VERY IMPORTANT
Please read this instruction guide before install and using
your portable air conditioner unit.
This instruction manual is the universal-purpose version
for the units that you purchase, it might be slightly
different from the ones described in the manual, but it does
not affect your proper operations and usage.
CAUTION
1." PLEASE MAKE SURE THE PRODUCT VENTILATES ALL THE TIME "! Please make sure the inlet andoutlet ventilation
is not blocked at all times.
2. Operate this unit on a horizontal surface to avoid water leakage.
3. Do not operate this unit in an explosive or corrosiveatmosphere.
4. Operate this unit in an ambient of 35 degree centigrade or less.
5. The heating function of the unit should be operated in an indoor ambient temperature between 7℃and 23℃
6. Clean air filter periodically to enjoy the most efficient cooling.
7.When the unit is shut off, please wait at least 3.5 minutes before restarting this is to prevent the compressorfrombeing
damaged.
8. This unit needs at least 7 Amps of electricity to have its compressor operational. To avoid the household electricity block
out, please do not use any extension cord for this unit.
9. This unit is for indoor cooling, heating and dehumidifying.
10. When turning on the unit, the fan will operate but the compressor will start up after the cooling alarmflashes for three
minutes
●In heating function, the heating alarm will flash for 3.5 minutes before the compressor andfan start up.
11. When the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid hazard.
12．Inorder to dispose the appliance safely, please remove the batteries fromthe unit before scrapping it.
13. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
14. The air-conditioner can be connected only to a supply with system impedance no more than 0.219Ω.In case necessary,
please consult your supply authority for systemimpedance information.
ATTENTION
For effective heating and cooling functions, please ensure that the following steps
are undertaken:
1) Extend the exhaust hose to a length of not more than 400mm. The exhaust
hose must be kept parallel and must not be bent up or down.
2) A distance of 500mm minimum must be kept between the filter side of the unit
and wall or any other obstacles”.

UNPACKING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place the unit in the correct upright position before unpacking.
2. Cut the two packing straps.
3. Slide the carton in an upwards motion and it will release from the base.
4. Grip the carry handles located on either sides of the unit and carefully lift until it slides out of the foambase.
5. Install the exhaust hose on the unit before operating the unit.
Check packing accessories, read user’s manual to get how to use them.

1. POWER KEY
Press to turn unit "ON" or "OFF".
2. TEMP- (DOWN)
During cooling function：This key lowers the preset temperature by 1℃each time it is pressed and the minimum limit is 16℃.
During heating function：This key lowers the preset temperature by 1℃each time and the minimum limit is 16℃.
3. SLEEP CONTROL FUNCTION
1. While in cooling mode, press the SLEEP key to set the temperature. It increases1 ℃after an hour and at most increases 2 ℃after 2
hours.
2. While in heating mode, press the SLEEP key to set the temperature. It decreases 1 ℃after an hour and at most decreases 2 ℃
after 2 hours.
3. Press the SLEEP key again can cancel the setting.
4. SPEED
Press to select either LOW, MEDIUM, or HIGH fan speed.
5. SWING(air flow)
After machine turns on, press this key, the louver will swing continuously left and right; by pressing this button again the movement will
stop and the louver remain in that position.
6. TEMP+ (UP)
During cooling function：This key raises the preset temperature by 1℃each time it is pressed and the maximum limit is 31℃.
During heating function：This key raises the preset temperature by 1℃each time it is
pressed and the maximum limit is 31℃.
7. PROGRAMMABLE TIMER
Programmable timer ON/OFF key.
TIMER-ON: The timer-on is used to turn on the unit automatically after the set time is over.
1. Press the "TIMER" key at stand-by status , then set the time you desired by pressing “TEMP+”or “TEMP-“key
2. Once the set hour has come to an end, the unit will turn on automatically.
3. Press the "POWER" key before time out, the setting time will be canceled and the unit will turn on.
4. You can set the function and fan speed while setting the timer.
TIMER-OFF: The timer-off is used to turn off the unit automatically after the setting time is over.
1. Press the "TIMER" key at operating status ,then set the time you desired by pressing “TEMP+”or “TEMP-“key.
2. Once the set hour has come to an end, the unit will turn off automatically.
3. Press the "POWER" key before the time out, the setting time will be canceled and the unit will turn off.
Note: In dehumidifying function, this key is invalid because the unit is defined to be low speed in
dehumidifying mode.

