SAFETY WARNINGS AND
PRECAUTIONS

1.1 • Safety warnings
•PLEASE NOTE! – It is important to observe the following instructions
for personal safety. Incorrect installation could lead to serious injury. Therefore,
it is important to read all sections of the manual prior to starting work and, in case of
doubts, ask the installer/manufacturer for explanations.
•CAUTION! – Important safety instructions; save these instructions
for future use. Keep this manual in a safe place to enable future product mainte-
nance and disposal procedures.
1.2 • Installation warnings
•All product installation, connection, programming and maintenance
operations must be performed exclusively by a qualified and skilled
technician, in observance of laws, standards and local regulations
and the instructions in this manual.
•Check the condition of the product immediately after unpacking it.
•Before starting the installation, make sure the product is suited to automate your awn-
ing/shutter (see chapter 3).
•All product installation and maintenance operations must be performed with the auto-
mation disconnected from the power mains. As a precaution, affix a notice with the
text “WARNING: MAINTENANCE IN PROGRESS” on the disconnect device.
•Before starting installation procedures, move away all electric cables not involved in
the work and deactivate all mechanisms not required for motor-driven operation of the
shutter.
•If the product is installed at a height of less than 2.5 m from the floor or other support
surface, the moving parts must be protected with a suitable covering, to avoid inad-
vertent access. For protection, refer to the instruction manual of the shutter, ensuring
that future access for maintenance purposes is guaranteed.
ENGLISH •On sun awnings, a minimum horizontal distance of 40 cm must be guaranteed be-
tween the awning completely open and any fixed object positioned in front.
•During installation, handle the product with care, avoiding the risk of crushing, impact,
dropping or contact with any type of liquid, do not insert sharp objects in the motor,
do not drill or insert screws on the motor exterior and do not place the product in the
vicinity of heat sources or naked flames (fig. 1).
Such actions may damage the product and cause malfunctions or hazards. In such cas-
es, immediately suspend installation and contact the installer/manufacturer.
•Do not disassemble the product in excess of the operations envisaged in this manual.
•Never make any modifications to part of the product other than those specified in this
manual. Operations other than as specified can only cause malfunctions. The manu-
facturer declines all liability for damage caused by makeshift modifications to the
product.
•The product power cable is in PVC; this makes it suitable for installation exclusively in-
doors. If installed outdoors, the cable must be covered with a protection ducting.
•If the power cord is damaged, the product may not be used as the cord cannot be re-
placed. Should this occur, contact the installer/manufacturer.
•During system set-up, keep all persons far from the shutter when moving.
•To control the product, use exclusively hold-to-run type pushbuttons, i.e. which must re-
main pressed for the entire manoeuvre.
•The product packaging material must be disposed of in full observance of current local
legislation governing waste disposal.
1.3 • Operation warnings
•The product should not be used by children or people with impaired physical,
sensorial or mental capacities or who have not received adequate training in the
safe use of the product.
•Do not allow children to play with fixed control devices.
•Take care in the vicinity of the shutter / awning / screen when moving, and keep at
a safe distance until the manoeuvre is completed.
•Frequently check the automation, to detect for imbalance, any signs of wear or dam-
age to cables or springs (if present). Do not use the automation if adjustments or re-
pairs are required. In this case always contact a specialised technician to solve the
problem.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND
INTENDED USE

The product is a tubular motor for automating awnings and shutters. Any other use
is strictly prohibited! The manufacturer declines all liability for dam-
age resulting from improper use of the product and other than as
specified in this manual.
The product has the following features:
- is powered by the mains electricity (verify compatibility on the label attached to the
motor);
- it can move the rolling shutter up and down and stop it at the upper limit switch, the
lower limit switch or at various intermediate positions;
- it has a built-in radio receiver and control unit with encoder technology that electroni-
cally controls the movement and precision of the limit switches;
- it can be programmed and operated with a TTGO transmitter (this accessory is not in-
cluded in the package);
- it is designed for residential use, i.e. discontinuous. It guarantees a continuous operat-
ing time of maximum 4 minutes;
- it is fitted with a thermal cut-out which in the event of overheating due to use of the au-
tomation in excess of the set limits, automatically shuts off the power supply and only
restores operation when the temperature returns within the normal range.

