Note!
Audio input and microphone
• The external LINE IN audio input only works in the 4-speaker and 2-speaker modes (Step 23).
• Turn on the microphone amplifier to increase the microphone volume (Step 26-B).
Connecting the speakers
• If the sound of the low tone speaker and the centre speaker has been switched, swap the plugs on
the speaker set or alter the position of the plastic block on the sound card (Step 19-B)
• For some speakers, the rear speakers are called: “surround”.
Surround sound
• Preferably use the latest release of Windows Media Player to play music:

• When playing a DVD, it is often necessary to configure 5.1 speakers in the media player software
(for example, in WinDVD). The centre speaker is only active for speech in films.
