CONTROL PANEL DESCRIPTION
Water Level Indicator
•
The set water level indicator is
flashing when the water has been
supplied and it will light up once
the water is at the set level.
Automatic Mode
• The water level is set linearly by adjust-
ing to the washing volume. If the water
level is assigned at the point with no
particular indication, then the nearest
level will light up.
•If there is some water in the wash tub
beforethe operation,the indicatorat the
highest level will light up.
Setting the button
•Press the button to choose the
water level.The indicator at the higher
water level will light up.
•While the water is flowing into the
basket, the indicator at “WATER LEVEL”
•The current washing process blinks
and the remaining process lights up.

HOWTO OPERATE
1Set drainage hose for draining.

Water level, water current and time are auto-
matically selected according to the quantity and
type of laundry detected automatically.
Put the laundry evenly and confirmly.
If it is not, the lower water level water may be set.

The washer starts flowing water at the low level to absorb the concen-

•The pulsator automatically detects the laundry amount, and indicates
the amount of concentrated detergent suitable for the laundry amount.

•If you keep the lid opening, the cycle will stop before spinning.
•Avoid your finger caught when closing the lid.

•The “beep” sound will be heard when spinning is finished.
•Always close lid after bring washed clothes out of the machine in order to
activate automatic “TUB DRY”.
•The “beep” sound will be heard when automatic “TUB DRY” is finished.

HOWTO OPERATE
“BLANKET”
1Turn the POWER .
2Press the button and select
“BLANKET”.
3Pour the liquid detergent 52 mL into the
detergent/bleach dispenser in the basket.
4Put a large item placed in the blanket
washing net in the basket.
5Close the lid and press the
button.
Take the blanket out after washing
completed.
•Open the blanket net fastener and put at the
center of the blanket.Then take out the blanket
from net.

•Remove waste or thread from blanket.
•Fold the blanket in six lengthwise.

PRESET MODE
How to use preset mode
TO SET/RESET PRESET MODE
•Turn the POWER when you want to
delete memory. If you wish to change preset
time, turn the POWER . And then set to
new preset time.
TO CONFIRM PRESETTIME
•Display preset time when you open the lid or
press the button.
•The finished times for the preset and the
actual times are different because of the
water pressure and the drainage condition.

4Put the laundry in the basket and select your favorite or water level.
Set the custom wash cycle.

•The displayed time can be changed from 2 to 12 hours by increasing
1 hour per press.

You can manually set the time of spinning according to
the following guide:
If you would like to shorten the time of drying clothes in
the room: 45 min
If you would like to almost dry the synthetic clothes: 90 min
■ The clothes which cannot be performed spin drying
“SUPER SPIN DRY” program will use a long time to
spin with high speed. Please do not spin the following
clothes:
•Easily color bleeding clothes
•Easily wrinkled clothes (e.g. blouse, 100% cottons, or
shirts)
•Easily transformable clothes
•Waterproofed clothes
1Turn the POWER and put the laundry in the wash tub.

At the set of “BLANKET” “TUB CLEAN”
If the power supplies failure occurring while in operated, the washing
machine shall be memorized remains process. After the power
supplies are recovered, you can resume starting remain process by :

LID LOCK RELEASE
This model is equipped with CHILD PROOF mode. After this mode is set to ON, the lid will be locked during operation.If you
find the accident such as children’s falling into the wash tub, please take necessary safety action urgently.
If there are small children who require attention, set this mode ON.
WARNING: Pay attention to small children. Do not leave the lid open. Do not leave the washer filled with water. Never allow
children to look into the basket or play around the washer. Do not place the stand or box etc.near the washer.
HOWTO SET CHILD PROOF MODE
Press the button, then the washing machine begins operating.
After that put in the detergent according to the detergent guide, then follow the instruction below.
Hold down the button, press the button once again.
•A buzzer will sound, the CHILD PROOF mode and lid lock indicator will be light up.
Canceling the CHILD PROOF mode
Hold down the button, press the button once again.
•A buzzer will sound, the CHILD PROOF mode and lid lock indicator will be canceled.
(for rinse to spin cycle lid lock indicator cannot be canceled).
LCannot add detergent while the machine operates in child proof mode.The lid lock is activated.
LOpen the lid while the machine is in lid lock mode can cause the accident and damage. The buzzer will sound and the
operation will stop, then water will be drianed.
CHILD PROOF MODE (if you have small children)

WARNING: Do not open the lid in this state/the lights up, doing so may damage the lid.
Once the CHILD PROOF mode is set, it is stored in memory.

