14.12 Remote activation
Ifthe answeringmachine is OFF, the user can
wake-up the device remotely by dialingthe
number and wait for 12rings.
The machine will answer with OGM2.
Enter the remote code and followthe instructions
explained in chapter 14.11.
14.13Memory Full
There are 2kinds ofMemory Full situations.
1. DuringMemo/OGM/ICM recording, the memo-
ry is full.
2. The memory is full and somebody is tryingto
record amessage.
The unit shall play amessage indicatingthe mem-
ory is full.
When OGM 1 was selected, the device will switch
automatically to OGM2(see chapter 14.2).

Pull out and rotate the wall mountinghook(25).
Put it backin position.
Measure and markthe wall mountinglocations
(28).
Drill holes, fit wall plugs and screwin screws.
The cable ofthe telephone can be fixed in the slot
(30) on the backside ofthe phone dependingon
the telephone connection position.
Mount the telephone on the screws.

17 Warranty
17.1 Warranty period
The Topcomunits have a24-month warranty pe-
riod. The warranty period starts on the day the
newunit is purchased. The warranty on batteries
is limited to 6 months after purchase. Consuma-
bles or defects causinganegligible effect on op-
eration or value ofthe equipment are not covered.
The warranty has to be proven by presentation of
the original purchase receipt, on which the date of
purchase and the unit-model are indicated.
17.2 Warranty handling
Afaulty unit needs to be returned to aTopcom
service centre includingavalid purchase note.
Ifthe unit develops afault duringthe warranty pe-
riod, Topcomor its officially appointed service
centre will repair any defects caused by material
or manufacturingfaults free ofcharge.
Topcomwill at its discretion fulfil its warranty obli-
gations by either repairingor exchangingthe
faulty units or parts ofthe faulty units. In case of
replacement, colour and model can be different
fromthe original purchased unit.
The initial purchase date shall determine the start
ofthe warranty period. The warranty period is not
extended ifthe unit is exchanged or repaired by
Topcomor its appointed service centres.
17.3Warranty exclusions
Damage or defects caused by incorrect treatment
or operation and damage resultingfromuse of
non-original parts or accessories not recommend-
ed by Topcomare not covered by the warranty.
Topcomcordless phones are designed to work
with rechargeable batteries only. The damage
caused by the use ofnon-rechargeable batteries
is not covered under warranty.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by
outside factors, such as lightning, water and fire,
nor any damage caused duringtransportation.
No warranty can be claimed ifthe serial number
on the units has been changed, removed or ren-
dered illegible.
Any warranty claims will be invalid ifthe unit has
been repaired, altered or modified by the buyer or
by unqualified, non-officially appointed Topcom
service centres.
