11.1. Installation
To proceed with the installation of AIRcel70™follow the procedure described below:
Installation operations must take place with no power supply; Remove the AIRcel70™from the box and store it
in a suitable place or where indicated by your Air Quality Specialist;
1. Lift the cover and place it next to the tank;
2. Disconnect the cable by unscrewing the connector. Do not pull on the connector;
3. Place the lid on a flat surface; you will see the empty middle part, which ends up in the water tank, where water
and the U-Ox™should be placed;
4. Remove the 2 pieces of tape from the waterplate grid; these tapes are to prevent any damage to the grid during
transport;
User Manual - AIRcel70™ 4

5. Remove the BioStack™filter from the tank;
6. Remove the protections from the bottom of the BioStack™filter (these protections prevent damage to the pump
during transport);
7. Replace the BioStack™filter in the tank;
8. Add water to the center of the BioStack™until it reaches the maximum level indicated on the metal plate.
Water should be poured through clean containers used only for water, not previously used to hold other substances
such as household or personal cleaners, chemicals or food;
9. Shake a single dose of U-Ox™well and pour the entire contents of the bottle into the middle part. In order to
ensure that the air cleaning remains eective, the unit should be refilled with a single dose of U-Ox™every month.
Use only genuine U-Earth enzymes;
10. Once the unit is full of water and refilled with the single dose of U-Ox™, place the cover on the side of the tank and
reconnect the cable by screwing the connector;
11. Insert the cover in its seat, connect the cable to the power supply and turn on the machine with the power
button.
Congratulations, your AIRcel70™is purifying the surrounding air
and creating a Pure Air Zone.
Water evaporates during the bioxidation process and must be supplied regularly.
You can choose to add a little water each day or a larger amount of water at regular intervals by following Step 1
through Step 11 (skipping Step 9).
NOTE: To add small amounts of water, you do not need to unscrew the connector and remove the cover completely;
just move the cover and lay it on its side, as shown in the follomwing picture.
It is necessary to add U-Ox™every month; the tank should be emptied and cleaned every 4 months.
While the machine is running, the blue light is on, indicating that the device is working properly. However, you can
turn o the light by pressing the button on the front of the lid. When the water level reaches the minimum, a red light
will come on and the device will stop.
User Manual - AIRcel70™ 5

You can also decrease the noise of the fan, if you find it annoying, by simply pressing the button on the back of the
lid, next to the on/o button.
11.2. Operation details
The device is populated by a consortium of bacteria that digests pollution on a daily basis. We calculated that each
AIRcel70™has a neutralising capacity rate (measured as the concentration of volatile organic compounds captured
and digested in the laboratory) of 3.5 kg per day.
AIRcel70™creates a PURE AIR ZONE within a range that protects against all types of pollutants regardless of species
or size. Captured contaminants are digested by the system and converted to water, carbon dioxide and any elemen-
tal components present in the captured compounds, which fall to the bottom of the tank and can be disposed of as
a natural harmless byproduct.
12. Periodic cleaning procedure
Approximately every 120 days the device should be completely cleaned using only water. Use protective latex
gloves during cleaning and maintenance.
1. Turn the unit o and disconnect it from the main power supply;
2. Lift the cover and place it next to the tank;
3. Disconnect the cable by unscrewing the connector;
4. Place the lid on a flat surface and remove the cover;
5. Ensure that the waterplate holes and all tubes are free of sediment. If necessary, remove the sediment inside the
tubes with running water;
6. Remove BioStack™and store it near the device. Gently wipe the surface of the BioStack™cylinder with a soft
sponge. A coating on the cylinder surfaces is a sign that the biological filter is active, and should not be removed
or scraped o. Please note that all AIRcel70™bioreactors are factory tested, so it is perfectly normal to find traces
of coating on a new BioStack™;
7. Empty the tank and remove any sediment. Dispose of the water according to applicable regulations;
8. Replace the BioStack™filter in the tank;
9. With a soft brush, or rather with a vacuum cleaner, vacuum the inside of the lid to clean the fan;
10. Place the lid on the side of the tank and reconnect the cable, screwing the connector;
11. Insert the cover in its seat aligning it with the AIRcel70™logo, connect the cable to the power supply and turn on
the machine.

