety (90) days from the date of original purchase.
Should this product fail to function in a satisfactory manner, it is best to first return it to the store where it
was originally purchased. Should this fail to resolve the matter and service still be required by reason of
any defect or malfunction during the warranty period, SDI will repair or, at its discretion, replace this
product without charge. This decision is subject to verification of the defect or malfunction upon delivery
of this product to the Factory Service Center authorized by Customer Service.
If service is required, please visit timexaudio.com/support for more information. A copy of the sales receipt
is required to validate in-warranty coverage.
Disclaimer of Warranty
NOTE: This warranty is valid only if the product is used for the purpose for which it was designed. It does
not cover (i) products which have been damaged by negligence or willful actions, misuse or accident, or
which have been modified or repaired by unauthorized persons; (ii) cracked or broken cabinets, or units
damaged by excessive heat; (iii) damage to digital media players, CD’s or tape cassettes (if applicable);
(iv) the cost of shipping this product to the Factory Service Center and its return to the owner.
This warranty is valid only in the United States of America and does not extend to owners of the product
other than to the original purchaser. In no event will SDI or any of its affiliates, contractors, resellers, their
officers, directors,shareholders, members or agents be liable to you or any third party for any
consequential or incidental damages, any lost profits, actual, exemplary or punitive damages. (Some
states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of consequential damages, so these
restrictions may not apply to you.) This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have
other rights which vary from state to state.
Your acknowledgment and agreement to fully and completely abide by the above mentioned disclaimer of
warranty is contractually binding to you upon your transfer of currency (money order, cashier's check, or
credit card) for purchase of your SDI product.

Bedtime Alarm (Light Only) Sleep Timer

Press and hold Bedtime Button until the display flashes and one beep sounds.
Release the button.

Press Bedtime Button to confirm the bedtime.

Press and release the Minus Button or Plus Button to adjust brightness to High, Medium, or Low.
Press Bedtime Button to confirm and activate settings and two beeps sound. The moon icon will
appear on the display.
TURNING BEDTIME OFF
To turn off the red light, hold down the Snooze/Night Light Button for 2 seconds.
Note: The red light will automatically shut off when a sound alarm is triggered.
Use the Bedtime Button to set a bedtime alarm. For example, if you set a
bedtime alarm for 9PM, the unit will glow red at 9PM each night to signal that
it’s time to go to sleep. To set a bedtime alarm:
Nap Timer

Press and hold Wake Light Button until the display flashes and one beep
sounds. Release the button.

Press and release the Minus Button (-) as needed to adjust the hour.
Press and release the Plus Button (+) as needed to adjust the minute.
Press Wake Light Button to confirm the bedtime.
NOTE: The PM indicator will light on the display when the hour is set for PM. There is no AM indicator.
Press and release the Minus Button or Plus Button to adjust brightness to High, Medium, or Low.
Press Wake Light Button and two beeps sound to confirm and activate settings. The sun icon will
appear on the display.
When a Wake Light is set, 2 LED modes will show kids when it’s almost time
to wake (yellow) and ready to start the day (green). To set a Wake Light:
TURNING WAKE LIGHT OFF
To turn off the yellow or green light, hold down the Snooze/Night Light Button for 2 seconds.
Note: The green light will automatically shut off one hour after the wake time.
Sounds
Press the Sound Button to turn sound therapy ON. Press repeatedly to cycle through sounds: Nature,
Rain, or White Noise.
- Use the +/- Buttons to adjust the volume.
- Press and hold the Sound Button or Snooze/Night Light for 2 seconds to turn sound therapy OFF.
You can set a sleep timer that will automatically shut off nature sounds after a certain duration of time.
To set a Sleep Timer:
While nature sounds are active, press the Sleep Button repeatedly to select a sleep duration:
90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 minutes or OFF.
The nature sound will automatically shut off once the sleep period is over.
- Press the Sleep Button to check the remaining time before the nature sounds switch off.
- Press and hold the Snooze/Night Light Button for over 2 seconds to cancel this function.
You can set a nap timer that will wake to the alarm buzzer. To set a Nap Timer:
While nature sounds are NOT active, press the Timer Button repeatedly to select a nap duration:
90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 minutes or OFF.
- When the nap is finished, the buzzer sound will play and the green light will display. Tap the
Snooze/Night Light Button once to snooze for 9 minutes.
- To cancel the snooze at any time or to turn off the nap timer alarm or green light, press the Timer
Button or hold down the Snooze/Night Light Button for 2 seconds.
Use the slider on the bottom of the clock to lock the clock and prevent changes.
NIght Light
Display Dimmer
There are 4 brightness levels for the front clock display. To adjust the brightness, press the Time Set
Button to cycle through the options: High, Medium, Low, and OFF
To toggle the warm white color night light on or off, press the Snooze/Night Light Button.
Press the Snooze/Night Light Button repeatedly to cycle through the setting options:
High, Medium, Low, or OFF.
ARMING/DISARMING THE BEDTIME ALARM
To Arm: Press and release the Bedtime Button twice. The moon icon will appear on the clock display.
To Disarm: Press and release the Bedtime Button twice. The moon icon will disappear from the display.
ARMING/DISARMING THE WAKE LIGHT
To Arm: Press and release the Wake Light Button twice. The sun icon will appear on the clock display.
To Disarm: Press and release Wake Light Button twice. The sun icon will disappear from the display. Lock Mode prevents changes to Time Setting, deactivating Sound Alarm, Bedtime mode, and Wake
Light mode. Sounds, Nap Timer and Sleep Timer will also be inactive. You can still control the Display
Dimmer and Night Light.
WARNING
• Do not ingest the battery, Chemical Burn Hazard. This product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the
coin/button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to
death.
• Keep new and used batteries away from children. If the battery compartment does not close securely,
stop using the product and keep it away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed
or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.”
• CAUTION - RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS REPLACED BY AN INCORRECT TYPE. REPLACE
ONLY WITH THE SAME OR EQUIVALENT TYPE. DISPOSE OF USED BATTERIES ACCORDING TO
THE INSTRUCTIONS.
