Safety warnings
1. Never allow children, persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge or people unfamiliar with these instructions
to use the machine, local regulations may restrict the
age of the operator.
2. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
3. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply and
allow it to cool down before cleaning, maintenance,
storage and transportation.
4. Protect the electrical parts against moisture. Do not
immerse such parts in water or other liquids to avoid
electrical shock. Never hold the product under running
water. Please read the instructions provided in the
chapter “Care and Maintenance”.
5. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the product.
6. If an extension cord is used, make sure the extension
cord is specically designed for outdoor use and not
lighter than H05VV-F or H05RN-F, 3x1.5mm² and max
75m.

knowledge or people unfamiliar with these instructions
to use the machine, local regulations may restrict the

3. Keep in mind that the operator or user is responsible
for accidents or hazards occurring to other people or
their property.
Preparation
1. Obtain ear protection and safety glasses. Wear them
at all times while operating the product.
2. While operating the product always wear substantial
footwear and long trousers. Do not operate the product
when barefoot or wearing open sandals. Avoid wearing
clothing that is loose tting or that has hanging cords
or ties.
3. Operate the product in a recommended position and
only on a rm, level surface.
4. Do not operate the product on a paved or gravel
surface where ejected material could cause injury.

5. Before using, always visually inspect to see, that the
shredding means, shredding means bolts and other
fasteners are secure, the housing is undamaged and
that guards and screens are in place. Replace worn
or damaged components in sets to preserve balance.
Replace damaged or unreadable labels.
6. Before use check the supply and extension cord
for signs of damage or aging. If the cord becomes
damaged during use, disconnect the cord from the
supply immediately. DO NOT TOUCH THE CORD
BEFORE DISCONNECTING THE SUPPLY. Do not
use the product if the cord is damaged or worn.
7. Never operate the product while people, especially
children, or pets are nearby.
Operation
1. Do not connect a damaged cord to the supply or touch
a damaged cord before it is disconnected from the
supply for the reason that damaged cords can lead to
contact with live parts.
2. Before starting the product, make certain that the
feeding chamber is empty.
3. Keep your face and body away from the feed intake
opening.
4. Do not allow hands or any other part of the body or
clothing inside the feeding chamber, discharge chute,
or near any moving part.
5. Keep proper balance and footing at all times. Do not
overreach. Never stand at a higher level than the base
of the product when feeding material into it.
6. Always be sure of your footing on slopes.
7. Walk, never run during product transportation.
8. Always stand clear of the discharge zone when
operating this product.

Safety warnings
9. When feeding material into the product be extremely
careful that pieces of metal, rocks, bottles, cans or
other foreign objects are not included.
10. If the cutting mechanism strikes any foreign objects or
if the product should start making any unusual noise
or vibration, immediately shut off the power source
and allow the product to stop. Disconnect the product
from the supply and take the following steps before
restarting and operating the product:
- inspect for damage;
- replace or repair any damaged parts;
- check for and tighten any loose parts.
11. Do not allow processed material to build up in the
discharge zone; this may prevent proper discharge
and can result in kickback of material through the feed
intake opening.
12. If the product becomes clogged, shut-off the power
source and disconnect the product from supply before
cleaning debris.
13. Never operate the product with defective guards or
shields, or without safety devices, for example debris
collector in place.
14. Keep the power source clean of debris and other
accumulations to prevent damage to the power source
or possible re.
15. Do not transport this product while the power source
is running.
16. Stop the product, and remove plug from the socket.
Make sure that all moving parts have come to a
complete stop
- whenever you leave the product,
- before clearing blockages or unclogging chute,
- before checking, cleaning or working on the product,

17. Do not tilt the product while the power source is
running.
18. Keep extension cords away from moving parts to avoid
damages to the cords which can lead to contact with
live parts.
Maintenance and storage
1. When the product is stopped for servicing, inspection,
or storage, or to change an accessory, shut off the
power source, disconnect the product from the supply
and make sure that all moving parts are come to a
complete stop. Allow the product to cool before making
any inspections, adjustments, etc. Maintain the product
with care and keep it clean.
2. Improper maintenance will lead to malfunction/failure
of the product.
3. Inspect and maintain the product regularly. Keep all
nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure the product is in
safe working condition.
4. Be careful during adjustment of the product to prevent
entrapment of the ngers between moving blades and
xed parts of the product.
5. When servicing the shredding means be aware that,
even though the power source is switched off due to
the interlock feature of the cover, the shredding means
can still be moved.
6. Replace worn or damaged parts for safety. Use only
genuine replacement parts and accessories.
7. Wear strong work gloves when removing and re-
assembling the cutting blade.

8. Have the product repaired only by an authorised

Additional safety instructions for units with
bagging attachments
1. Switch the product off before attaching or removing
the collection bag.
Recommendations
1. The product should be supplied via a residual current
device (RCD) with a tripping current of not more than
30 mA.
2. Avoid using the product in bad weather conditions
especially when there is a risk of lightning.
3. Carry the product by the handle with the motor off.
Handling the product properly reduces the possibility
of personal injury.
4. If the product starts to vibrate abnormally, check it
immediately. Excessive vibration can cause injury.
5. Always ensure the product is fully assembled before

Unpacking
1. Unpack all parts and lay them on a at, stable surface.

