Information about the device
Device description
The device HG 135 permits humidity regulation in combination
with dehumidifiers or humidifiers between 40%RH and
90%RH.
For this purpose, the mains plug of the dehumidifier or
humidifier is connected to the device’s safety socket and the
desired humidity level is set.
With its integrated sensors the device measures the actual
relative humidity and switches the dehumidifier or humidifier on
or off correspondingly.

Assembly and start-up
Mounting the device to the wall
Note
Ensure that a representative measurement of the
humidity level is guaranteed. The measured humidity
values at the installation site should comply with those
of the room. Make sure that the room hygrostat is
positioned in the vertical air current.
Info
Make sure not to damage the cables of the room
hygrostat during the fastening process!
1. Unscrew the outer fastening screws of the room hygrostat
and remove the housing cover(3).
2. Place the room hygrostat on the mounting location
prepared.
3. Use the two eyelets(7) to screw down the room hygrostat
on the wall by means of two screws.

• Avoid open doors and windows.
• Keep a distance from heat sources.
• After being switched on, the device operates fully
automatically.
Setting the target humidity value
Info
In order to classify the history values, observe the
graphic representation Tolerance of the average
switching point in the Annex.
1. Insert the mains plug adapter(1) into a secured mains
socket.
2. Insert the connection plug of the consumer into the mains
plug adapter(1) of the room hygrostat.
3. Use the adjustment wheel(4) to set the target value for the
desired relative humidity level.
ðTurn the adjustment wheel(4) until the desired value is
shown in parallel to the stop bolt(5).
4. Switch on the consumer.
ðThe room hygrostat controls the relative humidity level
via the device connected.
ðWhen target value set has been reached, the consumer
switches off automatically.

Disposal
Always dispose of packing materials in an environmentally
friendly manner and in accordance with the applicable local
disposal regulations.
The icon with the crossed-out waste bin on waste
electrical or electronic equipment is taken from Directive
2012/19/EU. It states that this device must not be disposed of
with the household waste at the end of its life. You will find
collection points for free return of waste electrical and electronic
equipment in your vicinity. The addresses can be obtained from
your municipality or local administration. You can also find out
about other return options that apply for many EU countries on
the website https://hub.trotec.com/?id=45090. Otherwise,
please contact an official recycling centre for electronic and
electrical equipment authorised for your country.
The separate collection of waste electrical and electronic
equipment aims to enable the re-use, recycling and other forms
of recovery of waste equipment as well as to prevent negative
effects for the environment and human health caused by the
disposal of hazardous substances potentially contained in the
equipment.
