True-Kare K999 User manual

KEYCHAIN GUIDE
When a Keychain is synchronized and
connected or has reconnected to the phone,
a green icon appears on the phone screen.
When a Keychain is not synchronized or not
connected to the phone, a red icon appears
on the phone screen.
If more than one RFID device is synchronized
with the phone, the red icon will only appear
when all devices are not connected.

How does the Keychain work on the
True-Kare phone:

When the Keychain battery is almost empty, you will
receive an alert on your Web Self Care portal and on
your e-mail. If you haven’t disabled this option.
To charge the Keychain use the micro-usb charger provided
in the package.
You can have up to 3 RFID devices synchronized with the phone.
The Keychain looses connection if it’s out of range or has no
battery. If the battery is empty the red light on the device will not
blink and when pressing the SOS button it will not beep.
To trigger the SOS procedure, always press the SOS button until you
hear one beep (Keychain must be ON and connected).
Please configure the SOS procedure according to your needs on
the Web Self Care.

This device is an extension of the True-Kare phone SOS button, it
enables you to activate the SOS procedure even when not close to
the True-Kare phone.
When the Keychain is charging, a steady
red light will appear.
When the Keychain is charged, the light
on the Keychain will be OFF.
How does the Keychain work:
Once you have finished the sync process, you can start using
the Keychain.
Note: Don’t forget to configure your SOS procedure on the Web Self Care.
Press the Keychain button during one beep
to turn ON the Keychain.

Press the Keychain button during one to
five beeps to trigger the SOS procedure
on the phone. A steady red light appears
on the Keychain until the SOS procedure is
triggered on the phone.
Press the Keychain button during nine
beeps to turn OFF the Keychain (use this
feature only when the Keychain is not
going to be used by the phone user,
otherwise it should always be ON).

Make sure your Keychain is charged and turned ON (to turn it
ON press the SOS button on the Keychain until it beeps).Press
the Keychain button during seven beeps. The light will start to
blink. Then search the device on the True-Kare phone:

When the Keychain is synchronized with the phone but not
connected (not connected means the Keychain is not in range), a
red light blinks on the Keychain and it beeps 3 times.
When the Keychain is disconnected (not in range) and the SOS button
is pushed, a red light will appear and will stay turned ON. When the
Keychain reconnects, the SOS will be triggered automatically.
When the Keychain is synchronized and has reconnected to the
phone, it will make a long beep and the light will stop blinking.