3.1 • Preliminary checks – Application limits
Caution! – Before proceeding with installation, verify the following.
•There are various versions of this product available, each designed to manage a spe-
cific motor torque. Each of these is designed to automate awnings and shutters of a
specified size and weight. Before proceeding with the installation, check that the pre-
sent motor is suited (torque, rotational speed and operating time) for automating your
awning or shutter. Caution! - In particular, do not install the motor if its
torque is greater than that needed to move your awning or shutter.
•Check the diameter of the winding roller. This must be chosen according to the motor
torque, as follows:
- for motors that are size “S” (Ø = 35 mm), the minimum inside diameter of the winding
roller must be 40 mm;
- for motors that are size “M” (Ø = 45 mm) and have a torque of up to 35 Nm (includ-
ed), the minimum inside diameter of the winding roller must be 52 mm;
- for motors that are size “M” (Ø = 45 mm) and have a torque of up to 35 Nm (includ-
ed), the minimum inside diameter of the winding roller must be 60 mm;
- for motors that are size “L” (dia. 58 mm), the inside diameter of the winding roller must
be at least 70 mm.
•If installed outdoors, make sure the motor is adequately protected against atmospheric
agents.
Additional limitations on use are contained in chapters 1 and 2 and in the “Technical
characteristics” section.
3.2 • Tubular motor installation
Warnings:
- Before starting, carefully read the warnings under sections 1.1 and 3.1.
- Incorrect installation may cause severe physical injury.
To assemble and install the motor, refer to fig. 2. Also refer to the catalogue for the limit
switch crown (fig. 2-a), drive wheel (fig. 2-b) and motor bracket (fig. 2-f).

ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

4.1 • Installing safety devices in the electrical
mains
In compliance with the electric installation rules, in the network that powers the motor,
a short circuit protection device and a disconnection device from the mains electricity
must be envisioned.
Attention! – The disconnection device must allow the complete dis-
connection of the power supply, in the conditions established by the
over-voltage category III.
The disconnection device must be located in view of the automation and, if it is not vis-
ible, must envision a system that blocks any accidental or unauthorised re-connection of
the power supply, in order to prevent any danger.
Note – The two devices are not present in the package.
4.2 • Connecting the motor to the mains pow-
er supply
Attention!
•Incorrect connection can cause faults or dangerous situations, therefore scrupulously
respect the instructions given in this paragraph.
•If the power cord is damaged, the product may not be used as the cord cannot be re-
placed. In such cases, contact the installer/manufacturer.
From an electrical perspective, the motor must be permanently powered by means of a
permanent connection to the mains electricity (verify compatibility on the label attached
to the motor). To connect the motor to the mains, use cables 1, 2 and 3 (fig. 3).
4.3 • Associating the Up and Down move-
ments with the respective pushbuttons
On completion of connections, power up the motor and check whether the Up and
Down movements are associated correctly with the relative control pushbuttons. If this is
not the case, invert the connection between the Brown and Black wires.

THE LIMIT SWITCHES

5.1 • General warnings
•The limit switch settings must be adjusted once the motor has been installed to the
awning or shutter and after it has been hooked up to the mains power supply.
•In installations with more than one motor and/or receiver, before starting to program,
you must disconnect the electricity supply to the motors and receivers you do not wish
to program.
•Comply strictly with the time limits indicated in the procedures: after releasing a key,
you have 15 seconds to press the next key indicated in the procedure; otherwise,
when the time is up, the motor will perform six movements to communicate cancella-
tion of the procedure in progress.
•During programming, the motor performs a certain number of brief movements, as a
“response” to the command sent by the installer. It is important to count the number of
these movements without considering the direction in which they are performed.

5.2 • Closed/open positions at which the
awning/s hutter automatically halts
When moving up/down, the motor will automatically halt the awning or shutter when
it reaches the positions programmed by the installer. The programmable positions are
(fig. 4):
– position “0” = up limit: awning/shutter completely retracted;
– position “1” = down limit: awning/shutter completely extended;
– position “H” = intermediate position: awning/shutter partially open.
When the limit switches are not programmed yet, the awning/shutter can be moved on-
ly in “hold-to-run” mode, i.e. keeping the control key pressed for the desired duration of
the manoeuvre; the movement stops as soon as the user releases the key.
However, after programming the limit switches, briefly pressing the appropriate key will
start the awning/shutter and it will stop moving automatically as soon as the awning/
shutter reaches the required position. To adjust the distances “0” and “1” various pro-
cedures are possible; to choose the appropriate one, take into account the structure of
your awning or shutter.

