Introduction
Die Firmware des Caruso Blu kann komfortabel über
eine bestehende Internetverbindung aktualisiert
werden.
Ab der Version V 1.20 kann das Firmwareupdate
komfortabel über das Systemmenü gestartet
werden. Bei früheren Versionen (kleiner als V 1.20)
kann das Update über ein Servicemenü manuell
gestartet werden.
Die genaue Durchführung des Firmwareupdates ist,
für die unterschiedlichen Firmwarestände, im
Folgenden jeweils separat beschrieben.
The Caruso Blu`s firmware can be updated in a
convenient way by using the existing Internet
connection.
Since version V 1.20, the firmware update can be
started conveniently via the system menu. In earlier
versions (lower than V 1.20) the update can be
started manually via a service menu.
How to update the firmware, is described separately
for each of the different firmware versions below.
Ein funktionierendes Netzwerk mit Router und
ein Zugang zu einem Breitband-Internet-
Anschluss müssen vorhanden und
betriebsbereit sein.
The basic requirement is a functioning network
with router and access to a broadband Internet
connection; the system must be operating.

Schalten Sie das Gerät ein.
Rufen Sie das Systemmenü durch Drücken der
Taste auf der Gerätefront auf.
Wählen Sie mit den / -Tasten
auf der Gerätefront den Menüpunkt
„Geräteinfo“ aus und bestätigen Sie die
Auswahl durch Druck auf die -Taste.
Wählen Sie mit den / -Tasten
auf der Gerätefront den Menüpunkt „Update“
aus und bestätigen Sie die Auswahl durch
Druck auf die -Taste.
Die Auswahloption „WEB“ sollte nun aktiviert
(markiert) sein.
Das Firmware Update wird durch einen Druck
auf die -Taste gestartet.
Der aktuelle Updatefortschritt wird im Display
angezeigt.
Nachdem das Update vollständig ausgeführt
wurde (Dauer bis zu 10 Minuten) schaltet das
Gerät selbstständig aus und startet neu.
Nach dem Neustart des Gerätes ist das Update
abgeschlossen.
Zur Kontrolle kann unter dem oben
beschriebenen Menüpunkt „Geräteinfo“ der
neue Firmwarestand abgefragt werden.

Select the menu item “Device info”with the
/ -buttons on the front panel, and
confirm your selection by pressing the the
-button.
Select the menu item “Update” with the
/ -buttons on the front panel, and
confirm your selection by pressing the -
button.
The Select option “WEB”should now be active
(highlighted).
The firmware update can now be started by
pressing the -button.
The screen displays the current state of
progress of the update.
Once the update has been completed (duration
around ten minutes) the device automatically
switches itself off and restarts.
When the machine has restarted, the update is
complete.
To ensure that the update was successful,
access the “Device Info” menu point mentioned
above, and check the new firmware status.

Schalten Sie das Gerät aus.
Schalten Sie es wieder ein und drücken Sie
anschließend innerhalb von 5 Sekunden die
-Taste solange, bis im Gerätedisplay
das "Software Update Menü" erscheint.
Wählen Sie mit den / -Tasten
auf der Gerätefront den Menüpunkt „Update“
aus und bestätigen Sie die Auswahl durch
Druck auf die -Taste.
Wählen Sie mit den / -Tasten
auf der Gerätefront den Menüpunkt „Update“
aus und bestätigen Sie die Auswahl durch
Druck auf die -Taste. Der Fokus springt
nun auf die rechte Seite des Displays.
Wählen Sie nun mit den Cursor Tasten 
und die Einstellung „web“.
Bestätigen Sie die Auswahl durch Druck auf die
-Taste. Die Anzeige „start WEB Upd“
sollte nun erscheinen.
Drücken Sie erneut die -Taste.
Die Meldung „start WEB Upd“ sollte jetzt hell
hinterlegt erscheinen.
Das Firmware Update wird durch nochmaligen
Druck auf die -Taste gestartet.
Der aktuelle Updatefortschritt wird im Display
angezeigt.
Nachdem das Update vollständig ausgeführt
wurde (Dauer bis zu 10 Minuten) schaltet das
Gerät selbstständig aus und startet neu.
Nach dem Neustart des Gerätes ist das Update
abgeschlossen.
Zur Kontrolle kann unter dem oben
beschriebenen Menüpunkt „Geräteinfo“ der
neue Firmwarestand abgefragt werden.

Switch it on again and press within 5 seconds
after power ON, the -button on the front
panel. Keep it pressed until the „Software
Update Menu" appears on the display.
Select the menu item “Update”with the
/ -buttons on the front panel,
and confirm your selection by pressing the the
-button.
Select the menu item “Update” with the
/ -buttons on the front panel,
and confirm your selection by pressing the
-button. The focus will now jump to the
right side of the display.
Now choose „web“ with the and 
buttons.
Press the -button to confirm your
selection. The display should now show „start
WEB Upd“.
Please press the -button again.
The message „start WEB Upd“ should now be
highlighted.
The firmware update can now be started by
pressing the -button.
The screen displays the current state of
progress of the update.
Once the update has been completed (duration
