Zu Ihrer Sicherheit
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Erweiterungsmodul TX-LTE-WLAN ist ein drahtloses Modem-Plug-in für die
HMIs der TX700-Serie und ermöglicht dem TX7…, mit Maschinen und Systemen
über das Internet zu kommunizieren. Das Gerät darf nur wie in dieser Anleitung
beschrieben verwendet werden.
Jede andere Verwendung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Für daraus resultie-
rende Schäden übernimmt Turck keine Haftung.
Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise
■Nur fachlich geschultes Personal darf das Gerät montieren, installieren, betrei-
ben, parametrieren, programmieren und instand halten.
■Das Gerät erfüllt ausschließlich die EMV-Anforderungen für den industriellen
Bereich und ist nicht zum Einsatz in Wohngebieten geeignet.
■Das Gerät nur in Übereinstimmung mit den geltenden nationalen und inter-
nationalen Bestimmungen, Normen und Gesetzen einsetzen.
■Das Gerät nur in Bereichen betreiben, in denen der Betrieb von Funkanlagen
erlaubt ist.
■Ein längerer Aufenthalt im Strahlungsbereich der WLAN-Antenne kann ge-
sundheitsschädlich sein. Strahlungsgrenzwerte und Mindestabstände bei der
Auswahl des Montageorts der Antenne einhalten.
■Die Strahlung der WLAN-Antenne kann medizinische Hilfsmittel beeinflus-
sen. Erhöhten Abstand zu aktiven Strahlungsquellen bis hin zur maximalen
Sendereichweite einhalten.
■Bei der Installation der Antenne im Freien: Blitzschutz z. B. gemäß EN62305
beachten.
■Das Gerät bei Arbeiten an der Antenne ausschalten.

Funktionen und Betriebsarten
TX-LTE-WLAN ist ein 4G-Funkmodem für LTE-Cat.4-Mobilfunknetze. Das Erweite-
rungsmodul verfügt über vier LED-Anzeigen für den Modul- und Netzwerksta-
tus und einen microSIM-Steckplatz. Darüber hinaus stellt das TX-LTE-WLAN zwei
digitale Eingänge und zwei digitale Ausgänge zur Verfügung.

➤Bei der Installation der Antenne im Freien: Blitzschutzmaßnahmen z. B.
gemäß EN62305 einhalten.
➤Blitzschutzzonenkonzept durch die Antenne und ihre Zuleitung nicht
aufheben.
➤ Schutzabdeckung vor der Installation entfernen.
➤ Modul gemäß Abb. 2 montieren.
➤ Antenne anschließen (siehe Abb. 1).

➤Gerät nicht unter Spannung montieren oder demontieren.

Instand halten

Reparieren
Das Gerät ist nicht zur Reparatur durch den Benutzer vorgesehen. Sollte das
Gerät defekt sein, nehmen Sie es außer Betrieb. Bei Rücksendung an Turck
beachten Sie bitte unsere Rücknahmebedingungen.
Entsorgen
Das Gerät muss fachgerecht entsorgt werden und gehört nicht in den
normalen Hausmüll.

TX-LTE-WLAN – Extension module
For your safety
Intended use
The extension module TX-LTE-WLAN is a wireless modem plug in for the HMIs
of the TX700 series and enables the TX7… to communicate with machines and
systems via the internet. The device may only be used as described in these
instructions.
Any other use is not in accordance with the intended use. Turck accepts no li-
ability for any resulting damage.
General safety instructions
■The device may only be assembled, installed, operated, parameterized and
maintained by professionally-trained personnel.
■The device only meets the EMC requirements for industrial areas and is not
suitable for use in residential areas.
■The device may only be used in accordance with applicable national and
international regulations, standards and laws.
■Only operate the devices in areas where the operation of wireless equipment
is allowed.
■Any extended stay within the area the WLAN antenna may be harmful to
health. Maintain radiation limits and minimum distances when selecting the
installation location for the antenna.
■The radiation WLAN antenna may impair the operation of medical equip-
ment. Maintain an additional distance from active radiation sources up to the
maximum transmission distance.
■When installing the antenna outside: Observe lightning protection e.g. ac-
cording to EN 62305.
■Switch off the device when working on the antenna.