Do not force to open the lid, if it is locked. Please release it as.
During the machine operation.

Remark: Please wait until the lights at indicator will off before open the lid.

TUB DRY CYCLE
“TUB DRY” cycle can remove all drops of water left in the wash tub/spin basket in order to prevent mold.
You can select two modes of this cycle.
1Turn the POWER put the laundry into the tub.

Press button to select course.
•Automatic “TUB DRY” cannot use with
“SUPER SPIN DRY” mode.

Press button to activate Automatic“TUB DRY”
cycle.
:“AUTO” indicator will light up.
•Once Automatic “TUB DRY” is set, it is stored in
memory no need to reset every time.When you
power on the machine next time, the “AUTO”
indicator will light up.
Automatic “TUB DRY” can be cancel by press
button until
“AUTO” and “MANUAL” lights out.

Close the lid and press button and follow
the usual operation until finishing process.
•The “beep” sound will be heard when spinning is
finished.
•Close the lid after take out all clothes from the wash
tub/spin basket.
•Automatic “TUB DRY”cycle will be started after lid
closed 30 min.(the program will check to ensure that
tub is empty and lid is closed).
•Drying tub cycle operate approximatly 30 min.
•If you want to immediately activate Automatic
“TUB DRY”, press button after you take
out all clothes and close the lid.
If have any clothes in wash tub/spin basket or lid
open long time
, automatic “TUB DRY” cycle will
be cancel.
Finish Automatic“TUB DRY” cycle
•
The “beep” sound will be heard when operation is
finished.
Automatic “TUB DRY”
Automatically drying wash tub/spin basket
after finish automatic wash course.
Manual“TUB DRY”
Drying wash tub/spin basket only.
Do not put any clothes in wash tub/spin basket.

Finish Manual“TUB DRY”cycle
•
The “beep” sound will be heard when operation is
finished.
NOTICE
•
The amount of mold in the wash tub/spin basket is
less or much depend on the operation of the washer.
•If there is mold in the wash tub/spin basket, it
cannot easily removed by using “TUB DRY” cycle
once.Please use this mode one time or more in one
week. If mold occur, you should use “TUB
CLEAN” course (P.17).

will rotate in order to clean detergent out of clothes
thoroughly, and water will be drained at the same time.
•Overflow rinsing means water will be filled at the
appropriate level and keep filling all the time.During
draining, clothes stirred by the pulsator to clean
detergent out at the same time.

When using detergent and bleach
Carefully read the directions given in the manual for
the liquid detergent and bleaching agent and use them
correctly.
Detergents and bleaches
Load the detergent and
the bleaching agent directly into
the detergent/bleaching agent

In case of reserving washing, pour the bleach into the
powder detergent part of the “Softener/Detergent (Preset)
case”.
Chlorine-based bleaching agent
•To use a chlorine-based bleaching agent, dilute it with
water three times as much.Load the bleaching agent into
the wash tub by dissolving the bleach gradually using the
running water for washing.
•Avoid putting the bleach directly and also applying it
directly to the laundry.These actions cause discoloration
and/or cloth damage.
NOTICE:
•Be careful not to spill the bleach onto the operating panel.
If you inadvertently spill the bleach, wipe it away at once.
When using softener
Carefully read the directions of the softener in order to
use it correctly.
•Pour the softener into the
softener case by
estimate its amount from
the detergent amount
display.
•The softener will automati-
cally fl
ow into the wash tub
during the final rinse.
Because of its tube-like structure, there may be the
dilute water remaining inside.This; however, is not
abnormal.
•Ifthe concentrated softener is used,dilute it with water one
third of its original concentration before pouring it into the
insertion case.
NOTICE
•Makesuretoclosethedispenser completely.Do not pour the
bleachontheupperpart of the dispenser.If excessivebleach
is used, then the whole bleach runs away inevitably.
•Becareful not to spill thesoftener onto the operating panel.
If you inadvertently spill the finishing agent, with it away
immediately.
•Do not leave the softener in the case for an extended
period.The finishing agent may become hard.