Assembly
WARNING! The product must be fully assembled before operation!
Do not use a product that is only partly assembled or assembled with
damaged parts!
Follow the assembly instructions step-by-step and use the pictures
provided as a visual guide to easily assemble the product!
Do not connect the product to power supply before it is completely
assembled!
Always wear protective gloves during assembly! Beware of sharp
edges on the product.
NOTE: Take care of small parts that are removed during assembly or
when making adjustments. Keep them secure to avoid loss.
Frame / wheels assembly
1. Place cardboard or an old blanket on oor, then carefully place the main unit
(3) upside down.
2. Align and insert the frame (11) into the two supports (3a) to the end (Fig. 1,
step 1). Ensure that the screw holes between the frame (11) and the support
(3a) are well aligned. Use a rubber mallet if necessary.
3. Secure the connections with the screws (3b) (Fig. 1, step 2). Make sure that
the screw head is ush with the housing of the supports (3a).
4. Align the wheel axle (12) with the holes on the frame (11) and insert it through
both sides (Fig. 1, step 3). Ensure that the wheel axle (12) is centred.

5. Align and place one wheel (13) onto the wheel axle (12) (Fig. 2, step 1).
6. Pass the washer (13b) through the wheel axle (12) (Fig. 2, step 2).
7. Secure the connection by passing R-clip (13c) through the hole of wheel axle
(12) (Fig. 2, step 3).

8. Attach the cover (13a) to the wheel (13). Make sure that the latches of the
cover (13a) are correctly engaged in the slots of the wheel (13) (Fig. 2, step
4). Use a rubber mallet to secure the covers all the way.

9. Repeat the above steps (from 5 to 8) on the other wheel (13). Ensure that
wheels (13) can rotate smoothly on the wheel axle (12) afterward.
NOTE: Do not damage any part while using the rubber mallet. Put a
piece of fabric over the covers (13a), if necessary. Tap slightly at rst.
After assembly, the covers (13a) cannot be easily removed.
WARNING! Do not attempt to remove the covers (13a) and disassemble
the wheels (13) once they are assembled!
10. Carefully place the product on its wheels (13) and ensure that wheels (13)
can rotate smoothly.
Collection bag
1. Open the collection bag (5) fully and
place it under the discharge chute
(20).
2. Place the two hanging belts (5a) over
the kooks (3c) on the main unit (3)
(Fig. 3).

Before you start
WARNING! Always operate the product with its collection bag (5)
attached to protect yourself against ying debris and to avoid injuries!
Do not use this product with a damaged collection bag (5) or without
one at all!
Connection to power supply
For safety reasons the product is equipped with a short power cord (9). Do not
connect the product directly to the power supply using this power cord. A proper
extension cord is required for operation. Observe the technical requirements for
this product when purchasing an extension cord.
NOTE: For your safety, it is required that the plug attached to this
product is always connected to an extension cord! The extension cord
must be suitable for outdoor use with sockets protected against water
splashing! Ensure the extension cord is of the proper size and type for
your product (≥ 1.5 mm²)!
Always use a residual current supply (RCD) protected supply.
1. Double the extension cord back, about 30 cm
from the end and lead the loop through the slots
of cord retainer (10) (Fig. 4).
2. Pull it over the hook of cord retainer (10) and
gently tug on the cord to ensure that it is rmly
secured (Fig. 5).
3. Connect the power cord (9) to the socket of the
extension cord (Fig. 6).
4. Make sure the on/off switch (7) is not stayed at
ON position.

Connection to power supply
WARNING! Check the voltage! The voltage must comply with the
information on the rating label!
If using an extension cord it must be suitable for outdoor use with
sockets protected against water splashing.
Ensure the extension cord is of the proper size and type for your
product:
• 1.5 mm² for up to 75 m.
• 2.5 mm² for up to 100 m.
6. Your product is now ready to be used.

Product functions / Operation
Intended use
This electric impact shredder MIS2400 is designated with a rated power input of
2400 Watts.
The product is designed for cutting of brous and woody garden waste for
composting.
The product is not intended for shredding pieces of metal, rocks, bottles, cans,
etc. or soft waste such as kitchen rubbish.
For safety reasons it is essential to read the entire instruction manual before rst
operation and to observe all the instructions therein.
This product is intended for private domestic use only, not for any commercial
trade use. It must not be used for any purposes other than those described.
Switching on/off
This product can only be operated in continuous
mode.
1. Turn the on/off switch (7) clockwise to
switch the product on (Fig. 7).
2. Turn the on/off switch (7) anti-clockwise to
switch the product off.

NOTE: The on/off switch (7) will automatically draw back to its original
position after release.
WARNING! The shredding means will continue to rotate for some time
even after the motor has been switched off!
Wait until they come to a complete stop before touching the product!
General operation
1. Check the product, its power cord and plug as well as accessories for damage
before each use. Do not use the product if it is damaged or shows wear.
Take care of any problem you nd or have the product checked by qualied
specialist.
