Tumble Star Air Track Installation guide

Safety Instructions
These instructions apply to all inflatable products from Tumble Star. Air Products are
designed as training equipment for gymnastics, cheerleading, tumbling, school sports,
show groups, martial arts, parkour, free running and tricking.
1. Never use a damagedAir Product.
2. Do not wear shoes while on an Air Product and keep your pets away from your air
products for they may damage or scratch the surface.
3. Never place an Air Product near overhead obstructions, such as trees or power lines,
nor place the equipment on a slope. The area on which the Air Product is placed must be
clean, dry, flat and free of obstacles.
4. Always set up the Air Product in the same area where you will be using it. When
repositioning the Air Product, do not drag it. Lift it by the handles and avoid scraping.
5. Do not bring any sharp items on or close to theAir Product.
6. Avoid jumping or landing closer than 20 cm to a valve.
7. Assure that the Air Product has sufficient air pressure to avoid injury. Recommended air
pressure levels can be found in this user manual.
8. Do not use the Air Product without using landing mats on both ends. For safety reasons,
also position landing mats on the sides.
9. Do not use the Air Product in the rain. While inflating the equipment, electrocution may
occur and also the surface will be slippery which can cause injuries.
10. Do not exposeAir Products to heat, including heat from long exposure to the sun.
11. When setting up theAir Product outdoor, use a groundsheet to avoid damaging theAir
Product.
12. Never pack, store or transport the Air Product when it is wet.
13. The Air Product is cleaned with water and soft soap. Do not use industrial cleaning
products.
14. Never leave an Air Product outside unattended and keep the air pressure under the
maximum values described in this guide.
15. Be aware thatAir Products are not designed as landing mats.

Air pressure levels
Above pressure levels can be used as a guideline but the optimal pressure level greatly
depends on the skill level and weight of the users, as well as the type of sports and
preferred effect.
The bounciness of theAir Product depends on how much pressure you put in it. If filled up
to the maximum pressure, an Air Track can feel exactly like a dead floor (which is useful
for competition training). Inflating it to a standard level will make it optimal for low to
mid-level training, while inflating it to a minimum level will make it more fun for recreational
purposes.
Note: It is impossible to over-pressurize an Air Product with the blowers we supply. To
prevent damaging the Air Product, never use a blower other than the one supplied with
your equipment.
Set-up
! Please make sure you have read the safety instructions before setting up your Air
Product.
1. Pick the right location for the Air Product. To prevent damage, make sure there is no
debris in the area. If you’re using the Air Product outside, always use a ground cover.
2. Move the Air Product in its transport bag to the desired location.
3. Take the Air Product out of the bag and make sure it’s unrolled far enough to reach all
the valves. Further instructions depend on the kind of valves on the Air Product.
4. Pump up the track to minimum 1psi or to your desired pressure.
5. Once fully inflated, remove the inflation adaptor and cover the caps.
6. Enjoy your Air track.

Packing
1. Open all valves to start the deflation. Start folding or rolling up theAir Product to speed
up the deflation. (A blower can be used to deflate the object more rapidly)
2. When most of the air is out, fold the Air Product so the width matches the transport
bag. For regular Air Tracks this means you should fold the sides towards the middle
line and then fold it once more.
3. Roll up the Air Product towards the valves so they remain unblocked for as long as
possible. The tighter you roll up the object, the easier it will be to transport it
4. IMPORTANT: After rolling up the Air Product make sure to close all valves! This
prevents the caps from damaging the valves’ screw thread. Use the black strap to
keep the mat rolled up tight.

5. Slide the bag over the roll and flip it, or lift the roll into the bag. Close the Velcro flaps,
then the other flaps and close the bag by tightening the straps.
Problem Solving
Does your Air Product seem to be leaking?
Make sure that all valves are closed properly. The pins inside of the grey valves are often
left open (pin in) when the cap is placed on the valve, which means the valve will still be
leaking air. Always make sure the valve is closed (pin out) before placing the cap on it.
Still leaking? Re-inflating your Air Product once per day is not unusual because
differences in temperatures will cause it to lose a bit of pressure (especially overnight). If
you have doubts, please contact us for a professional opinion.

Can’t fit the Air Product back in its bag?
Please empty the air as much as possible according to the packing method above.
Be sure to keep the width of the bag in mind when folding up the Air Product. Place the
bag at one end of the mat and match the folds to the bag’s width to fit it in perfectly.
FAQ
Q: 24 Hours after inflation the air track is not hard enough anymore, do I need to repair
this?
A:Air tracks are not designed to maintain their pressure overnight. Because of differences
in temperatures it loses a bit of air and therefore inflating it once per day is not unusual.
When you have doubts, please contact us for a professional opinion.
Q: What is the lifespan on your products?
A: Obviously this will depend on how the products are used and in what frequency. A
lifespan of more than 5 years is definitely not uncommon.
Q: How long does it take to inflate an air track?
A: The majority of the air products can be inflated within 4 minutes thanks to our high
performance blowers. A 12 x 2 x 0.2 m air track takes around 5 minutes to inflate using a
single Bravo blower.
Q: How to prevent damaging the valves?
A: Valves represent the greatest opportunity for failure. Some tips to prevent damage:
1) Be careful not to step on the valves.
2) The gasket around the valve helps keep it airtight; don't lose it!
3) Always close the valves when transporting to prevent the damaging the mat and valves.
Q: What type of material do you use to make the products?
A: All of our products use Double Wall Fabric (DWF) consisting of 2 layers of coated vinyl
with thousands of threads connecting the two. Our proprietary DWF is specially
engineered for athletic training.
For air track mat, there is a vinyl center line for trainers to feel it and check their action.
Also Velcro to connect different air track mats for different usage.

For SUP board and water board, there will be anti-slip EVA material on top of DWF
material.
Q: What guarantees do you give on your products?
A: 2 years guarantee (1 year international). Our manufacturer warrants its air products to
be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and service
conditions. Warranty is not extended to items such as, but not limited to, cuts, punctures,
abrasions, burns, or use of abrasive or caustic cleansers.
Q: When ourAir Product is leaking, how can you help us?
A: First of all, check if all valves are properly closed. If a valve is leaking, please contact us.
A puncture in the surface or damage to a seam could cause your Air Product to leak. For
both options we have a solution that is both simple and cheap. You do not have to send
the equipment back to us; you can fix it using the repair material in the package. Repairs
take no longer than 10 minutes.
Q: If our air track has a hole by accident, what kind of glue is recommended?
A: The general PVC glue is ok. If you want to use high quality glue, then we recommend
Pattex Brand because we use this brand glue on our air products.