non-use of the device during the warranty period.
•Any extension of the warranty period, promised or granted by the dealer, shall be at the dealer's expense.
•Improper use of the unit or use not prescribed in this manual will void the warranty.
•Evaluation of the causes for the necessity of repair within the warranty period is the sole responsibility of the
supplier.
15.4.2. Electronic Components
The warranty is conditional on the proper storage and maintenance of the product and does not include all electrostatic
discharge ("ESD") sensitive parts that have been subjected to physical or electrical stress as a result of improper treat-
ment or storage. All ESD-sensitive products shall be stored according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
15.3. Performance Warranty
a. AIRcel70™bioreactors are designed to work ONLY with the addition of water and U-Ox™additives. The addition
of products other than tap water and U-Ox™would result in permanent damage to the unit and is therefore stron-
gly prohibited and would void any warranty from U-Earth.
b. The water introduced into the unit should have a pH between 6-8 and a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
Please also consider that very hard water may reduce the life of the pump.
c. The sizing and positioning of the U-Earth system must be adequately indicated by a qualified U-Earth Air Quality
Specialist, in order to eectively resolve any doubts the Customer may have.
d. U-Earth cannot be held responsible for poor performance, in terms of pollution reduction, in case of incorrect

User Manual - AIRcel70™ 10

15.4. AIRcel70™- Component warranty
15.4.1. Materials
U-Earth warrants that new components within AIRcel70™bioreactors are free from defects in materials.
Customer's care and U-Earth's (including those involved in the distribution and sale of the units) total liability to Customer
with respect to the materials warranty for any claim is limited - at U-Earth's sole discretion - to the repair or supply of new
items to replace all components covered by this warranty. Replacement of items with those supplied by U-Earth will be
at the expense of the Customer. This materials warranty is valid for five (5) years from the product delivery date.
15.4.3. Electrical components
U-Earth warrants that its pumps and fans are free from defects and are covered by a two (2) year warranty for malfun-
ctions due to manufacturing defects, provided that the unit has been properly maintained and repaired ONLY by
qualified U-Earth technical personnel.
The Customer should anticipate that the average life span of the pump and fan, under normal conditions, is 2 years
of continuous use. The Customer also acknowledges that the pump and fan may be subject to premature wear and
tear when used in very dirty environments, in which case in the presence of aggressive contaminants, the Customer
must consider the possibility of premature deterioration of the components and consequently anticipate their repla-
cement.
15.4.4. U-Ox™additive
U-Ox™additive will only be sold in conjunction with the AIRcel70™unit. The bottles must be stored in their original
packaging and must not be exposed to a temperature higher than 30°C or lower than 0°C. The bottles must not be
opened before use and their contents must never be placed in a dierent container in case the bottle is damaged.
The single dose supplied must be well shaken before use and used in full, every 30 days.
Failure to add the U-Ox™additive every 30 days will result in a loss of system performance and void the performance
warranty. An unpleasant "algae" odor perceived immediately after opening the bottle is normal and is due to a limited
release of gas from the biological consortium as a result of possible exposure to dierent temperatures. This is not
a sign of deterioration of the compound and will not adversely aect AIRcel70's performance. U-Ox™is intended to
be used exclusively as an additive for AIRcel70™bioreactors.
U-Ox™has a shelf life of 3 years.
15.4.5. Return/Refund
AIRcel70™units can be refunded or returned in case of malfunction at first installation or defective components.
If a unit is damaged during transport, it cannot be refunded. The Customer is strongly advised to insure transportation
for the full value of the item.
If the end user has used the unit improperly, U-Earth is not responsible for a refund.
a. If any unit has manufacturing defects, having been used in accordance with the performance warranty clauses,
it will be U-Earth's responsibility to repair, re-manufacture or replace, at its discretion, said units recognizing an
EXW price to which a discount will be applied in proportion to the unfulfilled life during the warranty period, exclu-
ding any customs, taxes, labor for replacement.
b. U-Earth's liability will apply as long as the total number of items supplied for replacement is less than or equal to
the initial number of items installed. Claims for damages, as well as any right of appeal are excluded.
c. Transportation of units to be returned to U-Earth for warranty compliance verification shall be prepaid by Custo-
mer. If the verification fails, i.e. the warranty clauses are not respected, the Customer shall pay all expenses incur-
red by U-Earth personnel for the investigations performed. If the malfunction is not found by U-Earth, U-Earth will
return the goods to the Customer, with transport paid for by the recipient.
15.4.6. Disclaimer of Liability
No warranty, either express or implied, is warranted beyond what is expressly stated above. Implied warranties of
merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are not given and are expressly excluded.
User Manual - AIRcel70™ 11

U-Earth shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive or exemplary damages, lost profits, downtime of facilities,
or suits by third parties against the Customer, due to component malfunctions or defects. These terms and condi-
tions are subject to change.
15.4.7. Storage Conditions
The device is intended to be stored under the following environmental conditions:
-Temperature between 0 and 50 °C;
-In the absence of condensation.
The following conditions should also be observed:
-Storage rooms: the rooms used for storing the equipment must be dry and well ventilated. The room must be
able to maintain a more or less constant temperature, neither too cold nor too hot.