8. MODE
Press this key to select cooling, fan, dehumidifying or heating.
ALARM
When the water tank is full,"E2" will be displayed on the display panel. To resume operation, please remove the rubber cap of the drain
hose to drain out the water firstly. The E2 warning will disappear after draining, and then you can restart the unit by pressing the POWER
key.
L.E.D. DISPLAY
The display indicates the current setting temperature or the timer setting. When the set temperature or the timer is adjusted, the new
setting is shown then the display returns the current set temperature.
※The display is also used to show error codes should a fault occur, see ERROR
CODES.

NOTICE
This unit can evaporate the condensation and distribute through the exhaust hose automatically.
1.Whenthe unit is in the coolingfunction, it does not need the drain pipe installed. Please make sure that the rubber cap is locked
on drain hole, when the unit is running.
2. When operating the dehumidifying or heating function, the “B” rubber cap on drain hose should be pulled out and install a proper
drain hose.
●Please remove the air exhaust hose, connect a drain hose to the drain hole and lead the water to the outside inorder to intensify
dehumidifying capacity.
※When the water tank is full,"E2" will be displayed on the display panel. Please remove the rubber cap “B” of the drain hole to drain
out the water first. After the drainage is completed, please restart the unit and then the unit can operate normally.
HEPA FILTER FUNCTION （OPTIONAL)
NOTE
Hepa filter looks like as fellows:

1. Putting on the hepa filter, the fresh indicator turns on.
2. In fresh function, the cooling and dehumidifying function is invalid.
3. If you need cooling and dehumidifying function, you have to put off the hepa filter.
How to put on the hepa filter
1. Take out the unit filter.
2. Take out the filter frame.
3. Put on the hepa filter.

4. Put on the filter frame.
5. Put on the filter .
POWER SUPPLY
(1) Confirm the correct power.
(2) Insert the plug into the outlet firmly In order to prevent any dangerous leakage.
(3) Don’t pull power wire by force because it will cause damage to power wire.
PLACE FOR USE
(1) Because the machine distributes hot air, please don’t place or operate in a narrow place.
(2) In case of dangerous leak, don’t work the machine in a humid place.
(3) Don’ t place the machine in a sunlit corner otherwise the unit might shut down due to the overheat and the
color of the machine may soon fade out.
HELPFUL HINTS
The unit is fitted with a special thermal cut off device.
Please ensure the unit is not placed against objects which will obstruct air intake e.g. furniture or curtains as
this will affect it's performance dramatically.

EXHAUSTHOSE INSTALL
1. Circumrotate the exhaust hose according to the direction as the arrowhead ①indicates and then the exhaust hose can be took
out from the unit.
2. Circumrotate the exhaust hose according to the direction as the arrowhead ②indicates and then make it connect with the unit.
WINDOW KIT INSTALL
Install the Exhaust Hose and the Adjustable Window Slider Kit as depicted in Fig.1 ＆Fig.1a.
How to enjoy heating function？
When operating heating function：
Assemble the fan blade and the exhaust hose as Fig.01 and Fig.02.

How to enjoy WIFI function？(OPTIONAL)
The new mobile air conditioner with Wi-Fi functionality has built in Wi-Fi module and firmware, which
support user control via application on your mobile phone (will be called APP in the following chapters). It
supports two control modes, local control and remote control.
In remote control case, the mobile air conditioner needs to be connected to a router, which has the
capability to access the internet. In local control case, the mobile air conditioner can either provide hot spot
or be connected to a router.
During the initial interaction between the APP and the air conditioner, you need to go through the
following step by step guide to configure the air conditioner, add device to your APP, etc. While configuring
the device, you may need to work with the SLEEP/SPEED buttons or Wi-Fi LED indicator on the control
panel of the air conditioner.
The functionality of the SLEEP/SPEED buttons and Wi-Fi Led indicator is as follow,
SLEEP: long press 5 seconds to make the device into AP status.
SPEED: long press 5 seconds to rollback all configurations to factory status.
Wi-Fi LED indicator：
ON：the air conditioner is connected to a router.
OFF: Wi-Fi connection failure or hardware error.
Quick Flash(5~6 times / sec): in configuration status or trying to connect to a router.
Slow Flash(1~3 times / sec): in AP status
The following chapters will describe how to use the APP to control the mobile conditioner in different
scenarios.