CAUTION! - If you want to adjust again the height of the limit switch-
es adjusted previously, consider the following:
– If you would like to adjust them with an alternative procedure
different from the one used previously, you must FIRST delete the
heights by following procedure 5.12.
– If you wish to adjust them with the same procedure used previous-
ly, you need not delete them.
The programming of the limit switches simultaneously maps the two directions of rota-
tion of the motor to the respective shutter raising key (s) and shutter lowering key (t) of
the control device (initially, when the limit switches are not programmed yet, the combi-
nation is random and it can happen that when pressing the skey, the awning/shutter
moves down instead of up, or vice versa).

5.3 • Overview of transmitters
5.3.1 - Transmitter memorisation hierarchy
In general a transmitter can be memorised as a FIRST transmitter or a SECOND transmit-
ter (or third, fourth, etc.).
A - First transmitter
A transmitter can only be memorised as a first transmitter if no other transmitter is memo-
rised in the motor. For this memorisation, follow procedure 5.5 (this memorises the trans-
mitter).
B - Second transmitter (or third, fourth, etc.)
A transmitter can be memorized as a second transmitter (or third, fourth, etc.) only if in
the motor the First Transmitter is already memorized. For this memorisation, follow one of
the procedures given in section 5.10.
5.3.2 - Number of transmitters that can be memorised
Up to 30 transmitters can be memorised.
5.4 • Transmitter to be used for programming
procedures
If the transmitter used for programming controls more than one group of automation
units, you must select the “group” to which the automation unit you are programming be-
longs, before actually sending a command during a procedure.
5.5 • Memorising the FIRST transmitter
01. Power up the tubular motor;
02. Keep the nkey pressed and wait for the motor to perform 3 movements. Then re-
lease the key.
5.6 • Manual setting of the Up position (“0”)
and Down position (“1”)
These procedures do not write the new positions over any existing ones. The limit posi-
tion must be deleted before proceeding.
5.6.1 - To memorize the UP limit (“0”)
Before starting the procedure, bring the awning/shutter to the midpoint of its travel:
01. Position the awning/shutter at the desired height;
02. Hold down keys nand sand wait for the motor to move 3 times.
Then release the keys.
5.6.2 - To memorize the DOWN limit (“1”)
Before starting the procedure, bring the awning/shutter to the midpoint of its travel:
01. Position the awning/shutter at the desired height;
02. Hold down keys nand tand wait for the motor to move 3 times.
Then release the keys.
Note - After the adjustments, the skey will move the shutter/awning up, and the tkey
will move it down. The awning will move between the two limit positions.
5.6.3 - To delete the UP limit (“0”)
01. Keep the nkey pressed and wait for the motor to perform 2 movements. Now re-
lease the key.
02. Hold down keys nand sand wait for the motor to move 4 times.
Then release the keys.
5.6.4 - To delete the DOWN position (“1”)
01. Keep the nkey pressed and wait for the motor to perform 2 movements. Now re-
lease the key.
02. Hold down keys nand tand wait for the motor to move 4 times.
Then release the keys.
5.7 • Semi-automatic programming of the UP
(“0”) and DOWN (“1”) positions
5.7.1 - Mechanical stop at the UP position (“0”)
CAUTION! - This procedure is to be used only for awnings which
have a mechanical UP position stop (“0”).
Warnings:
– These procedures do not write the new positions over any existing ones.
– Memorizing the limit switches with this procedure, the two heights are controlled and
updated constantly by the “limit switch self-update” function (see paragraph 7.3).
Before starting the procedure, bring the awning to the midpoint of its travel.
01. Run the UP command by holding down the s(or t) key, and wait for the awning
to stop automatically as result of the impact against the structure (= upper limit posi-
tion “0”). Now release the key.
02. Run the DOWN command by holding down the t(or s) key, and release the key
when the awning is at the lower limit position “1”. You can make fine adjustments
by using both keys, as necessary.
03. Hold down keys n + tand wait for the motor to move 3 times. Then release the
keys.

