WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
Read all instructions before operating this unit. The manufacturer accepts no liability for any damage resulting from the improper use of
this unit and/or for any purpose other than those covered by these instructions.
• VALO GRAND Corded curing light emits high intensity light very similar to high intensity Quartz halogen lights and must only be used as indicated in
this manual.
• DO NOT look directly into the light output. Patient, clinician, and assistants should always wear amber UV eye protection when VALO GRAND
Corded curing light is in use.
• USE CAUTION when treating patients who suffer from adverse photobiological reactions or sensitivities, patients who are undergoing
chemotherapy treatment, or patients being treated with photosensitizing medication.
• DO NOT expose soft oral tissues at close proximity for more than 10 seconds in any mode. If longer curing time is required, use multiple shorter
curing cycles to avoid heating soft tissue, or use a dual-cure product.
• If using VALO GRAND Corded curing light in close proximity to the gingiva, DO NOT expose tissue for more than 20 seconds. If a 40-second cure
is needed, allow 10 seconds between two 20-second cures. If longer curing is required, consider a dual-cure product.
• The Xtra Power mode has a 2-second safety delay to limit heating during consecutive curing. At the end of the delay, beeping indicates unit is
ready for continued use.
• Take extra care to avoid directing light toward soft tissues.
• WARNING: No modication of this equipment is allowed.
• When disposing of electronic waste, (i.e. devices, chargers, batteries and power supplies), follow local waste and recycling guidelines.

Indications for Use: The source of illumination for curing photo-activated dental restorative materials and adhesives.
VALO GRAND Corded curing light is an LED curing light for the polymerization of light cured dental materials. With its broadband spectrum, VALO
GRAND Corded curing light is designed to polymerize all light cured products in the wavelength range of 385-515nm per ISO 10650.
VALO GRAND Corded curing light has a medical grade, international power supply and is suitable for power outlets from 100 to 240 volts. The
handpiece is designed to rest in a standard dental unit bracket or can be custom mounted using the bracket included with the kit.

Instructions for Use:
1 - Connect the 9-volt power cord to the handpiece cord.
2 - Plug the power cord into any electrical outlet (100 -240 VAC). The timing lights will illuminate indicating the light is ready for use. The VALO
GRAND Corded curing light handpiece beeps twice when powering on.
3 - Place the VALO GRAND Corded curing light handpiece into a standard dental unit mounting bracket or accessory mounting bracket until ready to use.
4 - Prior to use, place barrier sleeve over VALO GRAND Corded curing light wand.
5 - Select the desired mode: VALO GRAND Corded curing light has 3 modes: Standard Power, High Power Plus, and Xtra Power. Each mode is
identied by the Mode/Status Light (green = Standard Power, orange = High Power Plus, ashing orange = Xtra Power). To change modes, hold
the Time/Mode Change button for 2 seconds and release. The Mode/Status light will change to the next mode.
NOTE: VALO GRAND Corded curing light is programmed to cycle from the Standard Power to the High Power Plus to the Xtra Power mode in
sequence. For example, to change from the Standard Power mode to the Xtra Power mode, it is necessary to cycle into the High Power Plus mode
and then to the Xtra Power mode.
VALO GRAND Corded curing light always stores its last used timing interval in each mode and will default back to that timing interval whenever the
modes are changed, or if the unit is unplugged and loses power.
SLEEP MODE: VALO GRAND Corded curing light will go into SLEEP mode after 1 hour of inactivity, as indicated by the green mode light blinking
slowly. Press any button to wake VALO GRAND Corded curing light and begin curing. VALO GRAND Corded curing light will automatically return to the
last setting used.
Precaution: Always wear amber colored safety glasses while the curing light is illuminated.

