GARANTIE
Underwater Kinetics garantit, pour une période de 10 ans à compter de la date d’achat,
que ce produit ne présente aucun défaut de fabrication ou de vice de matériau en cas
d’utilisation conformément aux fins prévues. En outre, Underwater Kinetics accorde au
premier acheteur, à compter de la date d’achat, une garantie limitée pour les matériaux
utilisés dans les produits, à savoir : 10 ans pour les matières plastiques, 3 ans pour le
caoutchouc, 1 an pour l’ampoule LED et le système électronique, 90 jours pour les piles
rechargeables (les piles et l’ampoule ne sont pas fabriquées par Underwater Kinetics).
Cette garantie se limite au premier acheteur du produit et ne peut être transférée. Toute
revendication en garantie est exclue en cas de modification du produit ou de son utilisation
non conforme aux fins prévues. Si en tant que premier acheteur vous constatez un vice de
fabrication ou un défaut de matériau, nous vous prions de bien vouloir renvoyer le produit

PFLEGE UND WARTUNG
• Bereich um den O-Ring sauber halten.
• Wenn Wasser in die Lampe eindringt, die Lampe
sofort ausschalten. Nach der Rückkehr an Land oder
auf ein Boot den Lampenkopf abschrauben und die
Lampe mit sauberem Wasser ausspülen. Alle
Bauteile müssen vor dem Wiederzusammenbau
vollständig trocknen sein. Die Lampe wieder
zusammensetzen und prüfen, ob sie noch
funktioniert. Falls nicht, schicken Sie sie zur
Reparatur an Ihren UK-Händler oder direkt an
Underwater Kinetics. Vor dem Versand den O-Ring
abnehmen.
• Das Lampenmodul enthält einen Wasserst-
offkatalysator und muss ausgetauscht werden, falls
er nass geworden ist.
• Die Batterien bei längerem Nichtgebrauch aus
der Lampe herausnehmen, um ein Auslaufen der
Batterien und eine daraus resultierende Beschädi-
gung der Lampe zu vermeiden.
Aufgrund eines übermäßigen Druckaufbaus durch Batteriegase könnten
Bauteile der SL4 eLED herausgestoßen werden, wenn die Lampe geöffnet wird.
Um Verletzungen und Schäden beim Abschrauben des Lampenkopfes zu
vermeiden, die Lampe vom Körper entfernt halten und nicht auf andere
Personen in der Nähe richten.
Batterien, die (1) eingesetzt werden, ohne auf die Polarität zu achten, die (2)
nicht vom selben Typ, derselben Marke oder gleich alt sind oder die (3)
vollständig entladen sind, können Wasserstoffgas freisetzen und so eine
Explosion verursachen.
• Die Batterien entsprechend der Abbildung auf der Lampe oder in dieser
Anleitung einlegen.
• Keine Batterien unterschiedlichen Typs, unterschiedlicher Marken oder
unterschiedlichen Alters kombinieren.
• Ausgelaufene oder leere Batterien entsorgen.
Die Lampe und die verwendeten Batterien dürfen nicht zusammen
mit Haushaltsabfall entsorgt werden. Bitte recyceln Sie diese
Produkte entsprechend der lokalen Verordnungen, beispielsweise
durch Rückgabe an den Hersteller oder eine Recyclingstelle.

Kinetics). Esta garantía está limitada al primer comprador del producto, y no se puede

MANTENIMIENTO Y CUIDADOS
• Mantenga limpia la zona alrededor de la junta tórica.
• Si la lámpara se inundase con agua, apáguela
inmediatamente. Después de volver a la costa o a la
embarcación, desenrosque el engaste y enjuague las
piezas interiores de la luz con agua dulce, y deje que
todos los componentes se sequen completamente.
Vuelta a montar la lámpara para comprobar que todavía
funcione. En caso negativo, envíela a su distribuidor de
UK o a Underwater Kinetics para que la reparen
(extraiga la junta tórica antes de enviarla).
• Cambie el engaste o el módulo de la linterna si se
mojase, ya que contiene un catalizador que absorbe
hidrógeno.
• No mantenga pilas dentro de la interna durante largo
tiempo si no la usase (pueden aparecer fugas y
deteriorarse).

Europe. In caso di esercizio della presente Garanzia, Underwater Kinetics, a sua scelta,
provvederà alla riparazione o alla sostituzione di ogni prodotto difettoso, o delle parti

La Garanzia non è valida quando viene gestita da soggetti terzi non autorizzati da

CURA E MANUTENZIONE
• Mantenere pulita l'area intorno all'o-ring.
• Se la torcia si riempie di acqua, spegnerla
immediatamente. Dopo aver raggiunto la riva o
l'imbarcazione, svitare la testa e sciacquare il
contenuto con acqua dolce. Lasciare asciugare
completamente tutti i componenti. Rimontare la torca
per verificarne il corretto funzionamento. Se guasta,
inviarla a un rivenditore UK o a Underwater Kinetics
per la riparazione. Prima della spedizione, rimuovere
l'o-ring.
• Se rimane umida, sostituire la testa/modulo LED
che contiene un catalizzatore che favorisce
l'assorbimento dell'idrogeno.
• Se la torcia rimane inutilizzata per lunghi periodi,
rimuovere le batterie dal vano batterie per evitare
eventuali perdite che potrebbero danneggiarla.
Per batterie al litio e ricaricabili: È necessario conferire agli appositi centri di
raccolta solo le batterie vuote (scariche). Assicurarsi che i poli della batteria
siano isolati (ad esempio applicandovi un nastro adesivo) come precauzione
aggiuntiva contro eventuali corto-circuiti, qualora la batteria non fosse
completamente esaurita.
Le batterie che (1) sono installate con la polarità errata, (2) non sono dello