Note:
– You can quit the procedure at any time by simply waiting for 15 seconds, after which
the motor moves 6 times and cancels the procedure.
– After this programming, the skey will move the awning/shutter up and the tkey
will move it down. During the Raising manoeuvre, the awning will be stopped by the
impact against the mechanical blocks of the structure (= upper limit switch “0”), while
during the Lowering manoeuvre the awning will stop at the lower limit switch (“1”) es-
tabilished by the installer.
5.8 • Programming the position (“H”) for par-
tial opening/closing
5.8.1 - To memorize the INTERMEDIATE position (“H”)
This procedure does not write the new position over any existing one. The previous posi-
tion must be deleted before proceeding:
01. Position the awning/shutter at the desired height;
02. Hold down keys sand tand wait for the motor to move three times.
5.8.2 - To delete the INTERMEDIATE position (“H”)
01. Keep the nkey pressed and wait for the motor to perform 2 movements. Now re-
lease the key.
02. Hold down keys sand tand wait for the motor to move 4 times. Then release
the keys.
5.9 • Memorising a SECOND (third, fourth,
etc.) transmitter
To perform this procedure you must have a second transmitter (“old”) already memo-
rized.
5.9.1 - Memorising an additional transmitter
01. (on the new transmitter) keep the nkey pressed for 8 seconds and then re-
lease it (in this case the motor does not perform any movement);
02. (on the old transmitter) Press any key 3 times to send 3 pulses (it must be a
memorized key, the motor will respond accordingly), such as key n;
03. (on the new transmitter) Press the nkey 1 time to complete the procedure.
Caution! – If the motor performs 6 movements, it means that its memory is full.
Note – You can quit the procedure at any time by simply waiting for 15 seconds, after
which the motor moves 6 times and cancels the procedure.
5.10 • Functions
5.10.1 - Adjusting the torque reduction level (RDC function)
01. Keep the nkey pressed and wait for the motor to perform 2 movements. Now re-
lease the key.
02. Keep the nkey pressed and wait for the motor to perform 3 movements. Now re-
lease the key.
03. Hold down keys n + sand wait for the motor to move 4 times. Then release the
key.
a. Hold down key s, activate RDC, and wait for the motor to run 4 movements.
Then release the key.
b. Hold down key t, deactivate RDC, and wait for the motor to run 2 movements.
Then release the key.
Note – You can quit the procedure at any time by simply waiting for 15 seconds, after
which the motor moves 6 times and cancels the procedure.
5.11 • Full delete
5.11.1 - Procedure performed with a memorised transmitter
01. Keep the nkey pressed and wait for the motor to perform 2 movements. Now re-
lease the key.
02. Keep the nkey pressed and wait for the motor to perform 3 movements. Now re-
lease the key.
03. Keep the nkey pressed and wait for the motor to perform 4 movements. Now re-
lease the key.
04. Keep the tkey pressed and wait for the motor to perform 5 movements. Then re-
lease the key.
Note – You can quit the procedure at any time by simply waiting for 15 seconds, after
which the motor moves 6 times and cancels the procedure.
5.11.2 - Procedure performed with an unmemorised transmitter
01. Disconnect the power supply from the motor;
02. Connect the power supply to the motor;
03. Keep the nkey pressed and wait for the motor to perform 2 movements. Now re-
lease the key;
04. Disconnect the power supply from the motor;
05. Connect the power supply to the motor;
06. Keep the nkey pressed and wait for the motor to perform 2 movements. Now re-
lease the key;

OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES
6
6.1 • Climate sensors for wind, sun, rain
WARNING – The climate sensors must not be considered safety devices capable of elimi-
nating failures in the rolling shutter caused by rain or strong wind; in fact a mere power out-
age will prevent the awning from moving. Consequently, these sensors must be considered
components of an automation device for protecting the awning. The manufacturer declines all
liability for any material damages caused by atmospheric events not detected by the sensors.
6.1.1 - Definitions and conventions
•Manual “Sun On” Command = enables reception, by the motor, of automatic
commands transmitted by the “Sun” sensor if present in the installation. When recep-
tion is enabled, the user can send manual commands at any time: these override the
automatic operation of the automated device.
•Manual “Sun Off” Command = disables reception, by the motor, of automatic
commands transmitted by the “Sun” sensor if present in the installation. When the re-
ception is disabled, the automated device operates exclusively with the manual com-
mands sent by the user. The “Wind” and “Rain” sensors cannot be disabled because
they protect the automated device from these atmospheric phenomena.
•“Above-threshold” intensity of sun/wind = condition where the intensity
of the atmospheric phenomenon corresponds to high values above the set threshold.
•“Below-threshold” intensity of sun/wind = condition where the intensity
of the atmospheric phenomenon corresponds to low values below the set threshold.
•“Wind protection” = a condition in which the system inhibits all the awning open-
ing commands because of the over threshold wind intensity.
•“Presence of rain” = a condition in which the system detects the presence of
rain, with respect to the previous condition of “absence of rain”.
•“Manual command” = UP, DOWN or Stop command sent by the user by means
of a transmitter.
6.1.2 - Behaviour of the motor in each kind of weather condition
The climate sensors allow you to automate awning/shutter operation in relation to the
current weather conditions.
For all sensors, the actuation setpoints must be programmed on the sensors themselves.
6.1.2.1 - Response of the automation to the Sun sensor (fig. 5)
When the intensity of the sunlight exceeds the set threshold for at least two minutes, the
motor automatically lowers the awning/shutter.
When the intensity of the sunlight drops below the specified hysteresis threshold (around
50% of the threshold value) and remains there for at least 15 minutes continuously, the
motor automatically raises the awning/shutter.
Momentary reductions in sunlight intensity for less than 15 minutes, do not affect the
overall cycle.
Manual commands generated by the user are in addition to the automatic commands.
6.1.2.2 -Response of the automation to the Rain sensor (fig. 6)
The presence of rain causes a transition from the “non-rain” state to the “rain” state.
When the motor receives the “presence of rain” information, it activates the command
programmed in the motor for this state, i.e. it opens or closes the awning/shutter.
Programming the rain detection actuation direction
01. Keep the nkey pressed and wait for the motor to perform 2 movements. Now re-
lease the key.
02. Keep the nkey pressed and wait for the motor to perform 3 movements. Now re-
lease the key.
03. Hold down keys n + sand wait for the motor to move two times. Then release the key.
a. Hold down key s, activate RDC, and wait for the motor to run 3 movements.
Then release the key.
b. Hold down key t, deactivate RDC, and wait for the motor to run 3 movements.
Then release the key.
Note – You can quit the procedure at any time by simply waiting for 15 seconds, after
which the motor moves 6 times and cancels the procedure.
6.1.2.3 -Response of the automation to the Wind sensor (fig. 7)
If the wind exceeds the setpoint value, the automation closes the awning. With wind
protection activated, the manual commands are deactivated and it is not possible to
open the awning.
At the end of the barring period, the manual commands are reactivated and after 15
minutes, automatic operation is restored.

6.1.2.4 - Behaviour of the system with various weather conditions at
the same time
Each condition has a priority level. The scale of priorities is the following: wind, rain,
sun. Wind has the highest priority. A condition with higher priority neutralises one with
lower priority.
Example:
On a beautiful sunny day the awning is lowered due to the effect of the sunlight.
If some clouds arrive and a drop of rain falls on the sensor, the motor neutralises the “sun
present” condition and actuates the manoeuvre specified for “rain present”.
If the wind increases and exceeds the set threshold, the motor deactivates the specified
automatic sequence for rain and will send a command to raise the awning, and locks it
in the closed position for as long as it is windy.
When the thunderstorm stops, the wind alarm condition elapses after 10 minutes and,
at this point, if the “rain present” condition persists, the setting for this is reactivated and
the established manoeuvre is commanded again. When the rain condition ceases, the
routine for sun conditions are re-established. If the sunlight intensity exceeds the thresh-
old, the awning will re-open.
When the sunlight intensity falls below the threshold level for at least 15 minutes, a com-
mand will be sent to raise the awning.
6.1.2.5 -Sun-On and Sun-Off commands
The Sun-ON and Sun-OFF commands enable/disable automatic operation.
Sending a Sun-On command enables automatic operation, so that in strong sunlight the
awning is lowered automatically. If automatic operation is already enabled, the com-
mand resets the systems, and the detection/actuation algorithms start again with imme-
diate effect. When it receives a Sun-ON command, and no movement is required by
the algorithms, the motor will respond by moving twice. If a Sun-On command is sent
but the level of sunlight is not such as to open the awning (the sunlight threshold is not
exceeded), the motor will generate a command to close it according to the conditions
at that time. If no movement is required (for example, the awning is already closed and
the sunlight level is low), when it receives the Sun-On command the motor will move
twice to confirm reception. Sending a Sun-Off command disables automatic operation.
For example: awning closed … press Sun-On, the awning immediately opens (if there
is sufficient sunlight), not 2 minutes later. If there is insufficient sunlight to open the awn-
ing, the motor moves twice…
Disabling automatic operation inhibits automatic operation by the sunlight algorithm.
The automatic functions associated with wind and rain cannot be deactivated.
WARNINGS FOR EVERYDAY USE OF
THE MECHANISM

