introduction
Liberated from the tradition of circularity, the Linear Chronograph is free
to express a new linear aesthetic of time. Bi-directional motors propel
the proprietary linear hand located at nine o’clock, indicating the minute
of the chronograph function. The Linear Chronograph is a split chrono-
graph with linear indicator and offers a second time zone at 4 o’clock
when not actively in the chronograph function.
date and time setting
To set the date and time:
1) Pull the crown to its middle position and turn it until the correct date
appears in the date window.
2) Pull the crown to its outer position and turn it until the correct time is
shown. Ensure the correct AM/PM setting by verifying that the date
changes at midnight, not noon.
3) Push the crown in when done
For months with fewer than 31 days, the date will need to be adjusted.

2) Press B to move the center hand forward in 0.2 minute increments,
setting the minutes. Hold the button to move the hand quickly. The
lower and center hands move together; as the center hand makes one
revolution, the lower hand moves one hour. Assuming that the second
time zone time has the same minutes value as your time, the center
and minute hands should be aligned.
3) Press A to move the lower hand forward in one-hour increments. Hold
the button to move the hand quickly.

indicator hand adjustment
If an indicator hand becomes misaligned, it is easily corrected:
1) Pull the crown to its outer position. The lower hand moves to the end
of its sweeps adjusting itself automatically.
2) The center hand should point to 12 o’clock. If it does not, press A to
move the hand clockwise until it points to 12 o’clock.
3) If the chronograph is reset and the linear hand is not pointing to 0,
then, press and hold B for 5 seconds to perform a full calibration of
the linear indicator. (Will take up to 32 seconds)
4) Push the crown in when done.
second time zone
The lower hand normally shows the time for the second time zone. Note
that the scale is 24 hours, with midnight at either end and noon in the
middle.
To set the second time zone time:
1) Pull the crown to its middle position. The lower hand shows the
second time zone time and the center hand shows the minutes.

To stop, press A (START/STOP). All hands freeze.
To resume, press A (START/STOP), or to reset (zero) the chronograph,
press B (SPLIT/RESET).
When the chronograph is reset, all hands move to zero. After another
eight seconds, the watch resumes the normal display of the second time
zone time.
While the chronograph is running, press B (SPLIT/RESET) to take a split.
All hands freeze while the chronograph continues to run. Press B again
to resume display of the running chronograph elapsed time.
rotating bezel
The rotating bezel can be used to measure an
elapsed time period.
To measure elapsed time, simply rotate the bezel
counter clockwise (to the left) until the zero mark
is aligned to the minute hand. From this moment
on, the minute hand in relation to the zero mark
on the bezel will indicate the total number of min-
utes that have elapsed.
For example, set the outer ring so that the zero
mark (triangle) is in line with the minute hand when you want to start
timing an event. The minute hand will then indicate on the outer ring the
elapsed time of that event.

4) Push the crown in when done.
The second time zone time can alternatively be used to represent your
time on a 24-hour scale, if you prefer.
chronograph
The watch provides a 4-hour split chronograph.
To start, press A (START/STOP). The center hand shows the seconds
with 0.2 second resolution, the linear hand shows the minutes (counting
up to thirty and repeating), and the lower hand shows the hours, up to
four before stopping automatically.

To maintain water-resistance, do not press any buttons under water.
The watch may be cleaned with a cloth and mild soap in warm water.
Rinse the watch with fresh water after exposure to salt water.
The battery should provide several years of normal watch use. The actu-
al battery life may vary depending on actual use.
When the battery is depleted, have it replaced promptly. For battery
replacement, please visit an authorized TX dealer or service centre. For

introducción
Liberado de la tradición de circularidad, el cronógrafo lineal puede
expresar ahora una nueva estética lineal del tiempo. Motores bidirec-
cionales impulsan la manecilla lineal patentada situada a las 9 en punto,
que indica los minutos en la función cronógrafo. El cronógrafo lineal es
un cronógrafo interválico con indicador lineal y ofrece una segunda zona
horaria a las 4 en punto, cuando no está activa la función cronógrafo.

Para fijar la fecha y la hora:
1) Jale la corona hasta su posición media y gírela hasta que aparezca la

2) Pulse B para mover la manecilla central en incrementos de 0,2

Si una manecilla indicadora aparece desalineada, esto se puede arreglar:
1) Jale la corona hasta su posición externa. La manecilla inferior se
mueve hasta el final de su barrido con ajuste automático.
2) La manecilla central debe señalar las 12 en punto. Si esto no sucede,
oprima A para mover la manecilla en sentido horario hasta que
indique las 12 en punto.
3) Si el cronógrafo es reiniciado y la manecilla lineal no está en 0, pulse
y sostenga B durante 5 segundos para hacer una calibración
completa del indicador lineal. (Puede demorar 32 segundos)
4) Pulse la corona hacia adentro cuando termine.
segunda zona horaria
La manecilla inferior normalmente muestra la hora para la segunda zona
horaria. Observe que la escala es de 24 horas, con medianoche a
cualquier extremo y mediodía en la mitad.