CURING MODE: Standard Power mode
USES: Curing of restorative materials with photo initiators.
TIMING INTERVALS: 5, 10, 15, 20 seconds.
• VALO GRAND Corded curing light defaults to this mode when it is INITIALLY powered on. The Status Light is green and the green Timing Lights
are solidly illuminated.
• To change timing intervals, quickly press the Time/Mode Button.
• Press the Power Button to cure. To stop curing prior to completion of a timing interval, press the Power Button again.
CURING MODE: High Power Plus mode
USES: Curing of restorative materials with photo initiators.
TIMING INTERVALS: 1, 2, 3, 4 seconds.
• From Standard Power mode, press and hold the Time/Mode Change Button for 2 seconds. The green Timing Lights will illuminate and ash. The
Status Light will illuminate as a solid orange light, indicating High Power Plus mode.A two-second power tack is the most commonly used timing
interval in this mode.
• To change timing intervals, quickly press the Time/Mode Button.
• Press the Power Button to cure. To stop curing prior to the completion of a timing interval, press the Power Button again.
• To return to Standard Power mode, press and hold the Time/Mode Change Button for 2 seconds, this will cycle to Xtra Power Mode, then release,
hold for 2seconds, and release.The green light will be solid with solid green timing lights, indicating Standard mode.
CURING MODE: Xtra Power mode
USES: Curing of restorative materials with photo initiators.
TIMING INTERVAL: 3 seconds only (Note: there is a 2 second safety delay at the end of each curing cycle).
• From the Standard Power mode, press the Time/Mode Change Button for 2 seconds, release, press again for 2 seconds, and release. Three of
the green Timing Lights and the orange Status Light will illuminate and ash, indicating Xtra Power mode.
• Press the Power Button to cure. To stop curing prior to completion of a timing interval, press the Power Button again.
• To return to the Standard Power mode, press and hold the Time Button for 2 seconds.
WARNING: In Xtra Power mode, DO NOT expose soft tissue for more than 10 seconds. The Xtra Power mode has a 2-second safety delay to limit
heating during consecutive curing. At the end of the delay, beeping indicates unit is ready for continued used. If a longer cure is needed, allow 10
seconds between consecutive cures or consider a dual-cure product (composite or adhesive).
Note: If it is necessary to cure near soft tissue, cooling with an air stream is an option for keeping the area cooler.

Duty Cycle: The VALO GRAND Corded curing light is designed for short-term operation.At maximum ambient temperature (32°C) 1 minute ON
back-to-back cycling, 30 minutes OFF (cooling-off period).
Accessory Bracket Instructions
1- Bracket should be mounted to a at, oil-free surface.
2- Clean surface with rubbing alcohol.
3- Peel backing off of the bracket’s adhesive tape.
4- Position bracket so the handpiece lifts upward when removed. Press rmly into place.
Maintenance and Cleaning
VALO GRAND Corded curing light is a sealed unit with a hard surface and a scratch resistant glass lens.After each use, moisten a gauze or soft cloth
with an approved surface disinfectant and wipe the surface and lens.
Routinely check the lens for cured dental resins. If necessary, use a non-diamond dental instrument to carefully remove any adhered resin.
The barrier sleeve helps prevent cross contamination and helps keep dental composite material from adhering to the surface of the lens and wand body.
Light meters differ greatly and are designed for specic light guide tips and lenses. Ultradent recommends checking VALO GRAND Corded curing
light in Standard Power mode. NOTE: the true numeric output will be skewed due the inaccuracy of common light meters and the custom LED pack
VALO GRAND Corded curing light uses.
PRODUCT SAFETY WARNINGS:
• DO NOT autoclave.
• DO NOT immerse in any kind of ultrasonic bath, disinfectant, cleaning solutions, or any kind of liquid.
• PRECAUTION: This unit may be susceptible to strong magnetic or static electric elds, which could disrupt the programming. If you suspect this
has occurred, unplug the unit momentarily and then replug it into the outlet.
• DO NOT wipe down the VALO GRAND Corded curing light with caustic or abrasive cleaners. See lists of acceptable cleaners below:

