Using the Touchjet App on your Smartphone (iOS / Android) to Set-up your WAVE
With the Touchjet App, you can use your iPhone or Android smartphone as an interactive smart
remote control for both the Touchjet WAVE™ and Touchjet Pond™ projector (connect the
smartphone and Touchjet device to the same wifi network).
Install the Touchjet App on your smartphone either from the App Store or Google Play.
After installing the WAVE hardware onto your TV, please come back to this document for next
steps in regards to the Touchjet App and WAVE set-up.

1. Connecting the Touchjet App with Your WAVE
a. Connect your smartphone to your WAVE's Wi-Fi network.
b. Open the Touchjet App. The app should automatically connect to your WAVE. If
it doesn’t automatically connect, select your Touchjet WAVE™ device under
Touchjet Devices.
Your Touchjet App is now connected with your Touchjet device.
2. Adjusting the Screen Size (if needed)
If the screen size appears bigger or smaller than your actual TV, follow these steps to
adjust the screen size.
a. In the Apps mode, launch the Display Settings app.

b. On your TV screen, you will see the Display Settings app launched. Using the
Touch Pad function in the Remote mode, tap on Display Position.
c. Using the Touch Pad, tap the - / + to adjust the screen size to fit your TV screen.
The blue screen should fit inside your TV screen.
3. Calibrating the Touchscreen
a. In the Settings mode, tap on Start Calibration.
The next few steps will be done directly on your TV screen with finger touch.
b. Touch the first point on the screen and lift your finger after the dot turns
completely yellow. There are a total of 5 points to touch.
c. After touching the last point, wait for the calibration to complete and then tap on
Press to Finish to complete calibration.

Once the calibration process is completed, you can use finger touch on the WAVE or
continue to use the Touchjet App on your smartphone as a smart remote control.
4. Setting Up the Wi-Fi on the WAVE
There are two options to set-up the Wi-Fi on the WAVE. You can set-up the Wi-Fi
directly
on the WAVE or in your Touchjet App on your smartphone.
a. On the WAVE, tap on Settings → All Settings → Wi-Fi
b. In the Touchjet App, tap on Settings.
c. Select your Wi-Fi network and enter password. Tap on Save WiFi Settings.
In Settings, you can also adjust the volume and switch to Air Mouse mode.

d. In the Apps mode, you can see all the apps that you’ve downloaded onto the
WAVE. Tap the app to launch it on the WAVE.
e. In the Remote mode, you can use the Touch Pad to navigate the WAVE. A
keyboard will appear when entering text is required.
f. In Settings mode, you can switch to Air Mouse mode so that you can use your
smartphone as a pointer, adjust volume and set-up Wi-Fi.

Using the Screenshot feature, easily capture images on your
WAVE for easy sharing on your mobile device.

5. Touchjet Present
Use the Touchjet Present app on the WAVE for interactive presentations, digital
whiteboard and also family fun.
Conference Room
Easily access your powerpoint presentations, PDFs, and videos via the Cloud using the
Touchjet Present app on your Touchjet WAVE™. No need to connect your laptop. Invite
participants to join your meeting by installing the Touchjet Present app on their smart
devices (iOS and Android) or computer (via the Web) and whatever you’re presenting
will instantly appear on their screens. Collaborate by annotating on the big screen
(WAVE) and all participating smart devices. Meeting report is automatically generated at
the end of the meeting and sent via email to the host.

Classroom
With the Touchjet WAVE™, teachers can have an affordable interactive touchscreen in
the classroom. Teachers can easily pull up lesson plans onto their classroom TV using
the Touchjet Present app. Students can participate and collaborate at their desk using
their iPads, Android tablets or Chromebooks using Touchjet Present and have their
annotations instantly shared across all screens (cross-platform).

Family Room
Turn the family TV into the ultimate entertainment center. With Touchjet Present, have
fun doodling on photos on the big screen and on your mobile device.
6. Video Conferencing
The Touchjet WAVE™ has an embedded web camera for video conferencing using apps
like Skype, Zoom, etc. The companion microphone will be on the Touchjet App, and will
be released soon as an update on the Touchjet App. In addition, you will be able to use
the microphone feature on the Touchjet App for voice commands as well.
Installation is Complete!
Your Touchjet WAVE™ installation is complete. You can use finger touch or use the
Touchjet App on your smartphone to navigate and control the WAVE. Enjoy! For any