Functions and operating modes
TX-LTE-WLAN is a is a 4G radio modem for LTE Cat.4 mobile networks. The
extension module provides four LED indicators for module and network status
and a microSIM slot. In addition, the TX-LTE-WLAN provides two digital inputs
and two digital outputs.

The antennas are not included in the scope of delivery. Suitable antennas can
be found as accessories on the Internet at www.turck.com.
The I/O channels are SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) according to European
standards.
Installing
WARNING
Influences on lightning protection zone concept
Personal injury and material damage due to lightning strikes
➤When installing the antenna outside: Observe lightning protection e.g.
according to EN 62305.
➤Do not override lightning protection zone concept by the antenna and its
feed line.
➤ Remove the protective cover before installation.
➤ Mount the module according to fig. 2.
➤ Connect the supplied antenna (see Fig. 1).
ATTENTION
Risk of short circuits

➤Do not connect or disconnect the device when energized.

Maintenance
➤ The devices must be cleaned at regular intervals with a damp cloth.
Repair
The device must not be repaired by the user. The device must be decommis-
sioned if it is faulty. Refer to our return acceptance conditions when returning
the device to Turck.
Disposal
The device must be disposed of correctly and must not be included in
normal household garbage.

Utilisation conforme
Le module d'extension TX-LTE-WLAN et un modem sans fil pour la série TX700
qui permet au TX7... de communiquer avec des machines et des systèmes via
Internet. L'appareil doit être utilisé conformément aux indications du manuel.
Toute autre utilisation est considérée comme non conforme. La société Turck
décline toute responsabilité en cas de dommages causés par une utilisation non
conforme.
Consignes générales de sécurité
■Seul un personnel qualifié est habilité à monter, installer, utiliser, paramétrer,
programmer et entretenir l’appareil.
■Les appareils répondent exclusivement aux exigences de la directive CEM
pour le secteur industriel et ne sont pas destinés à être mis en œuvre dans les
zones d’habitation.
■L’appareil doit uniquement être utilisé conformément aux dispositions,
normes et lois nationales et internationales en vigueur.
■L'appareil doit uniquement être utilisé dans les zones où l'utilisation d'appa-
reils radio est autorisée.
■Une exposition prolongée dans la zone de rayonnement de l'antenne UMTS
peut avoir des conséquences néfastes sur la santé. Il est impératif de respec-
ter les limites de rayonnement et les distances minimales lors de la sélection
du lieu de montage de l'antenne.
■Le rayonnement de l'antenne UMTS peut avoir un impact sur certains dispo-
sitifs médicaux. Maintenir une distance supérieure par rapport aux sources de
rayonnement actives jusqu'à la portée d'émission maximale.
■Lors de l'installation de l'antenne en extérieur: respecter les dispositions de
protection contre la foudre, par exemple selon la norme EN62305.
■Éteindre l'appareil lorsque vous travaillez sur l'antenne.

Fonctions et modes de fonctionnement
TX-LTE-WLAN est un modem radio 4G pour les réseaux mobiles LTE Cat.4. Le
module d'extension dispose de quatrevoyants LED indiquant l'état du module
et du réseau, ainsi que d'un emplacement microSIM. De plus, le TX-LTE-WLAN
dispose de deux entrées et deux sorties numériques.

Montage
AVERTISSEMENT
Influence du concept de zones de protection contre la foudre
Dommages corporels et matériels causés par la foudre
➤Lors de l'installation de l'antenne en extérieur: respecter les mesures de
protection contre la foudre, par exemple selon la norme EN62305.
➤Ne pas supprimer le concept de zones de protection contre la foudre via
l'antenne et sa ligne d'alimentation.
➤ Retirer le couvercle de protection avant l'installation.
➤ Monter le module comme indiqué sur la figure 2.
➤ Connecter l'antenne (voir fig. 1).

Maintenance
➤ Nettoyer l'appareil à intervalles réguliers avec un chiffon humide.
Réparation

mettez l’appareil hors tension. Veuillez tenir compte de nos conditions de
reprise lorsque vous souhaitez renvoyer l’appareil à Turck.
Mise au rebut