INSTALLATION
Install your washing machine in a level, stable place.
•It is dangerous to place the washing machine in an
unstable location since it may move during vibration.
•It will increase the sound produced by the machine when
it vibrates during use.
When you move washing machine,
hold the handles on the sides.
There are moving parts, electrical
parts and steel plates which may
cause electrical shock or injury.
•Never touch on the cabinet bottom by hands.
Never lift at the cabinet bottom by hands.
When the machine is covered.
Do not use the cover made of chloric vinyl. Sometimes it
damages plastic parts and painted surface.When you use
the cover made of chloric vinyl, put the cloth between the
machine and the cover.
Avoid place where the machine is
exposed to direct sunlight.
•Plastic parts may become
deformed or discolored.
Avoid places where the machine may become frozen
during cold weather.
Allow a space of at least 5 cm from the sides and rear
of the machine to the nearest vertical object.
•When placed too near to walls
or other objects, the vibration
of the machine during operation
may cause them to shake.

1. After loosening the leg nut, adjust the leg to
the proper height by turning it.Then tighten
the leg nuts securely once again.
2. When the leg height is difficult to adjust because
of floor slope or unevenness, place a board of
sufficient thickness to prevent breakage under
the affected legs to allow adjustment to a level position.
3. A weight attached to a string may be used to
check to ensure that your washing machine is flat.

Attaching the water inlet hose to the faucet
If you attach the water inlet hose completely, it may cause a water leakage.

push the hose union to the water
faucet.
4Tightenthefourscrewsevenly around
the faucet.In this time check the gap
is approx. 4 mm between the nozzle
and the ring.
5Remove the seal from the union
and turn to the arrow destination
the nozzle to tighten securely.
6Check the gap is approx. 1 to
3 mm between the nozzle and
the ring.
•If the gap is wide, it may cause the water leak.
•If it cause the water leakage during operation,
tighten the nozzle more securely.
Caution
•If you attach the hose union again because of
moving house etc., loose the gap is approx. 4 mm
between the nozzle and the
ring. Then attach it according
above methods. They are
preventable the water leakage.
1Pull the sleeve down, then insert
the water inlet hose.
2Separate the sleeve until a click is
heard, then push it up.
3Check to ensure that the lock
lever is hung on the nozzle. Next,
check to ensure that the water
supply hose does not come off by
pulling down on it.
4Tighten the hose nut
on the end of the water

•When inserting the drainage hose into a wash pan or onto a
drain pipe, the hook may be moved to facilitate the installation.
•When hooking the hose hook into the
slot provided on the body of your
washing machine, move the hook
back to its initial position.
•Insert the drainage hose in as far as
it will go, then use the accessory
hose band to secure it tightly.
•Secure the hose tightly. An improperly
secured hose may cause leakage.

•When attaching the drainage hose to a wash
pan, etc., either leave a gap between the end
of the hose and the adjacent surface, or cut
the hose diagonally to ensure proper drainage.

•If the level of the threshold and the
drainage hose is high, the washing
machine may not be drained.
•Be careful not to rub the drainage hose.Do not insert the
drainage hose under the washing machine.They may be
damaged the drainage hose.

Turn over the filter, and then slide the filter case in the arrow
direction of the following figure (1) to remove it (2).
Clean inside the filter cover and the filter case.

If there is any remaining detergent hard to be removed, use the “TUB CLEAN”course.
•Before put detergent or bleach to in the detergent/bleach dispenser, remove water in its inlet.
With any remaining water, detergent may be hardened and attached.

