Otherwisethecontrollermaybreakdowncausethevoltageofthepowersupplyhasanovershotthatexceedthan64V.Itis
feasible todothepowerON / OFF testifyouusethebatterypowersupply,andthevoltageiswithin48V.

3. BatteryOverchargeProtection
Whencharging,oncethebatteryvoltagereachesthepresetvoltage,thecontrollerwillautomaticallycutoffthechargingcircuit.
4. BatteryDischargeProtection
Whendischarging,oncethebatteryvoltagereachesthepresetvoltage,thecontrollerwillautomaticallycutoffthedischargingcircuit.

Thecurrentoutput,thecontrollerwillcutofftheoutputcircuitwhenthecurrent1.5timesexceedstheratedcurrent.

Loose
power
connections
and/or
corroded
wires
may
result
in
resistive
connections
that
melt
wire
insulation,
burn
surrounding
materials,orevencausefire.Ensuretightconnectionsandusecableclampstosecurecablesandpreventthemfromswayingin
mobileapplications.
lDon’tconnecttheloadswithsurgepowerexceedingtheratingsofthecontroller.
lRiskofexplosionorfire!Connectthepositive(+)andnegative(-)ofloadstocontrollerloadterminals.Theloadterminalmay
existvoltage,connectcarefullytoavoidshortcircuit.
lRiskofelectricshock!Exercisecautionwhenhandlingsolarwiring.Thesolarmodule(s)highvoltageoutputcancausesevere
shockorinjury.Becarefuloperationwheninstallingsolarwiring.
2.Mounting
Step1:ChooseMountingLocation
Locatethecontrolleronaverticalsurfaceprotectedfromdirectsun,hightemperature,andwater.Andmakesuregoodventilation.
Step2:Checkforclearance
Placethecontrollerinthelocationwhereitwillbemounted.Verifythatthereissufficientroomtorunwiresandthatthereis
sufficientroomaboveandbelowthecontrollerforairflow.

Step3:MarkHoles
Useapencilorpentomarkthefour(4)mountingholelocationsonthemountingsurface.
Step4:DrillHoles
Removethecontrolleranddrill4mmholesinthemarkedlocations.
Step5:SecureController
Placethecontrolleronthesurfaceandalignthemountingholeswiththedrilledholesinstep4.Securethecontrollerinplace
usingthemountingscrews.
3.Wiring
1、Tofastenthecontrollerwell,thesizeislistedas
follows:Theoutsidesize:133×70×33.5(mm)
Theholesize:126×50×φ4(mm)
2、Preparethecable:
Toadvisetousethecablewithmanycopperstrips,to
assurethecablecanmeettheinstallationneeds,keep
itasshortaspossiblesothattoreduceextrapower
consumption.Thecableshouldnotbiggerthan
4A/mm2,tostrip5mmforthecontrollerside.
3、ConnectionOrder:batterycable→loadcable→solarpanelcable
Connectionofbattery:Connectthebatterycabletotheoutputterminalofthecontroller,payattentiontothepositiveandnegative
chargesprotectfromcontraryconnectingorshortcircuit(thepositiveandnegativechargescometogether).Ifitiscorrect, the
correspondingbatterypowerindicator (Overlow,Normal,Full)willbebright.Otherwise,Checktheconnectioniscorrectornot.
Connectionofload:Connecttheloadcabletotheoutputterminalofthecontroller,payattentiontothepositiveandnegative
protectfromcontraryconnecting,Otherwise,itmayburntheappliance.
Connectionofsolarpanel:Connectsolarpanelcabletotheoutputterminalofthecontroller,payattentiontothepositiveand
negativechargesprotectfromcontraryconnecting.Ifthereissunshine(PVarrayvoltagegreaterthan10V),Thecharge
indicatorwillbebright.Otherwise,checkthecableconnection.

Userinstruction
1.Chargeorovervoltageindicator:Whenthesystemconnectioniscorrect,andthesolarpanelhasabundantsunshine,thecharging
indicator ①(greenlight)isconstantON.Inthistimethechargingcircuitofthesystemhasopened,itisinthechargingprocess.
Whenthebatteryisfullycharged,thechargingcircuitwillcloseautomatically,andthechargingindicator ①isquickflashing.The
chargingprocesshasusedthePWMmode.Whenthebatteryisfullycharged,itwillturntothestateoffloatcharge.Thisautomatic
controlprocesswillturnthebatterychargingtothebestresultsandprolongthelifespanofbattery.
2.Loadstartupconditions:theloadisallowedtostartonlywhenthebatteryisinthestateofNormalorFull,butoncestarted.Oncethe
loadhasopen,itcanworkuntilthebatteryNormalindicatorlight ③(flashing).Whenthebatteryfurtherdeclinetothecutoffdischarge
voltage,thebatteryOverlowindicator ②(redlightON),theLoadforcedtocutofftheoutputinordertoprotectthebattery.
3.Thestartoftheoverloadprotection:whentheloadstartup,theloadoutputindicator ⑤(constanton).
Iftheloadcurrentis1.5timesbytheratedworkingcurrentofthecontroller,thecontrollerwillautomaticallycutofftheoutput,and
theloadoutputindicator ⑤(flashing),thecontrollerwilltrytostarteverythreeseconds.Detecttheloadwhethertheovercurrent
faultsolveornot,ifthefaulthasnotsolved,thecontrollercontinuestoremainthecutoffstate,andtheloadoutputindicator
constantlyflashing,ifthefaulthassolved,thecontrollerreturntonormaluse.

ThebatteryOverlowindicator(redlight)isON,
Thebatteryislow,thecontrollerdoesnotstart.Theloadrestartautomaticallyuntilthe
buttheloaddoesnotstart voltageofbatteryhasraisetothenormalvoltage(≥12.2V).
1. Referencetothesystemwiringdiagram,checkthesystemwhetheriswell
connectedornot.
