HANDLING CAUTIONS
• Before connecting other components to this p ayer, be sure to turn them a off.
• Do not move the p ayer whi e a disc is being p ayed, or the disc may be scratched or broken, and the p ayer’s
interna parts may be damaged.
• Do not put a f ower vase fi ed with water or any sma meta objects on the p ayer.
• Be carefu not to put your hand into the disc tray.
• Do not p ace anything other than the disc in the disc tray.
• Exterior interference such as ightning and static e ectricity can affect norma operation of this p ayer.
If this occurs, turn the p ayer off and on again with the POWER button, or disconnect and then reconnect the
AC power cord to the AC power out et. The p ayer wi operate norma y.
• Be sure to remove the disc and turn off the p ayer after use.
• Disconnect the AC power cord from the AC out et when you don’t intend to use the p ayer for ong
periods of time.
• C ean the disc by wiping in a straight ine from the inside to the outside of the disc.
NOTES ON LOCATING
P ace the DVD video p ayer on a eve surface. Do not use it on a shaky or unstab e surface such as a
wobb ing tab e or inc ined stand. The oaded disc may become disa igned and damage the DVD video p ayer.
When you p ace this DVD video p ayer near a TV, radio, or VCR, the p ayback picture may become poor and
the sound may be distorted. In this case, p ace the DVD video p ayer away from the TV, radio, or VCR.
STORING DISCS
Do not store discs in a p ace subject to direct sun ight or near heat sources.
Do not store discs in p aces subject to moisture and dust such as a bathroom or near a humidifier.
Store discs vertica y in a case. Stacking or p acing objects on discs outside of their case may cause warping.
MAINTENANCE OF CABINET
For safety reasons, be sure to disconnect the AC power cord from the AC out et.
• Do not use benzene, thinner, or other so vents for c eaning.
• Wipe the cabinet with a soft c oth.
