Open all screws on the underbody of the original board except the last two at
the end.
Please have a second person to hold the board so it cannot fall down.

Attach bracket no. 1 with the supplied screws. One rleft side and one rigth side.
The screws must be screwed exactly at the positions shown (because they are
different in length) and tightened together with the bracket. 25 - 30 torque are
sufficient.

Now you can install the pivot arms 2 on the left side and two on the right side.
All swivel arms are labeled to which position they need to be fastened.
Attention, these must not be mixed up.

Fix the LED light as seen in the photo.

Now install the wiring harness for the control module as shown in the photo in
the engine compartment. Only the cables for the door control units must be
routed into the interior and clamped.

Side step short version front door only

Side step long version front and rear door only
Now you can attach the tread to the swivel arms.

Please check that the electric side step are fully functional. When the door is
opened, the footboard should extend and the LED lights should light up. If you
have installed the only front door running boards, the side step will only drive
out when the driver's door or just the front passenger door is opened.
If you have installed the front and rear door version, the side step must extend
when the driver's door or the rear door is opened. The same applies to the
passenger side.
After closing the doors, the side step must retract automatically and the LED
light goes out again.
G63 long version front and rear door only
If you use a side step long version front and rear door on a G63 you must also
replace the supplied exhaust. Not comply will cause a collision and damage the
footboard. For this we assume no liability.
