HOW FURTHER REFERENCE
• Combined weight of only 3.7 kg for motor and
battery - keeps bike weight low for nimble
handling and natural ride feel
• Up to 240 watts of additional motor support
for easy climbing
• For most riders, getting additional
240 watts of motor support means about
doubling their own leg power. This is why
we say ‘2x you’ for the SL Technology.
•
long range
• 170 mm of plush, responsive, super-capable
travel
• Six Bar Linkage design improves handling
by lowering andcentralizing mass (linkage and
shock), reducing the center of gravity and
moment of inertia. This, in turn, translates to
more stable yet responsive handling and a
livelier feel on the trail.
• Total suspension performance involves chassis
stiffness, kinematics, leverage rates, spring
curves, damping performance, and tunability,
all designed and working together to achieve a
singular, elevated ride quality on the trail
• Regardless of where - or how - you ride,
the Kenevo Super Light can be tuned to deliver
exactly the ride you want thanks to its adjust
able geometry
• Six distinct settings allow you to hone handling
characteristics to suit your style and terrain.

RIDER HEIGHT
All weights taken in size S3, w/o pedals and w/o Range Extender battery.
Deviations for same size/model can occur. e.g. due to paint scheme and tire tolerances.
Kenevo SL models are available in frame sizes S2-S5.
S-Sizing is based on what matters: rider size and style, not inseam.
Four sizes, all with similar headtube lengths and standover,
allow you to choose the size that best suits your individual style.
Smaller S-Size numbers are going to be nimble, thanks to their
shorter reach and front-center measurement, while bigger
S-Sizes deliver more stability and a roomier ride.

MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM SADDLE HEIGHTS
The below table references the min/max.saddle heights for
each frame size. These numbers are reference points only;
measurements can vary by +/-15mm depending on saddle
type and saddle position.
MEASURING REQUIREMENTS
• Default seatposts, fully extended
• Measuring points: centre of bottom bracket to centre of
a level saddle (see green line)
• MINIMUM SADDLE HEIGHT = Post inserted as far into the
frame as will allow and dropper travel at full extension
• MAXIMUM SADDLE HEIGHT = Post inserted to the
‘minimum insert’ line and dropper travel at full extension

MODEL OVERVIEW (MY 2022)
BIKE GEOMETRY
• The geometry of Kenevo SL is based on the Enduro, with
very similar head tube and seat tube angles, chainstay
length, and reach measurements
• Kenevo SL takes the Enduro geometry one step further by
offering the same level of adjustability found on the new
Stumpjumper EVO and Levo
• Six distinct settings can hone handling characteristics to suit
your style and terrain
• Head angle can be set at 62.5, 63.5, or 64.5 degrees -
• Bottom bracket height and chainstay length adjustment
options through Flip Chip at horst pivot: bottom bracket
height from 350-356mm, chainstay lengths from 442-47 mm
• Bike can be set up to be short/playful, or long/slack for stability,
depending on terrain or rider preference
• Just like the race-driven Enduro, the Kenevo SL is a 29er
only
to carry momentum over obstacles for maximum speed
ADJUSTABLE GEOMETRY
1. Bottom bracket height adjustment 2. Head angle adjustment

FRAME CONSTRUCTION & MEASUREMENTS
• All frames are made from FACT
11m carbon with a full monocoque
front triangle; rear triangles are
full carbon, too
•
`Full monocoque` means that the front
triangle is molded as one solid piece,
which makes it very stiff and light
• Rider First Engineering ensures all
Riders receive consistent handling
and comfort, regardless of frame size
• Each frame size has unique stiffness
targets optimized for tube length and
Rider size
• The full monocoque front triangle
achieves these stiffness targets
without excess material

MAX. INSERTION DEPTH
• Easy routing: channels for shift
housing and brake hose are installed
in the chainstays, so that housing/
hose can be easily inserted at the
rear triangle
• The chainstay channels terminate
near the motor, where a cable channel
in the downtube carries the housing
to the top
• Housing/hoses are free at motor,
otherwise guided

• Turbo Kenevo SL come stock with 29”
wheels and 2.3” tires, front and rear
• For best tire and mud shedding clear
ance, it is recommended to not run
wider tires than default
• The bike is designed and optimized
for 29 only - a `mullet setup` (27.5”
rear wheel) is not recommended
• If Riders wanted to set the bike up
mullet, they could raise the bottom
bracket, but the bike was not designed
for this; the bottom bracket will be
extremely low, and the head angle
would be very slack.
Adjusting the Flip Chip to the high
position and head angle to the steep po-
sition would help, but Riders still would
risk smacking their pedals/cranks.
KENEVO SL IS DESIGNED AND

WHEEL/TIRE COMPATIBILITY
This is a short summary - please contact
Rider Care for more details.
It is important to adhere to some
technical requirements when choosing
an integrated wired light in conjunction
with a Turbo SL bicycle.
Needed hardware to connect lights:
• S216800001: ELE MY20 SL WIRING,
Y-SPLITTER FOR LIGHT, NO FUSE
• A rated front/rear light with
compatible mount: 12 V only,
8 W/650 mA max.
WARNING! Running unrated lights can
cause permanent damage to the system
• If you also wire a rear light, make
sure power consumption of both lights
does not exceed 8 W/650 mA max.
OPTIONS FOR WIRED LIGHTS
Specialized 26oz water bottle
• Cage position may impact bottle
compatibility
• The optional Range Extender battery
•
A bottle cage with a SWAT tool does
not work with a Range Extender
battery
WATER BOTTLE COMPATIBILITY
All bikes come tubeless ready (tubeless
valves included, tubeless rim strips
mounted, tires compatible).
TUBELESS COMPATIBILITY
• S-Works: Praxis Carbon cranks
• Expert / Comp Carbon:
Praxis alloy cranks
• S2: 165 mm
• S3/S4/S5: 170 mm
The cranks are deliberately shorter to
avoid crank arm strokes in technical
uphills and in trail sections you have to
pedal in. This ensures riders have
consistent motor support to tackle
technically challenging segments.