7.1 • RDC function
This function reduces the force with which the mechanism closes at the top limit.
7.2 • Maximum continuous work cycle
In general, the tubular motors are designed for residential, and hence sporadic, use.
They guarantee a maximum continuous operating time of 4 minutes and in cases of
overheating (e.g. caused by continuous prolonged operation) a safety “thermal protec-
tion device” intervenes to cut the power supply, restoring it when the temperature returns
to normal.

“Automatic limit switch update” function
Every time the awning collides with its top position, the limit switches adjusted by the
impact of the mechanical blocks (safety plugs and rigid anti-intrusion springs) are veri-
fied by the “Automatic limit switch update” to determine whether they have moved. This
allows the function to measure the new limit switch values and update the existing ones,
thereby recovering any slack due to wear and/or thermal shocks to which the parts of
the structure and the motor’s springs are subjected.
The constant update of the heights allows the awning to always reach the limit switch
with maximum precision. This function is not activated when the stroke of the awning
lasts for less than 2.5 seconds and does not reach the limit switch.
7.4 • Commanding partial opening/closing of
the awning (height “H”)
In general, to command the partial opening/closing of the awning, press the key as-
sociated with the partial height during programming (for more information, read point
06 of procedure 5.9). If the transmitter has only three keys and only one “H” height is
memorised, press keys sand ttogether to recall it.

•When an Up command is sent, the motor does not start:
This can happen if the awning is near the Upper limit switch (“0”). In this case you
must lower the awning a little bit and give the Raise command again.

•The system operates in the emergency condition with an operator
present:
– Check to see if the motor has undergone a significant thermal or mechanical shock.
– Make sure each part of the motor is still in good condition.
– Run the deletion procedure (paragraph 5.12) and adjust the limit switches again.

1.2 • Avvertenze per l’installazione
•Tutte le operazioni di installazione, di collegamento, di program-
mazione e di manutenzione del prodotto devono essere effettuate
esclusivamente da un tecnico qualificato e competente, rispettando
le leggi, le normative, i regolamenti locali e le istruzioni riportate
in questo manuale.
•Verificare l’integrità del prodotto subito dopo aver aperto l’imballo.
•Prima di iniziare l’installazione verificare se il presente prodotto è adatto ad automa-
tizzare la vostra tenda o tapparella (leggere il capitolo 3).
•Tutte le operazioni di installazione e di manutenzione del prodotto devono essere ef-
fettuate con l’automatismo scollegato dall’alimentazione elettrica. Per precauzione, at-
taccare sul dispositivo di sconnessione un cartello con la scritta “ATTENZIONE! MA-
NUTENZIONE IN CORSO”.
•Prima di iniziare le operazioni di installazione, allontanare tutti i cavi elettrici che non
sono coinvolti nel lavoro; inoltre, disattivare tutti i meccanismi non necessari al funzio-
namento motorizzato dell’avvolgibile.