Troubleshooting Guide
If the solutions suggested below do not rectify the problem, please call Ultradent at 800.552.5512.
Outside the United States, call your Ultradent distributor or dental dealer.
Repairs are only to be performed by authorized service personnel. Ultradent to provide service personnel with documentation to perform repairs.
Problem Possible Solutions
Light will not turn on 1. Press the Time/Mode or either Power Button to wake from Power Save Mode.
2. Check that both cords are rmly connected together and to the electrical outlet.
3. Conrm power to the wall outlet.
Light does not stay on for desired time 1. Check Mode and Timing lights for correct time input.
2. Conrm all cord connections are fully seated.
3. Unplug and re-plug power cord into the electrical receptacle.
Light is not curing resins properly 1. Check lens for residual cured resins/composites. (see “Maintenance and Cleaning”)
2. Using proper amber UV eye protection, verify the LED lights are working.
3. Check power level with light meter. (See “Maintenance and Cleaning,”)
4. Check expiration date on curing resin.
5. Ensure proper technique is being followed (adhesive/composite) by manufacturer recommendations.

VALO GRAND Corded curing light uses electrical and electromagnetic energy
only for their internal functions. Therefore, any RF emissions are very low
and are not likely to cause interference in nearby electronic equipment.
The VALO GRAND Corded curing light is suitable for use in all

The Globtek 9VDC medical grade adaptor that is supplied with the
VALO GRAND Corded curing light operates from mains ranging from
100VAC – 240VAC and is capable of limited brown out, EMI, and surge
protection.
If the VALO GRAND Corded curing light user requires continued
operations without mains interruption, or the mains in any particular
region of a country are considered bad due to continuous brown-out,
black-out, or excessively noisy power conditions, it is recommended
that the VALO GRAND Corded curing light be powered from an
uninterruptible power supply or the customer purchase a VALO GRAND
Corded curing light unit.

radio broadcast and TV broadcast cannot be predicted theoretically with accuracy. To assess the electromagnetic environment due to xed RF transmitters,
an electromagnetic site survey should be considered. If the measured eld strength in the location in which the VALO GRAND Corded curing light is used
exceeds the applicable RF compliance level above, the VALO GRAND Corded curing light should be observed to verify normal operation. If abnormal
performance is observed, additional measures may be necessary, such as re-orienting or relocating the VALO GRAND Corded curing light.

The VALO GRAND Corded curing light is intended for use in an electromagnetic environment in which radiated RF disturbances are controlled. The user of
the VALO GRAND Corded curing light can help prevent electromagnetic interference by maintaining a minimum distance between portable and mobile RF
communications equipment (transmitters) and the VALO GRAND Corded curing light as recommended below, according to the maximum output power of the
communications equipment.

The VALO GRAND Corded curing light has been tested according to IEC 60601-1-2:2014 and passed under radiated eld strengths of 10 V/m between 80-
MHz to 2.5 GHz. The value of 3Vrms corresponds to V1 and the value 10 V/m corresponds to E1 in the formulas above.
For transmitters rated at a maximum output power not listed above, the recommended separation distance d in meters (m) can be estimated using the
equation applicable to the frequency of the transmitter, where P is the maximum output power rating of the transmitter in watts (W) according to the
transmitter manufacturer.
NOTE 1 At 80 MHz and 800 MHz, the separation distance for the higher frequency range applies.
NOTE 2 These guidelines may not apply in all situations. Electromagnetic propagation is affected by absorption and reection from structures, objects and
people.
Warranty for VALO GRAND Corded curing light units:
Ultradent hereby warrants that this instrument shall, for a period of 3 years**, conform in all material respects to the specications therefore as set
forth in Ultradent’s documentation accompanying the product and be free from any defects in materials/or workmanship. This warranty applies
solely to the original purchaser and is not transferable. All defective products are to be returned to Ultradent. There are no user service components
of the VALO GRAND Corded curing light system. Tampering with VALO GRAND Corded curing light will void its warranty.
The VALO GRAND Corded warranty does not cover customer caused damage. For example; if a VALO GRAND Corded is misused or dropped and the
lens breaks, the customer would be responsible to pay for any necessary repairs.

