Quick Set-Up Guide
Installing the Battery/ SD Memory Card
1. Open the battery/memory card cover.
2. Insert the supplied battery with the correct orientation as shown.
3. Insert an SD/SDHC memory card (Optional) in the correct orientation as shown in the
illustration.
The camera has 32MB internal memory (29MB available for image storage), but you can
load an SD/SDHC memory card to expand the camera’s memory capacity.
Be sure to format the memory card with this camera before its initial usage.
4. Close the battery/memory card cover and make sure it is locked securely.
Turning the Power On/Off
To turn the power on, press the Power button until the camera turns on.
To turn the power off, press the Power button until the camera turns off.

Viewing Images
1. Slide the mode switch to [x].
The last recorded image appears on the LCD Monitor
screen.
2. Use eor fbutton to select the desired images.
To view the previous image, press the ebutton.
To view the next image, press the fbutton.
Pressing the button enlarges the image.
To return to normal magnification, press the button.
Shooting Images
1. Press the Power button until the camera turns on.
2. Compose the image on the monitor screen so that the
main subject is within the focus frame.
3. Press the shutter button to capture the image.

Deleting Still Images/Video Clips
1. Slide the mode switch to [x].
The last recorded image will be displayed on the screen.
2. Select the image you want to delete with the e/ f
buttons.
3. Press the Fbutton.
The delete menu will be displayed.
4. Select [Single] or [All] with the c/ dbuttons, then press
the SET button.
Single: Delete the displayed image or the last image.
All: Delete all of the images on the SD memory card.
5. Select [Execute] with the c/ dbuttons, then press the SET button.
To cancel deletion, select [Cancel], then press the OK button.
