the cartridge. With all batteries installed place the cartridge back again in to the casing and turn the end cap in a
clockwise direction until fully tightened. The flashlight is now ready to use.
IMPORTANT: please make sure the batteries are installed correctly otherwise battery damage may occur,
possibly resulting in a explosion. Never try to recharge batteries or use new and used batteries together. Always
change all the batteries at the same time and only use high quality ones. Be careful not to touch the gold
contacts at the end of the battery cartridge or rest them against anything conductive as this could cause short
circuit. If you do not intend to use the flashlight for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent them
leaking and damaging the flashlight.
4.2 operating the flashlight
This flashlight is equipped with 4 different operation modes (see figure)
High beam (100%): for indoor, outdoor or long distance illumination
Low beam (10%): for close illumination, such as reading, repairing or identification
Strobe light (12Hz): for signalling
SOS Signal: For use in rescue situations, this mode will continually flash the international Morse code for SOS
You can access the different modes in 2 ways:
Touch: Lightly touch the end cap switch with your thumb to switch on the first mode. Releasing the switch and
then touching it again within one second, will switch it to the next mode. Keep repeating this to cycle through
all the 4 different modes. Releasing the switch for more than 1 second will reset the cycle in to the begin mode.
If you apply more pressure, which will engage the button, then the current mode will remain selected.
Press: Exactly the same procedure as above but instead of performing a light touch on the end cap switch, you
apply more pressure and engage the button each time. This will keep each mode selected unless the procedure
is repeated within one second, in this case you will switch to the next mode.