VALO GRAND Corded ist ein LED-Lichthärtegerät für die Polymerisation von lichtgehärteten zahnmedizinischen Polymerisationsleuchte zur Aushärtung
von lichthärtenden Dentalwerkstoffen. Das Lichthärtegerät VALO GRAND Corded eignet sich durch sein Breitband-Spektrum zur Polymerisierung aller
lichtgehärteten Produkte gemäß ISO 10650 in einem Wellenlängenbereich von 385-515 nm.
VALO GRAND Corded verfügt über eine weltweit passende Stromversorgung nach medizinischem Standard und kann an Steckdosen mit Spannungen von
100 bis 240 Volt angeschlossen werden. Das Handgerät ist so gestaltet, dass es entweder in einen Standardköcher einer regulären Zahnarzteinheit passt,
kann aber auch mit Hilfe der im Kit mitgelieferten Halterung individuell befestigt werden.

Bedienungsanleitung:
1 - Schließen Sie das 9Volt-Netzkabel an das Kabel des Handgeräts an.
2 - Stecken Sie das Stromkabel in eine Steckdose (100-240 Volt Wechselstrom). Die Timing-Leuchten brennen und zeigen die Betriebsbereitschaft
des Gerätes an. Das VALO GRAND Corded-Handgerät gibt beim Einschalten zwei Pieptöne ab.
3 - Stecken Sie das VALO GRAND Corded-Handgerät bis zum Einsatz in einem Köcher Ihrer Dentaleinheit oder in dem Zubehör-Halter ab.
4 - Vor der Verwendung eine Hygieneschutzhülle über die stabförmige VALO GRAND Corded-Leuchte ziehen.
5 - Wählen Sie den gewünschten Modus. VALO GRAND Corded hat 3 Modi: Standard Power, High Power Plus und Xtra Power. Jeder Modus wird
durch die Modus-/Status-Leuchten angezeigt (grün = Standard Power, orange = High Power Plus, blinkendes orange = Xtra Power). Um den
Modus zu wechseln, drücken Sie 2 Sekunden lang auf die Zeit-/Modus-Taste und lassen los. Die Modus-/Status-Leuchte wechselt nun in den
nächsten Modus.
HINWEIS: VALO GRAND Corded ist so programmiert, dass sie in Folge von Standard Power zu High Power Plus und zu Xtra Power wechselt. Um
also vom Standard Power-Modus zum Xtra Power-Modus zu gelangen, müssen Sie erst zum High Power Plus-Modus und dann zum Xtra Power-
Modus wechseln.
VALO GRAND Corded speichert immer das zuletzt benutzte Zeitintervall in jedem Modus und kehrt jedes Mal dazu zurück, wenn die Modi
gewechselt werden oder wenn das Gerät vom Netz getrennt wird und stromlos wird.
RUHE-MODUS: VALO GRAND Corded geht nach 1 Stunde Inaktivität in den Ruhemodus über, der durch eine langsam blinkende grüne
Modusleuchte angezeigt wird. Drücken Sie auf jede beliebige Taste, um VALO GRAND Corded wieder zu wecken und mit dem Polymerisieren zu
beginnen. VALO GRAND Corded springt automatisch in den zuletzt verwendeten Modus zurück.

MODUS: Standard Power

• Die VALO GRAND Corded geht automatisch in diesen Modus, wenn das Gerät ERSTMALIG eingeschaltet wird. Die grüne Status-Leuchte brennt,
und die grünen Timing-Leuchten brennen konstant.