SUSPENSION & KINEMATICS
Suspension and kinematics are based on Enduro. This means
that Riders get a very capable bike to master challenging trails
MAIN INGREDIENTS:
• Kinematics, based on 6-bar linkage
• Choice of suspension components
• RX Shock Tune
GENERAL
• Rear, default and max.: 170 mm (S2-S5)
• Front, default and max.: 170 mm (S2-S5)
MAX. TRAVEL
• Rx stands for `Recommended Experience` which means
that shocks are custom-tuned for each bike platform and
the experience to achieve optimal performance
• Rx tunes for MY22 Kenevo SL shocks are very similar to
the tunes used in Enduro bikes
• The only difference is rebound. Kenevo SL features more
low speed rebound than Enduro, resulting in a slightly
more digressive rebound curve
• The reason is that with 170 mm of travel and more extra
sprung weight, we wanted to keep the bike from wallowing
and being over-active; this is exactly what the custom
rebound setting achieves
• Beyond that, compression tune and spring tune mimic our
Enduro almost exactly
RX TUNE (SHOCKS)
• Shock length/stroke: 230 x 62.5 mm
• Using compatible aftermarket-shocks is technically
possible, but you get the best performance with the original
RX tuned shock
• Coil shocks can be used, but it needs to be ensured the
reservoir does not hit the seat tube
• For instance, on Fox Float X the version with the shorter
reservoir needs to be chosen over the one which typically
comes on a 230mm shock
• From manual on shock compatibility/options:
‘Specialized frames are generally designed and tested to
work with the suspension components provided as original
equipment. When changing out shocks, be aware certain
models of shocks may not be compatible with the frame due
to the position of the shock reservoir, size, and/or other

Kinematics are very similar to Enduro. The axle path is a bit
more rearward compared to Enduro. (See graph)
BENEFITS OF THE 6-BAR LINKAGE DESIGN
• It offers 12 different design variables we can manipulate to
dial in all of the kinematic traits we expect from a trail bike
of this caliber
• Compared to the 4-bar linkage we use in the Stumpjumper/
Levo family, the 6-bar design gives us greater control to
individually tune anti-squat, anti-rise, axle path, and
leverage rate because of the extra links
• 6-bars also lower the center of gravity of the bike by keeping
the shock and links close to the bottom bracket. This increases
stability and allows for easier directional changes on trail
WHEN DO WE CHOOSE A 4-BAR OR 6-BAR DESIGN?
• A 6-bar design adds some weight and delivers a little less
“snappy” or playful feeling than the 4-bar design
• For these reasons, we use 6-bar designs on bikes whose
downhill capability and suspension performance is the
priority, like Kenevo SL
and/or playful handling are major considerations

Please refer to the schematics on the Service Website for wiring
and routing (not available yet at point of bike launch).
GENERAL ROUTING
• Easy routing: channels for shift housing and brake hose are
installed in the chainstays, so that housing/hose can be easily
inserted at the rear triangle
• The chainstay channels terminate near the motor, where a
cable channel in the downtube carries the housing to the top
• Housing/hoses are free at motor, otherwise guided
HEAD TUBE CABLE PORTS
The cable ports in the head tube are identical to the ones used in
Stumpjumper Evo/Levo SL (S206500008).

Please refer to the Workbook
‘Turbo SL Technology System: Features & Benets’
to learn all about it (motor, batteries, harness, charger, system
behaviour, Mission Control App, etc.).
All MY22 Kenevo SL models use the known Turbo SL Technology,
with two key differences:
• MasterMind TCU on all models
• Dedicated Range Extender
Cable length (285 mm)
TURBO SL TECHNOLOGY
GENERAL

TURBO SL TECHNOLOGY
BASIC THEORY OF OPERATION
THREE COMPONENTS ARE PART OF THE CAN BIKE SYSTEM COMMUNICATION (COMPONENTS ‘TALK’ TO EACH OTHER):
1. MasterMind TCU (can be seen as the master of the bike,
also allowing external communication through Bluetooth, ANT+ and USB-C
2. Motor
3. Batteries (Internal and/or Range Extender)
(Speed Sensor and remote act as switches and are not part of the bike communication as such)
THIS HAPPENS WHEN THE (MASTERMIND) TCU IS SWITCHED ON:
• Switch in (MasterMind) TCU closes circuit
• Wakeline activates battery
• Battery (internal or RE) sends 48V to the motor
• Battery (internal or RE) sends 12V to the (MasterMind) TCU
• (MasterMind) TCU starts, display is on
• System is active
NOTE ON ROLE OF RE BATTERY:
(send 12V to MasterMind TCU to start-up the system; also part of CAN communication)
• If an SL bike does not turn on, most likely the internal battery cannot supply its 12V – then a RE battery can be used to check
if it really is the internal battery or the connection main harness-battery inside the frame – this is one example how to use
the RE for troubleshooting