step1) long press SLEEP 5 seconds to make the air conditioner to enter AP status. In this status, the Wi-Fi led
indicator will slow flash。Press the “setup” icon on the mobile phone.
step2) enable Wi-Fi functionality of the mobile phone.
step3) search Wi-Fi hot spot name starting with “trentios”.
step4) connect to the Wi-Fi hot spot starting with “trentios”.
Note: the Wi-Fi hot spot name starting with“trentios”provide through the password：12345678. If you
find more than one hot spot starting with“trentios”, please move you phone close to the mobile air
conditioner, choose the one with the strongest signal. To avoid connect to wrong device, you can
choose to power off other“trentios”mobile air conditioner if possible.
step 5) launch the APP(named as AC Mobile Controller).
step 6) press the button on the right top of the APP’s main interface to configure or search new device.
step7) press“SEARCH DEVICE” button to search new device. If there is new device appears on the device
list, choose the device to add the device to the APP’s control panel.
Note: For security purpose, the air conditioner is not discoverable in normal status. To make the device
discoverable, please press the SLEEP button. The discoverable period is 90 seconds after the SLEEP is long
pressed, once expire, you need to press the button again to enable discoverable.
step 8) after the device is chose, the APP will prompt to confirm to add device or not. Please choose “YES”
to add device.
step9) there will be a snapshot on the main UI interface of the APP after the device is added successfully.
step 10) press the snapshot to enter the main control user interface of the mobile air conditioner.
step 11)if there is more than one trentios air conditioner, the name on the user interface can be modified by
press the “ trentios” bar on the top of the page.
2. How to control the air condition in via a router
If the mobile phone and the mobile air conditioner are connected to the same router, the user can control
the air conditioner via the router. In this case, if the router can access the internet, you can also monitor and
control the mobile air conditioner out of home, via the network server over the internet.
To connect the air conditioner to a router, you need to long press the SPEED 5 seconds to enter
configuration status if the device is not in this status.
The following steps describe how to connect the air conditioner to the router and how to use APP to
control air conditioner via router.

step1) long press SPEED 5 seconds to make the air conditioner to enter configuration status. In configuration
status, the Wi-Fi led indicator will flash。Press the “setup” icon on the mobile phone.
step2) enable Wi-Fi functionality of the mobile phone. Choose your home router and connect your mobile
phone to the router. In this case, the home router is “Gaitek_2104”. You may need to input password if
required.
step 3) launch the APP(named as AC Mobile Controller).
step 4) press the button on the right top of the APP’s main interface to configure or search new device.
step5,6) choose your home router in the name list. By default, it’s the router which the mobile phone is
already connected.
step7) input the password, press ”CONNECT” button, the APP to automatically negotiate with the air
conditioner and guide it to connect to the target router.
Note: it may takes about 40 seconds while the air conditioner is trying to connect to the router. If
connected successfully, the Wi-Fi led indicator will light on. If failed, the led indicator will be off or flash. In
this case, please follow step 1 to step 7 and try again.
Step8) once the conditioner is connected to the router successfully, please press the “SEARCH DEVICE”
button to search and add available device.
step 9) after the device is chose, the APP will prompt to confirm to add device or not. Please choose “YES”
to add device.
step 10) there will be a snapshot on the main UI interface of the APP after the device is added successfully.
step 11) press the snapshot to enter the main control user interface of the mobile air conditioner
Note: if the air conditioner is connected to a router, and the router can access internet, you can use the
APP to monitor and control the air conditioner out of home.

3. How to delete device on the APP

step1) on the APPs main interface, choose and long press the device to be deleted.
Step 2) choose “YES” to delete device.
4. How to rollback to factory configuration
To rollback to configuration of the air conditioner to factory status, please long press the MODE button
5 seconds. If rollback successfully, the Wi-Fi led indicator on the control panel with quick flash.
Note: for security purpose, once the rollback operation is done, those mobile phones that have ever
added the device will lose control to the device. In this case, you need to follow chapter 1 or chapter 2 to
acquire control capability of the device again.
5. Device status on the APP
There are two device status on theAPP: online and offline.
Online status means the network connection between the mobile phone and the air conditioner if fine.
Offline status means the APP lose connection to the air conditioner.
Figure 5-1 indicates the device is on-line status. Figure 5.-2 indicates the device is offline status.