ZEITINTERVALLE: 1, 2, 3, 4 Sekunden.
• Im Standard Power-Modus halten Sie die Taste Zeit / Moduswechsel für 2 Sekunden gedrückt. Die grünen Timing-Leuchten leuchten auf und
blinken. Die Statusleuchte leuchtet konstant und zeigt den High Power Plus-Modus an. Das am häugsten genutzte Zeitintervall in diesem Modus
ist ein Anheften mit 2 Sekunden.
• Zum Ändern der Zeitintervalle kurz auf die Zeit-/Modustaste drücken.
• Zum Aushärten die Einschalttaste drücken. Die Einschalttaste erneut drücken, um das Aushärten vor Ablauf eines Zeitintervalls zu beenden.
• Um zum Standard Power-Modus zurück zu gelangen, drücken und halten Sie die Taste Zeit / Moduswechsel für 2 Sekunden niedergedrückt. Der
Zyklus springt zu Xtra Power, die Taste loslassen, dann wieder für 2 Sekunden niedergedrückt halten und loslassen. Das grüne Licht leuchtet
konstant mit konstantem grünem Timing-Licht, das den Standard Power-Modus anzeigt.
MODUS: Xtra Power
ANWENDUNG: Aushärten von Restaurationsmaterialien mit Fotoinitiatoren.
ZEITINTERVALL: Nur 3 Sekunden (Hinweis: Es besteht eine Sicherheitsverzögerung von 2 Sekunden am Ende eines jeden Aushärtezyklus).
• Im Standard Power-Modus die Taste Zeit / Moduswechsel für 2 Sekunden niedergedrückt halten, loslassen und nochmals für 2 Sekunden
niederdrücken und loslassen. Drei der grünen Timing-Leuchten und die orange Statusleuchte leuchten auf und blinken, wodurch der Xtra Power-
Modus angezeigt wird.
• Zum Aushärten die Einschalttaste drücken. Die Einschalttaste erneut drücken, um das Aushärten vor Ablauf eines Zeitintervalls zu beenden.
• Um zum Modus Standard Power zurückzukehren, die Zeit-/Modustaste 2 Sekunden lang drücken.
Im Xtra Power-Modus darf Weichgewebe NICHT länger als 10 Sekunden bestrahlt werden. Der Xtra Power-Modus hat eine 2 Sekunden lange
Sicherheitsverzögerung, um die Erwärmung während wiederholter Aushärtung zu begrenzen. Am Ende der 2-Sekunden-Verzögerung piept das
Gerät, um anzuzeigen, dass das Gerät zum weiteren Einsatz bereit ist. Wenn eine längere Aushärtung notwendig ist, halten Sie jeweils 10 Sekunden
Pause zwischen den Polymerisationen ein. Sie sollten in diesem Fall auch die Verwendung eines dualhärtenden Produkts erwägen (Komposit oder
Adhäsiv).
Hinweis: Wenn in der Nähe von Weichgewebe gehärtet werden muss, kann dieser Bereich mit einem Luftstrom gekühlt werden.

Auslastungsgrad: Der VALO GRAND Corded ist für kurzfristigen Betrieb ausgelegt. Bei maximaler Umgebungstemperatur (32 ° C) 1 Minute EIN im
fortlaufenden Zyklus, 30 Minuten AUS (Abkühlzeit).
Anleitung für den zusätzlichen Halter
1- Der Halter sollte auf einer flachen, ölfreien Oberfläche angebracht werden.
2- Reinigen Sie die Oberfläche mit Reinigungsalkohol.
3- Ziehen Sie das rückseitige Schutzpapier vom Klebeband des Halters ab.
4- Platzieren Sie den Halter so, dass das Handgerät beim Entnehmen in die Höhe gehoben werden kann. Drücken Sie den Halter fest an seinem Platz an.
Reinigung und Pege

Lichtstärkemesser schwanken stark und sind für bestimmte Lichtleiter und Lichtaustrittsfenster vorgesehen. Ultradent empfiehlt die Überprüfung des
Lichthärtegeräts VALO GRAND Corded im Standard-Power-Modus. HINWEIS: Die wahre numerische Leistung wird durch die Ungenauigkeit der üblichen
Beleuchtungsmesser und der benutzerdefinierte Verwendung der LED-Packung für das Lichthärtegerät VALO GRAND Corded verzerrt.

Hinweise zu Problemlösungen
Wenn durch die unten vorgeschlagenen Lösungen Ihr Problem nicht behoben werden kann, rufen Sie bitte Ultradent unter der Nummer 800.552.5512 an.
Außerhalb der Vereinigten Staaten rufen Sie Ihren Ultradent-Verkäufer oder Dental-Händler an.
Reparaturen dürfen nur von autorisiertem Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden. Ultradent stellt Service-Personal mit entsprechenden Unterlagen zur
Durchführung von Reparaturen zur Verfügung.
Problem Mögliche Lösungen
Das Licht schaltet sich nicht ein. 1. Drücken Sie die Zeit-/Modus-Taste oder die Netz-Taste, um das Gerät aus dem Ruhe-Modus zu aktivieren.
2. Überprüfen Sie, dass beide Kabel fest miteinander verbunden und in die Steckdose eingesteckt sind.
3. Prüfen Sie, ob die Steckdose mit Strom versorgt ist.
Das Licht bleibt nicht für die gewünschte
Zeitspanne eingeschaltet 1. Überprüfen Sie die korrekten Eingaben für Modus und Timing-Leuchte 2. Bestätigen Sie, dass alle Kabelverbindungen fest sitzen.
3. Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose und stecken Sie ihn wieder ein.
Das Licht härtet den Kunststoff nicht