1Mount the cap of the insertion case. If the washing machine
operates without the cap in place, the softener does not

If the stainless basket rust for external reasons
Please clean the rust by a sponge or a soft cloth with a cream cleaner.
* Do not use metallic brush because the body may scratch and easily rust.
■Stainless rust
The stainless basket usually prevents the rust.
However, there is possible to have it. Please
follow the recommendation below to prevent
rust.
•Do not put the metallic objects into the machine, e.g. Hair clip.
•After draining the water, the rusted water will be drained.This
will caused the accumulated rust inside the washing machine.
Clean it again with clean water.
Washing machine body and panel
Before performing any maintenance on your washing machine, be sure to remove the electrical plug from its power source.
The main body and control panel may be cleaned by wiping with a soft cloth soaked in water.
(Hard-to-remove dirt may be cleaned by wiping with a soft cloth soaked in a mind detergent.)
Caution: Never clean the body or control panel with benzine, thinner, cleanser, or other chemical cleaners. Use of such
chemicals can discolor or damage parts.
Cleaning the tub
“TUBCLEAN” course
The dirt from clothes or wastewater on the wash/
spin basket will cause the smell or the problem of
water draining.Such dirt from the washing pro-
cess will then make the laundry dirty. If you are in
such case, please use“TUBCLEAN” course
twice a month. Or in case the clothes have been
starched, please use the “TUBCLEAN” program to
remove the dirt of the starch from the basket.

Error Indication List
In the case the buzzer sounds and the display indicates as shown below.

•Is the circuit breaker or fuses cut off?
•Is the machine’s plug properly inserted into
an AC socket?
•Is the power switch ON?
•Is there the inclination of the laundry?
•Is your washing machine installed on an
inclined or uneven surface?
•Are there match sticks, hairpins or metal
objects being washed with the laundry?
•Is the faucet shape suited?
•Are the hose coupling and the nozzle loose?
•Is the hose nut loose?
•Is the water supply hose connector clogged?
•If you turn the power on and press
button immediately, it may not beep the end

The following are not malfunctions.
When: Check:
The first time you use your washing machine,
a small amount of water may drain out of the
drainage hose.
During operation the control panel gets warm.
The pulsator rotates a little bit.
During washing and rinsing, lamps flickers.
During spinning, suddenly supplying the
water or rinsing.
Sloshing sounds of remaining water coming
from your washing machine after SPIN cycle
has been completed.
After pausing the machine during the spin
cycle, it will not starts immediately.
If operates the machine at spinning on and
off.
Cannot open the lid during the rinsing and
spinning process.
After water supply shut off or water with iron
rust appears.
The buzzer does not stop.
•This is merely water lift over from the performance inspection performed
on your washing machine before it was shipped from the factory.
•Because of the electronic parts radiate heat.
•Because of preventing the laundry unbalancing, it rotates a little bit.
•It is the cause of the power source wiring in a house.If fluorescence light
be changed, it may improve condition.
•Because load unbalance occurred and safety switch operated. The
spin will cycle resume after supplying water, rotating and correcting the
unbalanced load.
•They are made by water retained by the machine for the purpose of
maintaining balance and do not indicate malfunction.
•There are a short pause before the machine begins to spin as the
drainage valve opens sufficienty.
•You may hear intermittent motor sound (“coon” sound) in spinning
process occurs, this is a sound which occurs in order to control rotation,
and not a malfunction.
•This is the prevention measure to prevent the user from sticking his hand
into the basket
•Wait for water becomes clean. Returning type bleach can be used
(hydrohiteretc.)whenironrust adhered to the white colored clothes. Avoid
using the bleach for colored articles.
•If the CHILD PROOF mode is set to ON, and the lid is opened while the
machine is in operation, the buzzer beeps. Check inside the washing
machine. Press to turn it off.
HANDLING METHOD FOR EMERGENCY
When the machine takes on abnormal operation, please disconnect the power plug and send it to our service agency for handling.
Never disassemble the machine by yourself, for safety reasons.