ITALIANO •Se il prodotto è installato ad un’altezza inferiore a 2,5 m dal pavimento o da altra su-
perficie di appoggio, è necessario proteggere le sue parti in movimento con una co-
pertura, per impedire l’accesso accidentale. Per la protezione fare riferimento al ma-
nuale istruzioni dell’avvolgibile garantendo in ogni caso l’accesso per gli interventi di
manutenzione.
•Nelle tende da sole, è necessario garantire una distanza orizzontale minima di 40
cm tra la tenda completamente aperta e un eventuale oggetto fisso, posizionato di
fronte.
•Durante l’installazione maneggiare con cura il prodotto: evitare schiacciamenti, urti,
cadute o contatti con qualsiasi liquido; non introdurre oggetti appuntiti nel motore;
non forare e non applicare viti all’esterno del motore; non mettere il prodotto vicino a
fonti di calore e non esporlo a fiamme libere (fig. 1).
Queste azioni possono danneggiare il prodotto ed essere causa di malfunzionamenti
o situazioni di pericolo. In questi casi sospendere immediatamente l’installazione e ri-
volgersi all’installatore/produttore.
•Non smontare il prodotto oltre alle operazioni previste in questo manuale.
•Non eseguire modifiche su nessuna parte del prodotto oltre a quelle riportate in que-
sto manuale. Operazioni non permesse possono causare solo malfunzionamenti. Il
costruttore declina ogni responsabilità per danni derivanti da modifiche arbitrarie al
prodotto.
•Il cavo di alimentazione del prodotto è in PVC ed è adatto esclusivamente per essere
installato all’interno. Se l’installazione avviene all’esterno, coprire tutto il cavo con un
tubo di protezione.
•Se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato, il prodotto non può essere utilizzato perché
il cavo non può essere sostituito. In questi casi, contattare l’installatore/produttore.
•Durante la realizzazione dell’impianto, mantenere le persone lontane dall’avvolgibile
quando questo è in movimento.
•Per comandare il prodotto utilizzare esclusivamente pulsanti che funzionano a “uomo
presente”, cioè che occorre mantenerli premuti per l’intera durata della manovra.
•Il materiale dell’imballo del prodotto deve essere smaltito nel pieno rispetto della nor-
mativa locale.
1.3 • Avvertenze per l’uso
•Il prodotto non è destinato a essere usato da persone (bambini compresi) le cui capa-
cità fisiche, sensoriali o mentali siano ridotte, oppure con mancanza di esperienza o
di conoscenza, a meno che esse non abbiano potuto beneficiare, attraverso l’interme-
diazione di una persona responsabile della loro sicurezza, di una sorveglianza o di
istruzioni riguardanti l’uso del prodotto.
•Non permettere ai bambini di giocare con i dispositivi di comando fissi.
•Fare attenzione all’avvolgibile quando questo è in movimento e mantenersi lontano
da esso fino al completamento della manovra in atto.
•Quando si eseguono lavori di pulizia dei vetri nei pressi dell’automazione, non azio-
nare i dispositivi di comando; se questi sono di tipo automatico, scollegare anche l’a-

limentazione elettrica.
•Sottoporre l’automazione ad esame frequente per verificare se ci sono sbilanciamenti
o segni di usura o danni ai cavi e alle molle (se questi sono presenti). Non utilizzare
l’automazione se questa necessita di regolazioni o riparazione; rivolgersi esclusiva-
mente a personale tecnico specializzato per la soluzione di questi problemi.

Il prodotto è un motore tubolare destinato all’automatizzazione di tende e tapparelle.
Qualsiasi altro uso è vietato! Il produttore non risponde dei danni ri-
sultanti da un uso improprio del prodotto, rispetto a quanto descritto
in questo manuale.
Il prodotto ha le seguenti caratteristiche:
- è alimentato dalla rete elettrica (vedere compatibilità sull’etichetta presente sul motore);
- è in grado di muovere l’avvolgibile in Salita e in Discesa e può fermarla nel finecorsa
alto, basso oppure in varie posizioni intermedie.
- integra un ricevitore radio e una centrale di comando con tecnologia ad encoder che
garantisce il controllo elettronico del movimento e la precisione dei finecorsa;
- può essere programmato ed utilizzato con un trasmettitore TTGO (accessorio non pre-
sente nella confezione);
- l’intero motore tubolare si installa all’interno del rullo avvolgitore e la faccia esterna
del presente prodotto può essere fissata direttamente al fianco del cassonetto oppure
utilizzando apposite staffe di supporto (non presenti nella confezione);
- è dotato di un protettore termico che, in caso di surriscaldamento dovuto a un utiliz-
zo dell’automazione oltre i limiti previsti, interrompe automaticamente l’alimentazione
elettrica e la ripristina appena la temperatura si normalizza;

