Tools Needed:
•Wire-Cutters / Wire-Strippers
•Philips Screwdriver
•Small Flat-Blade Screwdriver
Prep Work:
•Remove existing control plate (be sure
to keep the two screws)
•Strip Pickup Wire Insulation Ends to
expose 1/4” of bare wire
•If your neck pickup has the metal cover
shorted to the negative pickup lead,
remove the jumper wire and run a
separate ground wire to the point
indicated with an arrow in the picture
to the right.
Installation:
•Connect Pickup Wires, Output Jack,
Bridge Ground Wire, and Neck Pickup
Shield Wire (if applicable) to Control
Plate
•Install the new Turnstyle Switch Plate
into the control cavity of the guitar
•Install the two original screws to hold
down the control plate
