behavior,resultinginre,explosion,orriskof
injury.
3.Iftheinverterisdamaged,contactanAuthorized
ServiceDealertoreplaceit.
III.Operation
1.Chargethebatterypackwithonlythebattery
chargerspeciedbyToro.Achargersuitablefor
1typeofbatterypackmaycreateariskofre
whenusedwithanotherbatterypack.
2.Usetheinverterinadry,well-ventilatedarea
only.Donotoperatetheinverterifitiswetor
nearammablematerials.
3.Donotgroundtheneutraloftheinverter.
4.Donotperformmaintenanceorservice
appliancesthatareconnectedtotheinverter.
Disconnectanyappliancesfromtheinverter
whentheyaredonecharging.
5.Followalloperationinstructionsanddonot
usethebatterypackorinverteroutsideofthe
temperaturerangespeciedintheinstructions.
Otherwise,youmaydamagethebatterypackor
inverterandincreasetheriskofre.
6.Underabusiveconditions,thebatterypackmay
ejectliquid;avoidcontact.Ifyouaccidently
comeintocontactwiththeliquid,ushwith
water.Iftheliquidcontactsyoureyes,seek
medicalhelp.Liquidejectedfromthebattery
packmaycauseirritationorburns.
7.Donotexposeabatterypackortooltoreor

InstallingtheBattery
1.Ensurethattheventsonthebatteryandinverter
areclearofanydustanddebris(Figure4).
2.Disconnectanydevicesattachedtotheinverter.
3.Lineupthecavityinthebatterypackwiththe
tongueontheinverter(Figure4).
4.Slidethebatterypackintotheinverteruntilitis
fullyseated.
5.Toremovethebatterypack,turnthepoweroff,
thenpressdownthelatchbuttonandslidethe
batteryupandawayfromtheinverter.

Storage
Important:Storetheinverter,batterypack,and
chargeronlyintemperaturesthatarewithinthe
appropriaterange;refertoSpecications(page6).
Important:Ifyouarestoringtheinverterforthe
off-season,removethebatterypackfromthe
toolandchargethebatterypackuntil2or3LED
indicatorsturngreenonthebattery.Donotstore
afullychargedorfullydepletedbattery.When
youarereadytousetheinverteragain,charge
thebatterypackuntiltheleftindicatorlightturns
greenonthechargerorall4LEDindicatorsturn
greenonthebattery.
•Disconnecttheinverterfromthepowersupply(i.e.,
removethebatterypack)andcheckfordamage
afteruse.
•Cleanallforeignmaterialfromtheinverter.
•Donotstoretheinverterwiththebatterypack
installed.
•Whennotinuse,storetheinverter,batterypack,
andbatterychargeroutofthereachofchildren.
•Keeptheinverter,batterypack,andbattery

forRecycling
Important:Uponremoval,covertheterminalsof
thebatterypackwithheavy-dutyadhesivetape.
Donotattempttodestroyordisassemblethe
batterypackorremoveanyofitscomponents.
Lithium-ionbatterypackslabeledwiththe
Call2Recyclesealcanberecycledatany
participatingretailerorbatteryrecycling
facilityintheCall2Recycleprogram(US
andCanadaonly).Tolocateaparticipating
retailerorfacilityclosesttoyou,pleasecall

Ifyoucannotlocateaparticipatingretaileror
facilitynearby,orifyourrechargeablebattery

Troubleshooting
Performonlythestepsdescribedintheseinstructions.Allfurtherinspection,maintenance,andrepairwork

II.Preparación
1.Utiliceelinversorúnicamenteconlasbaterías
especícamenteindicadas.Elusodeotrostipos
debateríapuedecrearunriesgodelesiones
y/oincendio.
2.Noutilicebateríasoinversoresdebatería
dañadosomodicados.Podríanmostrarun
comportamientoimpredecibleconresultadode
incendio,explosiónoriesgodelesiones.
3.Sielinversorestádañado,póngaseencontacto
conunServicioTécnicoAutorizadopara
cambiarlo.
III.Operación
1.Carguelabateríaúnicamenteconelcargador
delabateríaespecicadoporToro.Uncargador
diseñadoparauntipodeterminadodebatería
puedecrearunriesgodeincendiosiseutiliza
conotrabatería.
2.Utiliceelinversorúnicamenteenunazonaseca
ybienventilada.Noutiliceelinversorsiestá
húmedo,nicercadematerialesinamables.
3.Noconecteatierraelneutrodelinversor.
4.Norealicetareasdemantenimientoorevisiónen
dispositivosconectadosalinversor.Desconecte
losdispositivosdelinversorcuandoterminen
decargar.
5.Sigatodaslasinstruccionesdeusoynoutilice
labateríaoelinversorfueradelintervalode
temperaturasespecicadoenlasinstrucciones.
Sino,puededañarlabateríaoelinversory
aumentarelriesgodeincendio.
6.Encondicionesabusivas,labateríapuede
expulsarlíquido;eviteelcontacto.Encasode
uncontactoaccidentalconellíquido,enjuague
conagua.Siellíquidoentraencontactocon
susojos,busqueayudamédica.Ellíquido
expulsadodelabateríapuedecausarirritación
oquemaduras.
7.Noexpongaunabateríaouncargadoralfuego
oatemperaturasexcesivas.Laexposiciónal
fuegooatemperaturassuperioresalos130°C
(265°F)puedecausarunaexplosión.
8.CUIDADO–unabateríamaltratadapuede
representarunriesgodeincendio,explosióno
quemaduraquímica.
•Nodesmontelabatería.
•Sustituyalabateríaúnicamenteporuna
bateríaTorogenuina;elusodeotrotipode
bateríapodríaprovocarunincendiooun

IV.Mantenimientoyalmacenamiento
1.Nodejequelosniñoslimpienomantenganel
inversordebatería.
2.Cuandolabateríanoestáenuso,debe
mantenersealejadadeobjetosmetálicoscomo
clips,monedas,llaves,clavosytornillosque
pudieranhacerunaconexiónentreunterminal
yotro.Uncortocircuitoentrelosterminales
delabateríapuedecausarquemadurasoun
incendio.
3.Nointenterepararlabateríaoelinversor
decorriente.HagaqueunServicioTécnico
Autorizadorealiceelmantenimientodela
bateríaodelinversordecorrienteusando
piezasderepuestoidénticasparamantenerel
niveldeseguridaddelproducto.
4.Compruebesilanormativalocalcontiene
algunainstrucciónespecialsobrelaeliminación
debaterías.

encajeporcompleto.
5.Pararetirarlabatería,apaguelacorriente,luego
presioneelbotóndeengancheydeslicela
bateríahaciaarribaparasepararladelinversor.