3.1 • Verifiche preliminari - limiti d’impiego
Attenzione! – Prima di procedere all’installazione, verificare i se-
guenti aspetti.
•Il presente prodotto è disponibile in varie versioni, ciascuna con una determinata cop-
pia motore. Ognuna di queste è progettata per automatizzare tende e tapparelle con
determinate caratteristiche di dimensioni e peso. Quindi, prima di procedere all’instal-
lazione, verificare se le caratteristiche del presente motore (coppia motore, velocità
di rotazione e tempo di funzionamento) sono adatte ad automatizzare la vostra ten-
da o tapparella. Attenzione! - Non installare un motore con capacità di
coppia motore maggiore di quella necessaria a muovere la vostra
tenda o tapparella.
•Verificare il diametro del rullo avvolgitore. Questo deve essere scelto in base alla cop-
pia del motore, nel modo seguente:
- per i motori con taglia “S” (Ø = 35 mm), il diametro interno minimo del rullo avvolgi-
tore deve essere di 40 mm;
- per i motori con taglia “M” (Ø = 45 mm) e coppia fino a 35 Nm (compresa), il dia-
metro interno minimo del rullo avvolgitore deve essere di 52 mm;
- per i motori con taglia “M” (Ø = 45 mm) e coppia maggiore di 35 Nm, il diametro
interno minimo del rullo avvolgitore deve essere di 60 mm;
- per i motori con taglia “L” (Ø = 58 mm), il diametro interno minimo del rullo avvolgi-
tore deve essere di 70 mm.
•Nel caso di installazione all’esterno, garantire al motore un’adeguata protezione da-
gli agenti atmosferici.
Ulteriori limiti d’impiego sono contenuti nei capitoli 1, 2 e nelle “Caratteristiche tec-
niche”.
3.2 • Installazione del motore tubolare
Avvertenze:
- Prima di procedere, leggere attentamente le avvertenze riportate nei paragrafi 1.1 e
3.1.
- L’installazione non corretta può causare gravi ferite.
Per assemblare e installare il motore fare riferimento alla fig. 2. Inoltre, consultare il cata-
logo per scegliere la corona del finecorsa (fig. 2-a), la ruota di trascinamento (fig. 2-b)
e la staffa di fissaggio del motore (fig. 2-f).

4.1 • Installazione dei dispositivi di protezione
all’interno della rete di alimentazione
elettrica
In conformità alle regole di installazione elettrica, nella rete che alimenta il motore è ne-
cessario prevedere un dispositivo di protezione contro il corto circuito e un dispositivo
di sconnessione dalla rete elettrica.
Attenzione! – Il dispositivo di sconnessione deve consentire la discon-
nessione completa dell’alimentazione, nelle condizioni stabilite dalla
categoria di sovratensione III.
Il dispositivo di sconnessione deve essere collocato in vista dell’automazione e, se non
è visibile, deve prevedere un sistema che blocca un’eventuale riconnessione accidenta-
le o non autorizzata dell’alimentazione, al fine di scongiurare qualsiasi pericolo.
Nota – I due dispositivi non sono presenti nella confezione.
4.2 •Collegamento del motore alla rete elettrica
Attenzione!
•Un collegamento errato può provocare guasti o situazioni di pericolo; quindi, rispetta-
re scrupolosamente le istruzioni di questo paragrafo.
•Se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato, il prodotto non può essere utilizzato perché
il cavo non può essere sostituito. In questi casi, contattare l’installatore/produttore.
Dal punto di vista elettrico il motore deve essere alimentato in modo permanente, attra-
verso un collegamento permanente alla rete di distribuzione elettrica (vedere compatibi-
lità sull’etichetta presente sul motore). Per collegare il motore alla rete elttrica utilizzare
i cavi 1, 2, 3 (fig. 3).
4.3 • Abbinamento dei movimenti di Salita e
Discesa ai rispettivi pulsanti
Al termine dei collegamenti, alimentare il motore e verificare se i movimenti di Salita e
Discesa sono correttamente abbinati ai rispettivi pulsanti di comando. Se non è così, in-
vertire il collegamento tra i conduttori Marrone e Nero.

5.1 • Avvertenze generali
•La regolazione dei finecorsa deve essere eseguita dopo aver effettuato l’installazione
del motore nella tenda o tapparella e dopo il collegamento alla rete elettrica.
•In situazioni d’installazione dove sono presenti più motori e/o più ricevitori, prima di
effettuare la programmazione è necessario togliere l’alimentazione elettrica ai motori
e ai ricevitori che non si desidera programmare.
•È importante rispettare rigorosamente i limiti di tempo indicati nelle procedure: dal
momento in cui si rilascia un tasto, sono disponibili 15 secondi per premere il tasto
successivo previsto nella procedura; altrimenti, allo scadere del tempo il motore
esegue 6 movimenti per comunicare l’annullamento della procedura in corso.
•Durante la programmazione il motore esegue un determinato numero di brevi
movimenti, come “risposta” al comando inviato dall’installatore. È importante contare
il numero di questi movimenti e non considerare la direzione nella quale vengono
eseguiti.
