INSTALLATION (For ease of installation it is suggested that the wheel be removed)
1. Before you install your Mud Flap Set, see the diagram and parts list for all necessary parts.
2. Remove the (2) factory screws on the inside of the fender and one factory push pin from the underside of the fender.
3. Insert expansion nut into the square hole on the backing plate
4. Gently pull the fender flare away from the body and install the backing plate between the fender flare and body of the truck.
Ensure that the holes in the backing plate are aligned with the factory holes in the fender flare.
5. Loosely install the mud flap through the washer plate into the factory holes and backing plate using the supplied hex bolts
(016041), and nylon washers (054071).
6. Loosely install the brace to the fender through the factory hole using a hex bolt (012022) and flat washer (018052)
and secure using a flat washer (018052), lock washer (024000) and hex nut (025022).
7. Loosely install mud flap to brace using supplied hex bolt (012022) and flat washer (018052) and secure using a
flat washer (018052), lock washer (024000), and hex nut (025022).
6. Using a square or other leveling tool, ensure that the mud flap is level. Adjust the forward-back position of the brace so that
the mud flap is approximately parallel to the tire tread. Tighten all fasteners.
7. Repeat procedure on the passenger side.
