First use
To activate and turn on the scale for the first time, insert a pin
into the RESET hole next to the power connector.
Weighing without the application
After activating the scale, your scale is ready to use. Without
downloading the application, the scale can be used stand
alone as a regular digital weight scale.
Weighing procedure
1. Step onto the scale to turn it on.
CAL
appears on the display.
3. After 00 is displayed, step on the scale again.
4. Keep standing on the scale. The measurement is completed
after the measured value flashes twice.
5. The display shows the detected weight, BMI, body fat and
heart rate.
6. You can see other measured body parameters in the
application.
Use the scale only with dry feet and barefoot. Body
parameters cannot be measured over socks or with wet feet.

U-Scale application
With the U-Scale application you have access to all measured
data and you can easily monitor your weight and other
parameters.
The UMAX Smart Scale US20HRC supports Bluetooth and
WiFi connections. You must first connect the application
to the scale via Bluetooth, and if you have a secure WiFi
network, we also recommend setting up a WiFi connection.
You can find the U-Scale app in the Google Play Store
(Android version) and the App Store (iOS version).

After installing the application, create your account and fill in
your personal information. Gender, date of birth and height
must be filled in correctly, these data are used to calculate
some body parameters.
Athlete mode - for those who have muscular body and
exercise intensively for more than 12 hours a week and whose
resting heart rate is less than 60 beats per minute.
Bluetooth connection
After creating a new profile, set up the Bluetooth connection
in the application.
Activate Bluetooth on your phone. If you’re using Android,
also activate Location.
wait until CAL and 00 appear on the display. Then step on the
scale.
Icon of US20HRC is displayed in the application. Click on it.

Stay on the scale until the connection is completed.
After completing Bluetooth connection, WiFi connection
option is displayed. You can set up a WiFi connection now or
skip and set it up later.
If you have skipped Bluetooth set up after creating a user
profile, you can set it up by clicking +on the main application
page, selecting Device Management, and clicking +.

WiFi connection
Connection via WiFi is not required for the functionality of the
scale, all measured data are also transmitted via Bluetooth.
If you have secure WiFi, we recommend setting up a WiFi
connection, which has several advantages:
· WiFi range is greater than Bluetooth
· The measured data are automatically uploaded to the server
via WiFi and it is not necessary to use the phone with the
application during weighing
You must first set up the scale via Bluetooth, and then you can
set up a WiFi connection.
The scale supports connection via WiFi networks of 2.4GHz
type. If you have a phone connected to a 5GHz network,
connect it to a 2.4GHz network first. After completing the
connection, you can reconnect your phone to the 5GHz
network.
When the Bluetooth connection is completed, the WiFi
connection set up option is automatically displayed.

Enter the password for your WiFi network. Wait for the scale
to connect to your WiFi network. During the set up, do not

You do not have to use the phone and the application during
weighing, the measured values will be sent to the server and
will be automatically displayed in the application.
If you skipped the WiFi settings during the initial set up, you
can set it later by clicking on the +on the main page of the
application, selecting Device Management and clicking on
US20HRC.

Measurement (Bluetooth)
If you have the U-Scale application running and Bluetooth
turned on in your phone during measurement, the measured
data will be sent directly to the phone via Bluetooth.
Bluetooth or the phone is not
within range of the scale, the Bluetooth connection will not
be established. If you have set up a WiFi connection, the
measured data will be sent via WiFi.
If the WiFi connection is not set, the measured data will be
stored in the scale and sent to the phone via Bluetooth next
time.
Measurement (WiFi)
If you don’t have the U-Scale application open or have
will be sent via WiFi to the server, and downloaded from the
server to the application.
