ID-Lock Smart Overview

What is ID-Lock Smart?
ID-Lock Smart is a lock system t at prevents unwanted access to rooms in a nursing ome or
similar indoor environments. It is not designed for ig security applications, suc as
external doors to a resident ome or office.
You can always open doors in an ID-Lock Smart installation from t e inside by just pulling
t e door andle wit out any key or transmitter, w ile t e outside andle only works w en
t e door is unlocked. Many otel rooms use t is same functionality.
T e residents only need to wear a small pendant transmitter in order to unlock t e doors
t ey ave access to, wit out any manual interaction.
T e staff can unlock all doors t ey ave access to wit a special staff transmitter or mobile
p one, or wit a regular (p ysical) key.
T e ID-Lock Smart system consists of a position transmitter (IDT), a control box (TM2) and
an electronic lock mounted over t e door’s andle.
T e electric lock as a sleek design. It is mounted on t e inside of t e resident’s door,
wit out affecting eit er t e door or t e lock-case.
Because t e electrical lock is completely battery-powered, no expensive electrical
installations are required in t e door itself. T e only electrical requirement is t e availability
of a 12V or 24V DC source close to t e door to power t e IDT and t e TM2-box.
