Congratulations on the purchase of your new device.
You have selected a high-quality product. The operat-
ing instructions are a constituent of this product. They
contain important information about safety, use and
disposal. Before using the product, familiarise yourself
with all operating and safety instructions. Use this
product only as described and only for the specified
areas of application. Retain these instructions for
future reference. Please also pass these operating
instructions on to any future owner(s).
Intended use
The vehicle air cleaner is only intended for air cleaning
in privately-used vehicles. Any other use is considered to
be improper, and can result in damage and injuries.
Claims of any kind for damage resulting from improper
use or unauthorised modifications will not be consid-
ered. This product is for private use only, and is not
intended for commercial use.

instructions:

NOTE

assist you in handling the device.
Safety instructions
■ Check the device for any visible exter-
nal damage before use. Do not use
an device that has been damaged or
dropped.
■ Protect the device from penetration by
moisture and liquids.
■ Never subject the device to extreme
heat or humidity. This applies especially
when storing in a car. Extreme tem-
peratures can occur in car interiors and
glove compartments during long peri-
ods of immobilisation. Remove electrical

and electronic devices from the vehicle.
■ This device may be used by children
aged 8 over and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge, provided that they are
under supervision or have been told
how to use the device safely and are
aware of the potential risks. Children
must not use the device as a play-
thing. Cleaning and user maintenance
tasks may not be carried out by chil-
dren unless they are supervised.
■ Do not operate the device whilst
steering a car or any other vehicle.
This is hazardous to other road users.
■ Do not cover the ventilation slots.

Initial operation
Check the items supplied
This device is supplied with the following components
as standard:
▯ Vehicle air cleaner
▯ This operating manual
NOTE
► Before starting to use the device, check that
all items are present and undamaged. If any
items are missing or damaged due to defective
packaging or transportation, please contact the
Service Hotline (see chapter "Service").
Remove all parts from the packaging, and then remove
all packaging material from the device.

Handling and operation
♦ Insert the vehicle plug into the 12V power
socket of your car. As a rule this is the cigarette
lighter socket in the dashboard of your vehicle.
NOTE
The main unit with the ventilation slots can be
continuously rotated through 90°. The ventilation
slots must be free and should be pointing
towards the middle of the vehicle interior.
♦ Rotate the main unit with the ventilation slots 
into the required position.