Underwater Kinetics garandeert gedurende een periode van 10 jaar vanaf de datum

fouten. Bovendien biedt Underwater Kinetics de eerste koper vanaf de datum van aankoop

De garantie vervalt door ingrepen van derden die niet door Underwater Kinetics of haar
verkooppartners zijn geautoriseerd. Deze garantiebepalingen laten uw wettelijke rechten

VERZORGING EN ONDERHOUD
• Het gedeelte rond de o-ring schoon houden.
• Indien er water in de lamp binnendringt, de lamp
onmiddellijk uitschakelen. Na terugkeer aan land of
op een boot de lampkop eraf schroeven en de lamp
met schoon water uitspoelen. Alle onderdelen
moeten volledig droog zijn alvorens de lamp weer
wordt gemonteerd. De lamp weer in elkaar zetten en
controleren of deze nog werkt. Indien dit niet het
geval is, stuurt u deze ter reparatie op naar uw
UK-leverancier of direct naar Underwater Kinetics.
Vóór de verzending de O-ring verwijderen.
• De lampkop (LED-module) bevat een
waterstofkatalysator en moet worden vervangen als
deze nat is geworden.
• Haal de batterijen uit de lamp als deze langere tijd
niet wordt gebruikt om het uitlopen van de batterijen
en als gevolg daarvan een beschadiging van de lamp
te voorkomen.
Als gevolg van een overmatige drukopbouw door batterijgassen zouden
onderdelen van de SL4 eLED naar buiten kunnen worden gedrukt als de lamp

ontladen zijn, kan waterstofgas vrijkomen, waardoor een explosie kan worden

gebruiksaanwijzing.
• Combineer geen batterijen van een verschillend type, verschillende merken of
verschillende ouderdom.
• Uitgelopen of lege batterijen verwijderen.
De lamp en de gebruikte batterijen mogen niet met het huisafval
worden afgevoerd. Recycle het product conform de plaatselijke

performance and durability. All products carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty
to the original retail purchaser to be free from defective material and
workmanship under normal and intended use. In addition, the Underwater

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
• Keep area around the o-ring seal clean.
• If your torch floods with water, turn it off immediately. After
returning to shore or dive boat, unscrew the bezel and rinse the
contents with fresh water. Allow all components to dry completely.
Reassemble the torch to see if it still works. If not, return it to your
UK dealer or to Underwater Kinetics for repair. Remove the o-ring
before shipping.
• To insure that active hydrogen removal catalyst is present in the
torch, replace the reflector lamp if it gets wet.
• Do not store batteries in the torch for long periods of time. They
may leak and cause damage.

MAINTENANCE ET ENTRETIEN
• L’espace autour du joint torique doit toujours
rester propre.
• Immédiatement éteindre la lampe lorsque de
l’eau a réussi à y pénétrer. Une fois à terre ou sur le
bateau, dévissez la tête de la lampe pour rincer la
lampe avec de l’eau potable. Toutes les pièces
doivent être bien sèches avant de les remonter.
Remontez les pièces et vérifiez si la lampe
fonctionne. Dans le cas contraire, il faudra l’envoyer
pour réparation à votre revendeur UK ou directement
à Underwater Kinetics. N’oubliez pas de retirer le
joint torique avant d’expédier la lampe.
• La tête (module LED) contient un catalyseur
d’hydrogène à remplacer en cas de contact avec
l’eau.
• Les piles sont à retirer si la lampe n’est pas
utilisée pendant un certain temps pour éviter qu’elles
ne fuient et endommagent ainsi la lampe.
!ATTENTION
Une pression excessive due aux gaz de la pile peut se traduire par l’éjection de
pièces de la SL4 eLED lorsque la lampe est ouverte. Pour éviter tout accident et
exclure tout risque lorsque la tête de la lampe est dévissée, tenir la lampe loin
du corps et ne pas la diriger sur d’autres personnes.
Les piles posées sans tenir compte de la polarité (1), d’un autre type, marque ou
âge (2) ou pas entièrement déchargées (3) peuvent donner lieu à un
dégagement de gaz hydrogène et ainsi causer une explosion.
• Posez les piles conformément au dessin sur la lampe ou dans le mode
d’emploi.
• Ne jamais combiner des piles de types, marques ou durée de stockage
différents.
• Eliminer sans polluer les piles qui fuient ou déchargées.
La lampe et les piles utilisées ne doivent pas être jetées avec les
ordures ménagères. Veuillez faire recycler ces produits
conformément aux prescriptions locales, en les rapportant par
exemple au fabricant ou à un centre de tri.
Components of the SL4 may be ejected when the SL4 is opened, due to excess
pressure build-up from battery gases. To avoid harm when unscrewing bezel,
point light away from yourself and any other persons nearby.
Batteries which are (1) loaded without observing the proper polarity, (2) are not
the same type, brand name and age or (3) are completely discharged can vent
hydrogen gas and possibly cause an explosion.
• Load batteries according to the diagram shown on the light or in these
