INTRODUCTION
Your Entel Ultra video telephone is used to answer calls from visitors using the
buildings door entry system.
It is important that you read these instructions before use, if you need further
assistance please contact your Housing Manager.
TO ANSWER A CALL
Your telephone will ring and display a picture of your visitor at the door.
The ring tone will repeat for about 60 seconds or until you pick-up the handset
Lift the handset and speak with the caller
To allow access, press the Lock Release button once
The DOOR OPEN indicator will FLASH RED when the entrance door is released
Replace the handset on the hook to end the call.
Remember; if you don’t want to let the caller in or you are unsure of their identity
simply replace the handset to end the call.
TO SELECT PRIVACY MODE
You can select privacy mode if you do not want to receive any calls;
Press the Privacy button once
The PRIVACY ON indicator will illuminate GREEN to indicate privacy is on
You cannot receive any calls when privacy is on
To return to normal operation, press the Privacy button again and the green
indicator will go out.
Note; if your telephone is set for “Timed Privacy” then privacy mode will turn off
automatically after a preset period (default 1 hour).
DOOR LEFT OPEN INDICATION
If the DOOR OPEN indicator illuminates STEADY RED the entrance door has been
left open and the building is not secure.
When the door is closed the red indicator will go out.
RINGER VOLUME
The slide switch on the side of the telephone can be set to choose a low, medium
or high ringer volume.
ALTERNATIVE RING TONE
If your building has two entrance doors your telephone may ring with a different
tone from each door.
Note; this is an optional feature and must be set-up by an Engineer.
