1. Before You Start
ŸA computer with Network adapter installed
ŸCat.5, Cat.5e or Cat.6 Network Cable
ŸThe surface must support at least 775g for the Switch
ŸThe power outlet should be within 1.8 meters (6 feet) of the Switch
ŸMake sure that there is proper heat dissipation from and adequate
ventilation around the Switch
ŸDo not place heavy objects on the Switch
2. How to Install
1. Connect the power adapter to the TE100-S16Eg and then to a power outlet.

ŸGreen: Power is on
ŸNot Illuminated: Power is off
LINK/ACT
ŸGreen (Solid): Link to another device
ŸGreen (Blinking): Data transmitting/receiving at 10/20Mbps
(Half/Full Duplex) or 100/200Mbps (Half/Full Duplex)
ŸNot Illuminated: Nothing is detected on the port
100Mbps
ŸGreen: Connection to the port is 100/200Mbps (Half/Full Duplex)
ŸNot Illuminated: Connection to the port is 10/20Mbps (Half/Full Duplex) or
nothing is detected on the port
2. Connect a RJ-45 network cable from the computer to an available Ethernet
port of the TE100-S16Eg.