3 - Mettez la pièce à main VALO GRAND Corded dans un support de fixation dentaire standard ou dans le support accessoire jusqu’à ce que vous soyez
prêt à l’utiliser.
4 - Avant son utilisation, glissez un gaine de protection sur la VALO GRAND Corded.
5 - Sélectionnez le mode désiré: VALO GRAND Corded a 3 modes: Puissance standard, haute puissance et puissance Xtra. Chaque mode est
identié par le voyant de mode/de statut (vert = puissance standard, orange = haute puissance, orange clignotant = puissance Xtra). Pour
changer de mode, appuyez sur le bouton de changement du temps/du mode pendant 2 secondes et relâchez. Le voyant de mode/de statut
passera sur le mode suivant.
NOTE : La VALO GRAND Corded est programmée pour passer de la puissance standard à la haute puissance puis au mode de puissance Xtra
dans cet ordre. Par exemple, pour changer du mode de puissance standard au mode de puissance Xtra, il faut passer par le mode de haute
puissance puis au mode de puissance Xtra.
La VALO GRAND Corded conserve toujours le dernier intervalle de minuterie utilisé dans chaque mode et retournera par défaut à cet intervalle de
minuterie lorsque les modes sont modifiés ou si la lampe est débranchée et perd le courant.
MODE VEILLE : La VALO GRAND Corded se mettra en mode de VEILLE après 1 heure d’inactivité, et cela sera indiqué par un voyant de mode vert
clignotant au ralenti. Appuyez sur n’importe quel bouton pour réveiller la VALO GRAND Corded et commencer une polymérisation. La VALO GRAND
Corded reviendra automatiquement sur le réglage utilisé en dernier.
Précaution : Portez toujours les lunettes de sécurité orange lorsque la lampe à polymériser est allumée.

• La VALO GRAND Corded se met sur ce mode par défaut quand elle VIENT d’être allumée. Le voyant d’état est vert et les voyants de la minuterie
verts sont allumés en continu.
• Pour changer les intervalles de la minuterie appuyez rapidement sur le bouton de changement de la durée/de mode.
• Appuyez sur le bouton d’allumage pour polymériser. Pour arrêter la polymérisation avant la n d’un intervalle de minuterie, appuyez à nouveau
sur le bouton d’allumage.