Para parar, pulse A (START/STOP). Todas las manecillas se inmovilizan.
Para continuar, pulse A (START/STOP), o para reiniciar (desde cero) el
cronógrafo, pulse B (SPLIT/RESET).
Cuando se reinicia el cronógrafo, todas las manecillas se ponen en cero.

Libéré de la représentation circulaire classique, le chronographe linéaire
propose une nouvelle expression du temps avec l'esthétique linéaire. Des
moteurs bidirectionnels animent l'aiguille linéaire brevetée située à
9 heures, indiquant les minutes de la fonction chronographe. Le chrono-
graphe linéaire est un chronographe multi-cadrans avec indicateur

2) Appuyer sur B pour déplacer l'aiguille centrale vers l'avant par inter-
valles de 0,2 minutes, afin de régler les minutes. Maintenir le bouton
enfoncé pour déplacer l'aiguille rapidement. Les aiguilles inférieure et
centrale se déplacent ensemble, l'aiguille inférieure se déplaçant d'une
heure lorsque l'aiguille centrale effectue un tour. Si la valeur des
minutes du second fuseau horaire est indentique à celle de votre
fuseau horaire, l'aiguille des minutes et l'aiguille centrale doivent être
alignées.

Il est possible de réaligner une aiguille indicatrice si nécessaire :
1) Tirer la couronne en position extrême. L'aiguille inférieure se règle
automatiquement en allant se placer en bout de trajectoire.
2) L'aiguille centrale doit indiquer 12 heures. Sinon, appuyer sur A pour
faire avancer l'aiguille dans le sens horaire jusqu'à ce qu'elle indique
12 heures.
3) Si le chronographe est remis à zéro et que l'aiguille linéaire n'indique
pas 0, appuyer sur B pendant 5 secondes afin de procéder à l'étalon-
nage de l'indicateur linéaire. (Cela prendra jusqu'à 32 secondes)
4) Enfoncer la couronne pour valider.
second fuseau horaire
L'aiguille inférieure indique normalement l'heure pour le second fuseau
horaire. Noter qu'il s'agit d'une échelle sur 24 heures, minuit se situant à
chacune de ses extrémités et midi au milieu.
Pour régler le second fuseau horaire :
1) Tirer la couronne en position intermédiaire. L'aiguille inférieure indique
l'heure du second fuseau horaire et l'aiguille centrale indique les
minutes.

Lors de la remise à zéro du chronographe, toutes les aiguilles se placent
sur zéro. Après huit secondes, la montre reprend l'affichage normal du
second fuseau horaire.
Lorsque le chronographe est en marche, appuyer sur B (SPLIT/RESET)
pour marquer un temps intermédiaire. Toutes les aiguilles s'arrêtent
pendant que le chronographe continue à fonctionner. Appuyer à
nouveau sur B pour refaire apparaître l'affichage du temps écoulé du
chronographe en marche.

3) Appuyer sur A pour déplacer l'aiguille inférieure vers l'avant par
intervalles d'une heure. Maintenir le bouton enfoncé pour déplacer
l'aiguille rapidement.
4) Enfoncer la couronne pour valider.
Si vous le préférez, il est possible d'utiliser alternativement le second
fuseau horaire pour indiquer l'heure de votre fuseau horaire sur une
échelle de 24 heures.
chronographe
La montre comporte un chronographe multi-cadrans avec indicateur
4 heures.
Pour démarrer, appuyer sur A (START/STOP). L'aiguille centrale indique
les secondes avec une résolution de 0,2 seconde, l'aiguille linéaire
indique les minutes (en comptant jusqu'à trente puis en répétant
l'opération) et l'aiguille inférieure indique les heures jusqu'à quatre avant
de s'arrêter automatiquement.
Pour arrêter, appuyer sur A (START/STOP). Toutes les aiguilles
s'arrêtent.
Pour reprendre le chronométrage, appuyer à nouveau sur A
(START/STOP) ou pour remettre le chronographe à zéro, appuyer sur B
(SPLIT/RESET).

Afin de préserver l'étanchéité, n'appuyer sur aucun bouton lorsque la
montre est immergée.
La montre peut être nettoyée à l'aide d'un chiffon et de savon doux dans
de l'eau chaude.

La pile doit permettre à la montre de fonctionner pendant plusieurs
années dans des conditions normales d'utilisation. L'autonomie réelle de
la pile peut varier en fonction de l'utilisation qui est faite de la montre.

La bague d'encadrement tournante peut être
utilisée pour mesurer un temps écoulé.
Pour mesurer un temps écoulé, il suffit de faire
tourner la bague d'encadrement dans le sens
anti-horaire (vers la gauche) jusqu'à ce que le
zéro soit aligné avec l'aiguille des minutes. À
partir de ce moment, l'aiguille des minutes, par
rapport au zéro sur la bague d'encadrement,
indiquera le nombre total des minutes qui se
sont écoulées.
Par exemple, régler la bague extérieure de telle manière que le zéro
(triangle) soit aligné avec l'aiguille des minutes lorsque vous désirez
commencer à chronométrer un événement. L'aiguille des minutes
indiquera alors sur la bague extérieure le temps écoulé pour cet
événement.
