Descripti n
Battery-Powered Cartridge Gun is specially designed
to be used with 1.5L units of dual-component Tremco
adhesive products such as Tremco Low Rise Foam
Insulation Adhesive, Tremco LR Adhesive and Tremco
LF Adhesive. The unique carriage design is extremely
durable and allows the user to install adhesive in an
upright position eliminating back strain. The tool is
powered by a 14.4 volt rechargeable battery. The
motor is designed to run on lower amps than conven-
tional cordless tools which extends overall battery life
and reduces charging time.
User Instructi ns
1. Assemble carriage handle using the provided (4)
screws and lock nuts with the wrench and allen key
(also included).
2. Open the clutch lever to allow movement of the
racks. Retract the rack by pulling the rack handle
away from the tool.
3. Prepare adhesive cartridge by removing caps
or plugs and installing static mixing nozzle.
N te: Follow complete instructions for cartridge
preparation as described in product data sheet.
4. Insert cartridge into the carriage. Line up the
cartridge and the cartridge nozzle opening for
correct positioning.
5. Push the rack handle forward, lining up pistons
with the openings on the cartridge. Close the clutch
lever to engage clutch.
6. Slide the battery onto the handle until it is fully
engaged.
7. Adjust speed control knob to desired flow. High
speed is designated on the knob by the largest
“bubble” symbol. Slower speeds; smaller bubbles.
N te: Most applications will require the tool to be
operated at full speed.
8. Hold trigger to begin dispensing adhesive. ote:
Trigger must be depressed 2 times before tool
operates when it has sat idle. This is a power saving
feature built into the tool.
9. When finished dispensing, or when end of cartridge
is reached, release trigger, open clutch, then retract
rack. Remove cartridge.
Packaging:
Battery-Powered Cartridge Gun includes 2 recharge-
able iCd batteries, 1 battery charger, and 1 detach-
able carriage handle.