UTILISATIONS: Polymérisation des matériaux de restauration avec des photoinitiateurs.
INTERVALLES DE PROGRAMMATIONDE LA MINUTERIE: 1, 2, 3 et 4 secondes.
• Depuis le mode de puissance standard, appuyez et maintenez le bouton de changement de Durée/Mode pendant 2 secondes. Les voyants verts
de la minuterie s’allumeront et clignoteront. Le voyant d’état brillera orange en continu, indiquant ainsi le mode de puissance haute. Un puissant
intervalle de deux-secondes est la programmation de la minuterie la plus communément utilisée dans ce mode.
• Pour changer les intervalles de la minuterie appuyez rapidement sur le bouton de changement de la durée/de mode.
• Appuyez sur le bouton d’allumage pour polymériser. Pour arrêter la polymérisation avant la n d’un intervalle de minuterie, appuyez à nouveau
sur le bouton d’allumage.
• Pour retourner au mode de puissance standard, appuyez et maintenez le bouton de changement de Durée/Mode pendant 2 secondes, cela
passera la VALO GRAND Corded en mode de puissance Xtra, puis relâchez, maintenez pendant 2 autres secondes et relâchez. Le voyant vert
sera allumé en continu avec les voyants de minuterie en vert continu également, pour indiquer le mode de puissance standard.
MODE DE POLYMERISATION: Mode de puissance Xtra
UTILISATIONS: Polymérisation des matériaux de restauration avec des photoinitiateurs.
INTERVALLE DE PROGRAMMATIONDE LA MINUTERIE: 3 secondes uniquement (Note: il y a un délai de sécurité de 2 secondes à la n de chaque
cycle de polymérisation).
• Depuis le mode de puissance standard, appuyez sur le bouton de changement de Durée/Mode pendant 2 secondes, relâchez, appuyez de
nouveau pendant 2 secondes et relâchez. Trois des voyants verts de la minuterie et le voyant orange d’état s’allumeront et clignoteront, indiquant
ainsi le mode de puissance Xtra.
• Appuyez sur le bouton d’allumage pour polymériser. Pour arrêter la polymérisation avant la n d’un intervalle de minuterie, appuyez à nouveau
sur le bouton d’allumage.
• Pour revenir au mode de puissance standard, appuyez et maintenez le bouton de changement de la durée/de mode pendant 2 secondes.
AVERTISSEMENT : En mode de puissance Xtra, N’exposez PAS les tissus mous pendant plus de 10 secondes. Le mode de puissance Xtra a un délai
de sécurité de 2 secondes pour limiter le chauffement des tissus oraux pendant les polymérisations consécutives. Au bout du délai de 2 secondes,

un bip sonore retentira et indiquera que l’unité est prête pour une utilisation continue. Si une polymérisation plus longue est nécessaire, attendez 10
secondes entre les polymérisations consécutives ou considérez un produit à double-polymérisation (composite ou adhésif).
Note: S’il est nécessaire de faire une polymérisation près de tissus mous, vous pouvez appliquer un jet d’air refroidissant pour garder la zone plus froide.
Cycle de service : La lampe VALO GRAND Corded a été conçue pour être utilisée sur de courtes durées. À la température ambiante maximale (32
°C), 1 minute consécutive d’utilisation, 30 minutes d’arrêt (période de refroidissement).
Instructions pour le support accessoire
1- Le support devrait être fixé sur une surface plane et sans huile.
2- Nettoyez la surface à l’alcool à 90 degrés.
3- Pelez le papier dorsal du ruban adhésif du support.
4- Positionnez le support afin que la pièce à main se sorte par le haut lorsqu’elle est retirée. Appuyez fermement pour le faire tenir en place.
Entretien et nettoyage
La lampe à polymériser VALO GRAND Corded est un appareil hermétique pourvu d'une surface dure et d'une lentille en verre résistante aux
rayures. Après chaque utilisation, humidifiez avec une gaze ou un chiffon doux avec un désinfectant de surface approuvé (voir le tableau
ci-dessous) et essuyez la surface et la lentille. Inspectez régulièrement s’il y a des restes de résine polymérisée sur la lentille et enlevez
soigneusement tout composite collé dessus.
Le manchon de protection évite la contamination croisée et évite que le matériau composite dentaire n'adhère que la lentille et sur la surface de la lampe.
Les luxmètres diffèrent grandement et sont conçus pour des embouts guides et des lentilles de lampes spéciques. Ultradent recommande de
vérier la lampe à polymériser VALO GRAND câblée en mode de puissance standard. REMARQUE : le rendement numérique réel est biaisé en raison
de l'imprécision des luxmètres conventionnels et du bloc LED sur mesure équipant la lampe à polymériser VALO GRAND câblée.
AVERTISSEMENT DE SECURITE CONCERNANT LE PRODUIT:
• NE PAS mettre en autoclave.
• NE PAS immerger dans un bain à ultrasons, des désinfectants, des solutions de nettoyage, ni aucun autre liquide.
• PRECAUTIONS : Electricité statique : cet appareil peut être sensible aux champs magnétiques ou statiques intenses qui peuvent nuire à sa
programmation. Si vous pensez avoir rencontré ce problème, débranchez la lampe ou retirez momentanément les piles.
• Ne PAS essuyer la lampe à polymériser VALO GRAND Corded avec des nettoyants agressifs ni abrasifs. Voir la liste des agents de nettoyage
acceptables ci-dessous :
