4.2 Description
The co sole is a device for the mo itori g of the level of probes a d for sig alli g the relative ta k alarms.
32 probes ca be supported, 16 o -board (8 with the additio of a MagDirect ,Max 2 MagDirect), 32 DVD
(Fuel Quality Se sors, o e for each ta k), 4 o board relays, 6 i puts o board, a d a exter al expa sio
module that ca carry up to 4 expa sio cards. Each expa sio card supports 8 relay outputs, 8 Digital
I puts or 4-20mA. With a combi atio of these cards the system ca support 32 relays a d 0 i puts, 32
i puts a d 0 relays, a d combi atio s of both with modularity of 8.
The co sole ca be i terfaced with the FCC/POS o the statio via either serial or Ether et.
The co sole is equipped with a resistive type touch scree , so it is possible to use it with fi gers (eve with
gloves), special pe s a d likewise. It required to co tact a d apply a pressure to use it.

NTENDED USE AND REASONABLY FORESEEABLE MISUSE
The i te ded use for the MAGLINK LX co sole is o ly for that described i this ma ual.
The co sole is used for mo itori g the level of the probes i stalled i the ta ks.
The co sole must be i stalled i a safe area a d i cludes a I tri sic safety barrier, 2 cha els (BRA-2SIP)
that serve to co ect the XMT-SI-485 probes

The followi g table lists the steps ecessary to switch o the co sole:

3 Co ect the corporate etwork cable, if required
4 Press the power butto ON (1)
Whe switched o if the co sole is ot co figured it will emit a alarm whe it does ot commu icate with
a y ta k. Press the red arrows up a d dow u til you reach the page "ALARM LOG" a d press the ACK
butto to sile ce the alarm.
For a y cha ges to be made to the co sole co figuratio , refer to the ma ual "Co figuri g the Co sole.”
The followi g table lists the steps ecessary to switch off the co sole:

2 Press the "Off" butto withi the INFO page
3 Wait for the scree to tur black
4 Press the power OFF (0) butto o the co sole
IMPORTANT: If the co sole is switched OFF simply removi g power the SD card might be
damaged a d the co sole might ot restart. If this happe a ew SD card is eeded a d the
image of the Operati g System a d applicatio should be loaded, a d at last the backup
restore i order to have the previous saved co figuratio
