Single segment calibration (recommended):
1. Turn on the scale and then turn it off.
2. Press and hold [ZERO] and then turn on the scale, LCD will show SCALE on
first line, CAL-0 (flashed) on the second line and AD value on the third line.
3. Press [SAMPLE/UNIT] to select calibration unit kg or lb.
4. After the stable A/D value is displayed, press [ZERO] to calibrate ZERO, after
2 or 3 seconds, the second will show 0.
5. Set calibration weight through input 0 to 9 and then place the calibration weight
you had set, Press [ZERO] to calibrate, after the stable indicator light, press
[ZERO] key, the second line of display will show 00000 and now calibration is
finished.
6. Turn off the power, then turn on the power again, place some weight on the
platform to make sure whether weighing is correct, if not, repeat steps 1-6.
Linearity calibration (for scale technician or factory use):
1. Turn on the scale and then turn it off.
2. Press and hold [TARE] and then turn on the scale, LCD will show LINE
on first row,CAL-0 (flashed) on the second line and AD value on the third line.
3. When the AD value is stable, press [ZERO] to calibrate ZERO, after 2 or 3
seconds, the second line will show 1.0000.
4. Place 1kg weight on the platform , and press [ZERO] when the stable A/D value
is displayed, after 2 or 3 seconds, the display will show 2.0000.
5. Place 2kg weight on the platform , and press [ZERO] when the stable A/D value
is displayed, after 2 or 3 seconds, the display will show3.0000.
6. Place 3kg weight on the platform , and press [ZERO] when the stable A/D value
is displayed, after 2 or 3 seconds, the display will show0.0000 and now calibration is
finished.
7. Turn off the power, then turn on the power again, place some weight on the
platform to make sure whether weighing is correct, if not, repeat steps 1-6.

17. [MC] KEY MEMORY CANCEL is used for canceling the data in memory.
18. [TOTAL] KEY is used for switching normal counting and recalling memory data.
19. [SAMPLE/UNIT] (lb/Kg). Press the key to selected weight unit. Once the unit is
selected, the selected unit indicates the different calibration and weighing unit.
Ⅲ. OPERATION:
TARE
Clearing Tare weight:
Place the empty container on the platter. Press [TARE] key. The WEIGHT display shows
0.00000.

Clearing the previous tare value:
Remove weight from the platter then press [TARE] key so that the Tare indicator turns off and
WEIGHT display returns to Zero.
SAMPLE SETTING: There are two sample setting methods:
Number setting: (In case of counting the unknown unit weight)
Place the pre-counted X number of samples on the platter, total weight is displayed. Set the X
number of samples through numeric keys and press SAMPLE/UNIT key. UNIT WEIGHT on
display shows the average piece weight of the samples.TOTAL (pcs) on display will show
the number of unit on the scale, add in more samples and it will show the total number of
pieces.
Unit weight setting: (In case unit weight is known)
Place samples on the scale. Key in the average piece weight using the numeric keypad.
Press UNIT WEIGHT on the keypad. The total number of pieces will be shown on the TOTAL

c. Press [CE] key for cancel the previous unit weight and sample setting.
ALARM FUNCTION: To avoid counting errors, this scale has an useful alarm function to inform
operator of counting error in case of low sample size or low sample weight.
2
LACK OF SAMPLE
Lack of Sample cursor on the display will turn on if the total weight of sample is
below the limit value. The scale will be about to start counting but the error may be
high.
Press CE key. Use larger sample size (more weight), key in sample size on the
numeric keypad and press SAMPLE/UNIT.
UNIT WEIGHT ENHANCEMENT
The scale will automatically adjust and calculate new average unit weight when
more samples are slowly placed on the scale. This ensures higher accuracy as
samples are now based on a larger population size.
.
LACK OF PIECE WEIGHT
Lack of Piece Weight indicator will turn on if the averaged unit weight or set unit
weight is not enough for accurate counting operation. Operator may use scale even
this indicator turn on, but counting error might occur.
HI / LO CHECKWEIGHING WITH COUNTING
THE LCS has useful check function to inform operator that the total piece counts
quantity has reached the lower limit and the upper limit desired. This function is
designed for packing applications.
For example, if the operator wish to count 1,000 pieces for every package, he/she
can set the lower limit and the upper limit as 1,000 pieces by:
Press [QTY/SET] enter quantity alarm menu.
Press ZERO to turn on check weighing “CH=ON” on display. Press ZERO, if
“CH=OFF”, it means that the quantity alarm function is turned off.
To set the lower and upper count limit, press TARE key to select the hi / lo limits.
