Tuya ZigBee PIR Multi-Sensor
Quick Start Guide

The PIR313-Z-TY is a Tuya ZigBee version multi-sensor which is used
to detect movement, temperature & humidity and illuminance in your
property. It allows you to receive notification from the mobile app
When the human body movement is detected, you can receive the alert
noti󽘀cation from the mobile phone application software and linkage
with other devices to control their status.
This guide will provide you with an overview of the product and help
you get through the initial setup.

Introduction

Reset button
• Join network. Press the reset button and release to view the device
status on the network. When the device is in the network, the green
light 󽘁ashes three times; When not in the net, the red light 󽘁ash three
times.
• Reset. Press and hold the device reset button for 󽘀ve seconds until
the device blinks green at a short time and enters the networking
mode for one minute. After the networking succeeds, the device
indicator turns o󽗿.
Anti-tamper button
When the rear cover of the device is installed, the anti-disassembly
button is pressed, and it belongs to the normal state. When the rear
cover of the device is removed, the anti-disassembly button is not
pressed, and the anti-disassembly alarm is triggered.

3.3 Connect to the gateway's network
1.Install batteries for the device.
2.Reset the device. For details, refer to Chapter 2 > Reset button >
Reset instruction content to operate;
3.Open Tuya Smart APP to add devices. When the device is being
added to the network, the green indicator blinks continuously. After
the device is successfully added to the network or network add
timeout(one minute later), the green indicator will turn o󽗿.
Method 1: Click the "+" icon in the upper right corner and choose Add
Device > Add Manually > Sensors > Motion Detector > Motion Detector
(ZigBee) for device addition.
Method 2: Click one of your gateway and then tap the "+ Add
subdevice" to add device.
Note: If failed, please repeat the above step and try again.
3.1 To get started, you will need:
1. A TUYA Gateway
2. A mobile installed Tuya Smart APP
3. A Tuya Zigbee Multi snesor
4. Two D cell batteries

3.4 Installation
You can mount the multi-sensor on the wall as a traditional motion
sensor, or you can choose to keep your multi-sensor on a bookshelf or
table.
Wall mounting
Please peel off the liner on the double-sided tape and mount the
sensor on the surface of the wall.
1. Please ensure that the surface is clean and secure.
2. Install the multi-sensor in place where people are most likely to
enter.
3. Avoid mounting the multi-sensor close to pets, air conditioners,
heaters, sunshine and places where the temperature varies.

Question 1: How do I restore the sensor to its factory settings?
Answer 1: Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds. When the
indicator turns green, the reset succeeds.
Question 2: How do I judge whether the sensor has been added to
the gateway?
Answer 2: Press the reset button of the sensor once. If the red light
blinks three times, it means that the sensor has not successfully joined
the gateway; otherwise, the green light blinks three times, it means
that the sensor has successfully joined the gateway
