Seng up your uAend Time Clock requires
an interacon between your Time Clock and
Cloud Portal.
First we’ll begin in the Cloud, then we’ll nish
with the Time Clock.
Once you’ve completed the following 5 easy
steps, your employees will be ready to use the
me clock.

Open your web browser and visit
www.TrackMyTime.com/signup
then follow the prompts.
CREATE YOUR uATTEND ACCOUNT
Before you can set up your new uAend Time Clock, you will
need to set up your uAend Cloud Account.

When selecng your plan size,
keep in mind that your employees
are your hourly workforce.
Supervisors (not paid hourly) and
administrators are not included in
this number. Your plan is month-
to-month and can be changed at
any me.

Your login URL is going to become
the “web address” for your
company’s uAend Portal. For
example, “The Great Cookie Co”
may become

ADD DEPARTMENTS
Departments are used to group users together within the uAend system. You will need
to set up at least one department before you add users to your account. Specify other
department sengs, such as Punch Rounding and Overme Rules, during the inial
setup or you may choose to enter that informaon later.

1. Select the Departments tab
on your Dashboard.
2. Select “+Add Department.”
3. Create a Department Code.
The Department Code is used
as a reference on employee me
cards to ensure that hours are
appropriately allocated to the
correct departments. For example,
the code for “Sales” can be, “SLS.”

4. Enter the full Department Name.
Specify addional department
sengs on this screen now, or
enter that informaon later.
5. Select...
a. “Save & Add New” to add
a new department.
b. “Save & Connue” to add
more rules and policies.
c. “Save & Close” to move to
the next step.

1. Select the Users tab on your
Dashboard.
2. Select “Add User.”
ADD EMPLOYEES
The number of employees you can add to your account is limited by the plan
size you have chosen.
Oponally change the size of your plan at any me by selecng your user icon
in the upper right corner of your uAend Portal, then “My Account” from the
dropdown menu.

3. Assign the user a role, then add their rst and last name.
Employees are the poron of your workforce that use the me clock to track
their me.
Supervisors can view and edit me cards, but do not punch in and out of the
me clock.
Administrators have full access to the account and its sengs. Addional
administrators can be added for $6 per month, per administrator.
4. Select...
a. “Save and Connue” to set up the employee’s prole.
b. “Save and Close” to move on to the next steps.
You can add more details by going back to that user’s prole at any me.

ACTIVATION VIA LAN
1. Aach a LAN cable to your clock and router,
then plug your clock into a power outlet.
Your clock should be powered on. Select LAN
(opon 2) on your BN6500 and BN6600.
2. Enter your uAend Company ID.
This ID can be found in the upper right corner of
your uAend Web Portal. If you do not have an
account, please set one up, as outlined in step 2.
ACTIVATE YOUR TIME CLOCK
The BN6000 and BN6100 allow you to connect to the Internet via LAN, while
the BN6500 and BN6600 allow you to connect via LAN and WiFi. The process
of acvang your me clock via LAN is the same for the BN6000, BN6100,
BN6500 and BN6600, so they have been grouped together in this step.

3. Conrm that your account informaon
is correct.
4. Select a me zone based on the locaon of
the clock.
5. Press OK when setup is complete.
ACTIVATION VIA WIFI
1. Plug your me clock into a power outlet.
Your clock should be powered on.
2. Select 1 for WiFi.
3. Press OK to view a list of WiFi Networks.
4. Select and conrm your Network.
5. Enter your password.

6. Conrm that your password is correct.
7. Enter your Company ID and press OK.
Your Company ID can be found in the upper right
corner of your uAend Web Portal. If you do not
have an account, please set one up as outlined in
step 2.
8. Conrm that your account informaon
is correct.
9. Select a me zone based on the locaon of
the clock.
10. Press OK when setup is complete.

MOUNTING YOUR TIME CLOCK
ONTO YOUR WALL
1. Select a locaon for your me clock near a
power outlet and LAN port (if applicable).
2. Place the metal back plate against the wall
(shown at right). Mark the holes against the wall.
3. Insert drywall anchors into the center of the
wall marks.
4. Align the metal back plate with the holes.
Ensure that the prongs are facing away from the
wall and upward, then secure the back plate to
the wall with the included screw.
WALL MOUNT
Included with your me clock, you will nd a metal back plate, a LAN
cord, a power adapter, four drywall anchors, four screws, and a small
bracket screw. You will need your own Phillips-head screwdriver.

5. Aach the power adapter and the LAN line
(if applicable).
6. Align the three slots on the back of the clock
with the three prongs on the back plate. Push
down slightly to ensure the clock is securely
fastened.
7. Oponally screw the me clock to the metal
back plate with the included bracket screw at
the boom center of the me clock.

REGISTERING FINGERPRINT TEMPLATES
1. Press the MENU key.
2. Enter the default password (53178). Press OK.
3. Select User Management.
4. Select Add User.
5. Enter a 6 digit FP ID code for the ngerprint template
and press OK. Each template must be assigned a unique
code, we recommend using a number that is easy to
remember such as a birth date. For example,
June 16, 1984 could be 061684.
FINGERPRINT TEMPLATES
uAend’s unique biometric ngerprint me clock allows you to register
employee ngerprints and transfer them between uAend BN Series
Time Clocks.

6. The employee should press their nger rmly on
sensor unl a “beep” is audible. Repeat process two
more mes with the same nger.
NOTE: If desired, you may repeat the ngerprint
scanning process for the same employee with a
dierent nger, so that the employee can have a
backup template. You will need a unique 6 digit
FP ID code for each ngerprint registered.
You may log all employee names and 6 digit FP ID
codes in the Template Assignment Sheet at the end
of this manual.
7. Repeat steps 1-6 for each employee using your
me clock.

1. Select the Sengs Tab on the
Main Menu.
2. Select the Punch
Management link.
3. Select the Assign Users link
that appears next to the clock
name used to register ngerprint
templates.
4. Assign each ngerprint
template to the appropriate
employee, referencing the
Template Assignment Sheet at
the end of this manual.
Your me clock is now ready for registered employees to punch in and out with their ngerprints.
NOTE: The BN Series employs advanced ngerprint technology. However, there is a small
segment of the populaon with ngerprints that will not record. These employees are sll
able to punch in and out using a PIN.

TRANSFERRING FINGERPRINT TEMPLATES TO OTHER TIME CLOCKS
This process requires an interacon with your BN Series Time Clock and your uAend
Cloud Account.
From your uAend account:
1. Select the Users tab on the
Main Menu.
2. Select Manage Fingerprint
Templates.
3. Check the desired ngerprint
templates to transfer to an
addional clock.
4. Use the dropdown menu to
select the clock(s) to which
you wish to transfer the
templates.
5. Select Submit.
